La base idéale pour explorer le nord du Devon. 3 chambres pour 6 personnes (plus bébé), dans un lit king size, lits superposés et chambre twin, une salle de bain et salle de douche, cuisine-salle à manger bien équipée et salon avec vue sur la mer menant à la terrasse ensoleillée et au jardin. Lovely old cottage with everything we needed, fantastic views, the cream teas that were left for us was a lovely touch, the decking area was very disappointing and in need of some upgrading, great location for visiting other areas of interest in easy reach, overall we had a great holiday and would love t go back again,

Idillic cottage with stunning views

The cottage has everything we wanted in a holiday home. Very comfortable and the views are stunning. Lovely to sit in bed with a cup of tea and look out over the sea. 10 minute walk to centre where there are numerous places to eat. We were made very welcome everywhere we went and will definitely book again next year!

Fab spot with great views. Quite a climb back from the sea front. Cosy cottage with all amenities. Could do with some new pots and pans.

Lovely stay at Old Saltys

The cottage was clean and comfortable and had everything you needed for your stay. The view was wonderful. The location was good for us, its a good hill back up if you want to walk into Westward Ho, takes about 15 - 20 mins. We travelled to Port Isaac, Saunton Sands, Appleby, Croyde Bay all within wasy reach. My only complaint would be the patio furniture, its well overdue a rub down and varnish or to be replaced.

Beautiful

The house was stunning. Lovely kitchen with everything that you could need. Beds very comfortable. Shower is amazing! The extras we got from the brilliant hosts, were very much a welcom on arrival and we would recommend getting there breakfast tray. Beautiful quality!! All topped off with views to die for!!! Will be back for sure!!

Steep hill to rear of property, only room for one vehicle as neighbours need access at all times, cleanliness fair cobwebs everywhere, washing left in machine, outside decking furniture and steps down to the garden rotting and needs replacing, bed mattresses uncomfortable beds and duvets felt damp when you got into them, sofas in the lounge extremely uncomfortable, small lamp broken, wii did not work all discs very badly scratched board games were either broken or had no batteries in or pieces missing. If your going to advertise facilities that are provided they need to be in working order, comfortable and a good standard

Beautiful view

The communication from Adrian was brilliant and the welcome scones were a lovely touch. The view from the deck was beautiful (even with the horrendous weather!). The cottage is very tired and in need of updating (broken blinds, very old uncomfortable sofa, extremely small shower, not enough seating for 6 people outside) but it was clean and beds were fairly comfortable. Although the listing says 10 mins to beach there are restrictions for dogs and it’s more like 30 mins walk (10 min drive) to a section of the beach you can walk your dog on. This was disappointing as it was one of our requirements to have a beach to walk the dogs on within 10 min walk of the accommodation. I guess we should have looked it up but would be useful information to add to the listing. As the weather was so bad we spent more time in the cottage than we thought we would which meant we probably noticed more of its faults than we would have done if we could have enjoyed the outside! Overall a good location to explore the area but not to enjoy dog walking on beach nearby. Comfortable (if a bit tired) and good value for money given the price of other properties in the area. Communication from owner very good 😊

Stunning views

Beautiful cottage, very clean and well equipped. The views are stunning of the sea and coastline. Bed was very comfortable shower was good. Wonderful welcome pack of scones, gorgeous jam and cream, apple juice, milk and wine, thank you. The weather was kind to us, we had a lovely week.

Amazing view

The view really is what makes this property, it was so lovely to open the curtains and to be able to see so far into the distance. We were comfortable and had everything we needed. It was peaceful and quiet at night and during the day.

Quaint and lovely stone cottage with the most fabulous picturesque views over the ocean. Everything you need for a family home style holiday. Fabulous friendly hosts quick to respond to any queries. cottage was clean and bright and welcoming. Lovely and quiet location with sounds of the sea. Short walk to all the local amenities in westward ho which is a fabulous seaside resort Loved our stay is this cottage and have already booked for next year. 100% recommend

Absolutely Fabulous. Fantastic views from decking. house was perfect. Neighbours very nice. Westward Ho is beautiful the boys loved the beach. 2 and 4year olds. Would love to return.

Just breathtaking

I had so many plans to visit other places in Devon and we stayed in Westward Ho the entire week. The property was amazing, well maintained, had a great living space and more importantly amazing views and you could hear the waves from the veranda. Parking and manoeuvring the car was no issue and we loved every second in the house and the town. Beautiful and completely dog friendly with enclosed, safe garden. Quiet neighbourhood. Just perfect thanks

Great property, well located and nice and peaceful yet near to places of interest and shops, also "Rasher" and "Evie" certainly enjoyed themselves on the nearby beach, Trish and Graham will be going back.

Offering great views down to the long sandy beach of Bideford Bay across the Torridge estuary, towards Saunton and Baggy Point. Some aspects look out towards Lundy Island. Ideally placed for strolling to the beach with your bucket and spade or enjoying a Devon cream tea at The Rockpool Cafe in the village, all the amenities are just a 10 minute walk away (please note there are steep hills).Perfect for touring North Devon, the market town of Bideford is a 5 minutes' drive and is home to the Oldenburg for day trips to Lundy Island. Other attractions well worth a visit include Clovelly, with its cobbled street, The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, Dartington Crystal, RHS Rosemoor Gardens and much more. Walkers will be spoilt with some of Devon's best cliff-top walks from the village as well as Northam Burrows, which is a haven for wildlife. The light and airy accommodation offers THREE bedrooms: situated on the first floor,1 king-size and 1 bunk bedroom. 1 twin situated on the ground floor accessed by a short flight of steps. Bathroom: bath with WC. Shower room: with WC. Lounge: with TV/DVD and french doors out to balcony with superb sea views. Kitchen/diner: with electric cooker, gas hob, washing machine, fridge, separate freezer, microwave and CD/radio with iPod dock. Outside: large, raised decked area with garden furniture and BBQ with wooden steps leading down to a lawn area, all having sea views. Amenities: private driveway with parking for 2 vehicles (also provides access to neighbouring property). Bed linen and duvets are included plus there's a few extra blankets in the wardrobes, towels, electric and central heating included. There is a baby travel cot, highchair and stair safety gate under the stairs. Regret no smoking. Well behaved pets welcome. Stairgate provided.
