Superb and spacious apartment next to St. James's Park Underground in the heart of London, very close to the beautiful St. James's Park gardens and Buckingham Palace. An amazing location and a quiet secluded base from which to explore the best sites of London or just wander and relax in the Royal Parks.

A spacious modern apartment with separate kitchen, living dining room, large bathroom, king sized bedroom and luxury sofa bed within the living room. Situated on second floor with a building lift.

A fabulous location nestled between Victoria and Westminster, known as Petty France. Just two stops away on the tube you will find Sloane Square and King's Road for the ultimate Chelsea shopping and dining experience. Alternatively head north with Oxford Street and China Town about 20 mins away by foot. Walk across St. James's Park admiring the gorgeous flower borders, head up past Trafalgar Square home to the National Gallery and you are right in the heart of London, head to your choice of Soho, Covent Garden, or even check out swish Mayfair.

Closer to home, literally at the end of the road there is Parliament Square, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey. There are loads of hidden treasures within historic Westminster itself for you to explore including bags of culture at Tate Britain.

The 3 main Royal Parks are all connected so explore them all from St. James's Park. Buckingham Palace is literally only 600m away from your flat! Did I forget to mention the Horse Guards Parade, Whitehall and Downing Street even closer, at the other end of St. James’s Park.

There are a few fine dining experiences in the local area with Roux at Parliament Square and The Cinnamon Club and A. Wong very close by. There are also plenty of places where you may find an MP having their lunch. A great place to start would be Gordon's Wine Bar at Embankment with candlelit vaulted cellars.

Victoria has an expanding number of restaurants and eateries with the new Nova Building complex providing a host of independent bars and restaurants, and the Victoria Market Hall the latest addition for an eclectic mix of modern street food.
Walk over Westminster Bridge to the South Bank a trendy hang out with food markets, skate parks, book stalls, London Aquarium, the London Eye, and much more.

For the more adventurous you will even find activities on the Thames itself, dingy sailing and Kayaking tours at places like the Westminster Boating Base.

Very nice stay!

We were pleased with the extra amenities provided by our host. Very conveniently located next to St James Park tube entrances and shops nearby, easy walks to many attractions. Much larger than we expected even though the rooms were pictured. We’ll definitely return next time we’re in London!

Super location, comfortable accomodation

I completely enjoyed our stay at this property. The apartment is streamlined and functional. The online photos represent it very well. It is conveniently located near to the Underground, restaurants, groceries, and shopping. I was impressed that it was well stocked with house staples making it very easy to settle in. There are a number of interesting restaurants within walking distance as well as a bakery practically next door. The aroma of baking is almost as good as the baked goods (sweet and savory) themselves. The host provided detailed information and was very attentive giving quick responses to questions throughout the entire process. It was a pleasure working with him.

Location is perfect and easy with the tube, attention to every small detail making the stay more comfortable throughout the Flat, immediate response from host throughout the day. We will definitely be back!

Great location

This apartment was our safe haven from the busy city. So very convenient. The underground is super close and a bakery & convenience store almost directly underneath! It was quiet and roomy. We enjoyed our stay here. We really needed a washer/dryer after being on a cruise for 2 weeks, and found that the washer was excellent, but there is no dryer machine. (the dryer is drying racks). One other note, The listing says "king size bed", but the bed was not a USA king size, it was equivalent to a USA queen.

Perfect spot in London!

Very easy to get to all the sites in Central London, just 100 yards to the Central & District line tube at St James’ station. But, no train rumble and very quiet area, to be in the middle of London. We walked to a lot of the places, and bought an Oyster card for everything else. Great bed, TV, kitchen and plenty of hot water and pressure in the bathroom! Would highly recommend for individuals and couples!

We loved the location, spaciousness and amazing amenities that really made it feel like home! Wonderful place!

We had a 3 and 7-year-old with us, and this was the perfect place. It is just a few steps from the underground station, which made everything infinitely easier. The unit was clean, the elevator worked well, and it was exactly as advertised. They had plenty of coffee, extra paper towels, etc. on hand. The host was very communicative and offered to have the unit ready when we thought we might arrive before check-in time. The bed is on the firmer side. My kids loved the couch bed (and the soft blankets that were provided). It is located in the middle of the city, so there is noise from outside. We had the windows open the whole time for air so not sure if it is quiet if you shut them. It did not bother us as we are not light sleepers. A wonderful, central location with everything you need!

Great sightseeing base for London

This comfortable flat is perfectly located for seeing London's prime tourist spots and is literally steps from the St James Park Underground station for venturing farther afield. The neighborhood is bustling with tourists and office workers during the day, but quiets down in the evenings and we found it easy to sleep - just the occasional car alarm, also the smell of croissants baking at the bakery around the corner can be disruptive - but not in a bad way! We really enjoyed how close it is to the park. The flat has pretty much everything you might need, even goose food, which I had fun feeding the park geese with! Sam was very responsive and gave excellent directions for getting into the flat. Note if you're staying on a weekend - a lot of the bars and restaurants right around the apartment are closed, and even the closest gate to the Underground. Weekdays are a lot more lively.

Great place

Perfect for our needs. Apartment was very clean, had everything we needed. Great location - St James tube stop is steps down the street and beautiful St James park is also a close walk. We were able to get around very easily. Groceries and restaurants also very close. Sam was very easy to communicate with.

Stay here. . .you won’t regret it!

Clean! Well-equipped and in good repair! Larger than expected with plenty of storage for clothes, food, etc. Excellent location: Buckingham Palace, Horse Guards Parade, 10 Downing St, Churchill War Rooms, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Thames riverfront, London Eye all within 1 mile walking distance! St James tube very nearby, but has no lift so be aware that if you have luggage you’ll have to carry it up several flights of steps (or get off at Victoria station and take a cab from there). Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect spot in London

This is a great apt to rent in London. You can walk to many sites, parks, restaurants, and pubs and the Tube is just steps away for longer journeys into the city. Sam was very responsive to our questions and needs. Highly recommend!

Spacious, clean and convenient!

This property has everything you could need for your visit to London. Westminster Abbey, Big Ben and Buckingham Palace are all within an easy walking distance, and this location is right next to the St. James Park tube station for further adventures. A convenience store, bakery and three coffee shops are on the same block as the property, as well as many restaurants close by. It was a quiet neighborhood too and I felt safe. The flat itself was comfortable and spacious, with large rooms and tall ceilings. I especially appreciated the windows and light interior within the apartment to combat the cloudy skies outside. The space was well-appointed with amenities that are helpful for travelers. We utilized the washing machine and drying racks, as well as the provided hair dryer. The building elevator to access the flat was especially helpful when traveling with luggage. Lastly, Sam was an excellent communicator and I can't thank him enough for providing such a lovely space for us to stay in London.

Wonderful apartment

We loved our stay here. Our hosts were kind and thoughtful. They answered my questions through the app quickly. The apartment is beautiful and spacious. It is very centrally located in Westminster near Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Parliament Square, and Buckingham palace. We loved our stay here. I would definitely recommend this as a five-star rental.
