Lovely cottage and very welcoming owners

Excellent place to stay with our family, including two year old granddaughter. Facilities were great including games room, swimming pool and outdoor play equipment. Nice quiet location but not far to get to the coast.

A little bit of heaven in devon

We had a lovely stay here while our home was being repaired. The Cottage was tidy, clean and homely, with the garden and swimming pool well used by our daughter. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our time here, thank you very much for a lovely 3 weeks :)

Well equipped cottage in lovely setting

Lovely,comfortable cottage with excellent facilities. Beautiful garden with the bonus of a large indoor pool. We were all adults, but the property had everything to ensure an excellent holiday for families with children.

Perfect escape into the country

The owners thought of everything! The cottage was charming and creaky. Quiet and private but close enough to the attractions we came for. Will certainly recommend!

Place was great, especially as the other cottage wasnt booked so we had everything to ourselves, hosts were very helpful and chatty, already send links to this property to lots of our friends.

Wonderful location, great facilities and hosts.

As a family of four we found this accommodation extremely spacious and well equipped. The extra facilities eg swimming pool, games room, play equipment and animals were a real hit with our children. The cottage is in a great location with beaches, restaurants and tourist attractions all within easy driving distance. We will definitely be returning.

Well mantained, very cleaned and comfortable

We had a very good Easter break and the house was home from home. The house is comfortable and cosy with all the necessities in the kitchen if you choose to cook. There is a well mantained swimming pool which was a great bonus which we really enjoyed. Would definetely return there again and would 100% recomend it.

Great cottage

Beautiful well looked after cottage. The owners are very polite and helpful. Kids loved the swimming pool and peacocks. Lovely farm. Thanks again for looking after us.

Lovely place - amazing value!

What a find! Amazing value for money. Could not keep the children out of the heated pool in the back garden and Christina and her husband were great hosts. A great base for exploring North Devon. Book now - you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic cottage in a great location

We had a fabulous week in the cottage. Lovely cottage in a great location. Clean and well equipped. Owners were so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Christine took us to watch the calves feeding and showed us all her wonderful birds. Lovely walks in the area, great beaches nearby and plenty to do at the cottage. Games room and pool were a fantastic added bonus!

Beautiful cottage in a quiet location, charming garden

We had an amazing holiday. The owners welcomed us with Devon cream tea, they are very approachable and helpful. The cottage is located in a quiet rural location, very clean, equipped with everything you need. Beautiful garden, with a table and chairs, trampoline and indoor swimming pool. We highly recommend it and would like to come again

Lovely spacious property

We shared the cottage with our daughters and grandchildren and it was wonderful. There was everything you needed and more. Christina gave us a lovely welcome with a cream tea and flowers. Our grandchildren absolutely loved the fact that Christina let them hold her one day old chick and duckling. The play area was really good and the indoor heated pool a real bonus, as well as the games room. The cottage is well situated for visiting the North Devon coastal resorts.

Fabulous cottage! Amazing location and everything needed for a perfect break.

The cottage was fantastic. It was spacious, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The number of bathrooms and toilets was great - there was no waiting in the mornings to get ready. The garden was beautiful and perfect for our dog to run around. The swimming pool was perfect, well heated and great fun for our teenage boys, and between the pool and the games room with pool, table tennis and darts we didn't see them much. It was lovely to wake to the call of the peacocks and the cluck of the chickens. We will definitely return.

Peaceful, lovely and very welcome. Lots of fun for kids!

We stayed three weeks in Millers Cottage. The House is very clean whit all we needed. The garden beautiful to relax, big play area in and outdoor. We felt very welcome to be all around. The kids was everyday in the Pool and played around the house. It's lovely to wake up whit the sounds of birds. Christina and Gordon are very lovely hosts. Welcomed us whit scones and clotted cream and did more backing for the kids next week... Helpful around, but discreet. We had a wonderful time and would definitely go back!

We had so much fun!

This holiday cottage had it all! My daughter could not get enough of the trampoline and swimming pool. The grown-ups loved watching the sun set while we enjoyed a bottle of wine in the beautiful, private back garden. Our dog was welcome too, and she loved the trips to the seaside and gorgeous hiking trails only a short drive away. Don't miss the nearby Gnome Reserve too! The house itself is homey with comfortable, lived-in furnishings. It was nice and clean but you didn't feel afraid to make yourself at home. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking in (or out!). I hope we can make it a family tradition!

Had so much to offer. Animals, swimming pool, homely accommodation and enclosed garden for the dog.

Home made scones on the welcome tray. Milk in the fridge. A thorough walk through with the owner on arrival was very helpful. The pool was warm and the children enjoyed the games room too. The peacocks were gorgeous and seeing the heron was a bonus. The wet room was fabulous and everything was very clean through out the cottage. The kitchen had everything (Prehaps too much, as no space for food). Ideally located with village shop up the road and Bideford just 20 minutes drive. The beach at Westward Ho! Was perfect for the children and dog. The owners have thought of everything and were very happy to show the children the animals. Very comfortable accommodation in a lovely setting, we would love to come back.

Heerlijke en zeer kindvriendelijke accomodatie!

Geweldig huis met fijne tuin. Heerlijk verwarmd zwembad bij het huis. De accomodatie bestaat uit twee aan elkaar gebouwde vakantiehuizen. Wij hadden Millers Cottage tot onze beschikking. Deze cottage heeft een fijne groene tuin met fijn tuinmeubilair en droogrek. Het huis heeft een elektrische kachel die het huis zeer snel kan opwarmen als het fris is. Er zijn twee douches en 1 bad. Zeer compleet in gericht. Grote trampoline voor de kinderen. Diverse speelhuisjes. Deze speelattributen staan in een tuin die gemeenschappelijk gebruikt kan worden. Dit is naast het zwembad. Ook is er een ruimte waar je kunt tafeltennissen, darten en poolen. De kinderen vonden dit geweldig! De omgeving is werkelijk prachtig! Zeer veel mooie wandelingen gemaakt, ook langs het Coast Path. Christina is een zeer vriendelijke host. Ze had zelfs een keer toen het regende onze was van de lijn gehaald en opgevouwen!

Great cottage, great hosts, great location

This place is fantastic, lovely cottage situated on a farm, plenty of space and great for little kids. The cottage was clean and spacious, with a lovely private garden, a great indoor pool onsite and larger grounds shared with the single other cottage. As it is on a farm there are some animals you can go see, which was a big hit with our little one and having the playgrounds on site was another great plus. The swimming pool is great, it is heated and indoors so you can swim whatever the weather. We loved our stay, wish we could have stayed longer. The hosts were amazing, very friendly and made us feel so welcomed. Cannot not recommend highly enough and will definitely go back if we can. Thanks for the great holiday

Very comfortable spacious cottage

Beautifully clean, comfortable and very well equipped cottage. Lovely scones waiting for us when we arrived. Kids loved the pool, games room and trampoline. We loved exploring Hartland Point coastal path and Bude (both within 30 mins easy drive) and Saunton Sands (bit further away). Great spot.
