Leaving the flat you will run straight into the hustle and bustle of Madrid. Going in, you are guaranteed to enjoy peace and quiet.Property with no lift.
Fantastic location in the heart of Madrid, just a few steps from Grand Via. From here, we were able to walk to most of the main attractions in Madrid. Atocha train station is about a 25 minute walk. Other sights are in the 15-20 minute walk range. Restaurants are plentiful in the area, and there are grocery stores nearby. There are also several Metro stops nearby, which is also a great way to get around town. The property appears newly refurbished, with three bedrooms, two baths and a living/dining/kitchen space. All very nicely appointed. The (very narrow) street can be a little noisy in the evenings, as this is a busy area with lots of nightlife. But, we were still able to get a good nightâs rest. The host kindly allowed us to store our bags there early on our arrival day - as the cleaners were getting the place ready. The check in app was a little clunky, but we were able to complete the check in and access the apartment using a digital key. After the first time, we used the regular key to get in and out. There is both an entry door to the building and a door to the apartment. There is only a street view, but we spent our time in Madrid sightseeing. All in all, this place served as a great home base for our adventures in Spain. (We stayed for a week visiting our daughter who was studying in Madrid and took side trips to Sevilla and Barcelona via train.)Thanks to Emilio and his team!
