Maison du capitaine est un grade 2 énumérés, propriété de 4 chambres dans le centre de Appledore, proche de toutes commodités et 50 verges de l'embarcadère. Cette propriété spacieuse et lumineuse dispose de 4 chambres situées sur 3 étages. En outre, il est un jardin avec barbecue. Ceci est un endroit idéal pour la plage, le surf, le vélo, la marche, le golf et les arts et l'artisanat. Pour les plus jeunes visiteurs, il est crabe sur le quai et il ya une fourniture de matériel de plage telles que planches de surf, des filets de pêche au crabe et ainsi de suite à la propriété. Il ya un lit et une chaise haute pour les très jeunes.

Appledore haven

Wonderful cottage in the middle of Appledore - extremely well equipped and fantastic location. The beautiful courtyard garden was a subtract and perfect for doggies - We had a fantastic week.

Family get together for birthday

Comfortable house in a nice location in a great village. It has everything you need for a lovely stay whether that’s for a few days or longer. We had a great time and would definitely consider coming back.

Lovely week stay in Appledore

Really enjoyed staying in this property in Appledore. Felt like a home from home! Well equipped, clean and well maintained and decorated in a cosy, seaside cottage feel. All 4 bedrooms are a good size too and the boys loved sleeping in the loft bedroom. Host was super-responsive with any questions we had. Appledore itself is a lovely quayside town, with plenty of places to eat.

Fantastic Easter Break

A fabulous, spacious property located near to all amenities, restaurants and bars a Stones throw from the main quayside. Host was very responsive to all our questions and property photos dont do the house justice, it was fantastic for all our needs. Would definitely recommend.

Out Of Season Break

Has a fantastic week in Appledore. House was just what we expected, had character, great location and all facilities necessary. Really cozy and right in the heart of the town. Our first visit to Appledore and it’s delightful. Felt like a really working town and central for lots of day trips. Would highly recommend

Great place

Lovely cottage, very clean and everything you’d need during your stay. Print contact with Jackie and Maria her cleaner. Bit of noise late at night from the pub opposite, but certainly not the end of the world. Great location in the centre of Appledore, so if you want that, it has to be weighed off against a bit of noise on the odd occasion.

The Captain’s House

What a joy it was to stay in this lovely property. The house was beautifully furnished, immaculately clean and fully and thoughtfully equipped. The owners,Jackie and Joe, provided excellent information regarding travel directions, places to visit etc. We would definitely choose The Captain’s House again if we were coming to stay in North Devon.

Nice cottage

Lovely cottage right in the heart of Appledore. Well furnished and plenty of room for us (5 adults and a dog). You can stop the car outside to unload which is a real benefit.

Half term break in North Devon

I stayed here with my mother, my 3 children and our Cockapoo. Accommodation was great, loads of space, extremely well equipped kitchen, spotlessly clean. We paid for a weeks parking at the car park near the Maritime museum….good value £16. Would definitely return.

Perfect for a family reunion

Down one ifAppledores quaint narrow streets, the Captain's House was surprisingly huge inside with well appointed bedrooms and great spaces. We loved the suntrap garden and the proximity to the seafront. Highly recommended.

Perfect location and cottage

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely spacious cottage in the heart of Appledore. Plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from, we also enjoyed cooking in the fully equipped kitchen. Shopping for food in John's and the fish market. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again.

Fabulous!

Great, spacious, superbly equipped house a stones throw from the quayside. Pubs, fish and chips, pizzas and restaurants all within 2 mins walk. Great to explore the north Devon coast. Can’t wait to come back!

All communication with Jackie was prompt and excellent. The house was easy to find, down a very narrow street so a quick unload of the car upon arrival and easily parked up along the quay for free for the rest of the week. ( just a couple of mins walk away ). The house was well presented and absolutely spotless with super comfy beds. A great find for our family of 5 ( and space for more!) and a super base to explore Devon. Would recommend to anyone wishing to stay in the area. An additional thanks to Jackie for posting back a couple of items we left behind - many thanks of the stay.

We live in London with 3 children and pets. We purchased the property in 2006 when it was totally refurbished. We regularly spend time in Appledore as we love the charm of the village and the fact that there is so much to do on our doorstep.

We hope that visitors to the cottage have as much fun there as we have had over the years.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Appledore has a lot of variety to offer ranging from the various outdoor activities such as the beaches, surfing, cycling, walking and golf to just ambling along visiting the various art and craft shops. there are a number of excellent public houses which serve food and regularly provide live entertainment.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

With the central location of the property it is less than a minutes walk to the local newsagent and grocery store. In addition being located just 50 yards from the Quay means that right on the doorstep you can amble along the Quay or just sit an admire the view across the estuary to Instow.
