2 BR refurbishhed penthouse - Sloane Square Chelsea

This 60 square meter (640 square feet) two-bedroom one-bathroom penthouse is located in a charming Chelsea small building looking like a townhouse, steps from Sloane Square in Kensington & Chelsea, close to Knightsbridge (Harrods), the Thames and Hyde Park. The house is found on one the most prestigious addresses of London.

This flat was fully renovated this year by an interior designer using the finest materials and finishes, including a top of the line made-to-measure kitchen with Lacanche stove, marble countertops, oak floors, Pierre Frey textiles and wall papers, custom wood cabinets and luxurious bathrooms finished with Horus faucets. There is air conditioning in the living room strong enough to cool the entire flat.

This unit faces full west and the living room is flooded with sunshine all afternoon until sunset (which occurs around 10pm in the summer!) The bedrooms are very quiet (new double glazed windows) facing a quiet street, which is minimal traffic.

It can sleep up to 4 people. Please note that the second bedroom has a trundle bed.

This apartment is ideally situated in the middle of all the best London has to offer! The closest metro stops is Sloane Square, 5 minutes walk, and South Kensington, 10 minutes walk from the apartment.

TrĂšs bel appartement sur Chelsea

Nous avons passé une trÚs bonne semaine dans ce bel appartement entiÚrement rénové dans un quartier trÚs calme et sécurisé de Chelsea, proche des magasins et des transports (tres facile de trouver des taxis à toute heure). Environnement trÚs agréable et appartement impeccable.

We (my husband, me, 15 year old daughter) stayed here this past week and found it to be exactly what we hoped. The location is quiet and charming, yet in under 5 minutes you can be at lots of coffee shops/restaurants/tube and bus stops. Specifically- being so close to Sloane Square tube station was a huge convenience. The apartment itself was lovely - beautifully decorated, comfortable, and with everything we needed. The elevator was especially nice when we were coming/going with our luggage as the apartment is on the top floor - which makes for great balcony views btw! Check in and check out were clear and easy and we had communication before our stay that helped me know exactly what to expect. Very grateful to have found this apartment! I’d stay here again in a heartbeat and sharing the spot with friends!

I just enjoyed a wonderful week-long stay in this flat which was EXACTLY what I was looking for and more! It was clean, spacious, stylish and fully appointed. It was located in a beautiful, quiet residential neighborhood steps away from fantastic restaurants and shops, with easy access to the tube and several bus stations. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe walking around this neighborhood which was very important to me in choosing an apartment. The property owner and manager were both very quick to reply and assist with any questions. I cannot wait to return!

Our family had a great stay, and enjoyed the quiet flat while so close to the bustling neighborhood, shops, tube stop and restaurants nearby. Two grocery stores including a new Whole Foods were just minutes from the door, and the tube was about a 7 minute walk away. We enjoyed having the comfortable living area and kitchen with everything needed for a nice breakfast each day before sightseeing. The bedrooms had plenty of storage space and were quiet for sleeping. The flat was spotless and our hosts offered recommendations as well as detailed instructions for operating everything in the flat from the washer/dryer and dishwasher along with the air conditioner. We appreciated the lift so that we did not have to lug our suitcases upstairs. Overall, a great home base to explore London!

Lovely apartment in a great location

We stayed here for a week (2 adults and one 12 yr old) and loved it. The apartment is nice, clean, sunny, and well-outfitted, and the location is great. It is in a nice, quiet neighborhood (literally no noise at night) within easy walking distance to the underground. Check in/out was super easy and the host was great. Would definitely recommend it.

Awesome location

The apt was lovely. The second bedroom was a little bit of a squeeze but was big enough. The property owner had given us the heads up. We were able to leave our luggage at the apt the day of our departure which was super helpful. We were close to restaurants and the tube! We really enjoyed our stay

Not what we expected

The positives first. The apartment is beautifully furnished and is in a convenient location close to the Kings Road in Chelsea. Unfortunately I had a miss communication with the owner and the keys to open the apartment were hard to obtain. In the end I had to climb over garbage bags in the pouring rain to get to a lock box to get the keys to open the doors. Once we entered the building we were met with bags of building materials piled up in the hallway. We took the lift to the 4th floor, only to find out that the apartment directly beside us was under renovation. We could hear the hammers, the buzz saw and the chatting. The apartment had no heat as boiler was malfunctioning, The owner walked me through how to put water back in the boiler so that we could have heat. I had to fill up the water level every four hours or the boiler would turn off. It was cold and damp outside, so the heat was very important. Every time we turned on a tap or filled the boiler we heard a terrible loud noise. It was caused by a pump, that was pumping the water up to the fourth floor. The owner excused this problem because the apartment is on the 4th floor and is an old building. Rubbish, I have lived in London for 12 years in much older and taller houses and never had this problem. A maid was supposed to show up twice during our stay and she never showed. The trash bin on the balcony was full of garbage and I had no where for trash. Fix these prob lems and I would give this a five+.

Wonderful London home-base

We stayed at this property for ten days and it was an ideal location. The area has a real neighborhood feel, with plenty of shops and restaurants. It was a 5-10 minute walk to the tube station. We appreciated the cleanliness of the flat and the fact that the building has an elevator. The beds were comfortable and the place surprised us for how quiet it was at night. We had a few questions throughout our stay and the Host was helpful and quick to respond.

Chelsea Stay

This is an ideal spot for a Chelsea stay. I liked the view from the living area windows on the rainy mornings. The apt is compact, but reasonable laid out. Close to many restaurants and pubs. It's also close to the Sloane Square tube station and bus stops, so we had no trouble getting around London.

Location is perfect.

First and foremost, this is the perfect location. 3 min walk from Kings Road, which gives you access to restaurants, shops and more. It’s super close to the museums in South Kensington. The flat is clean and the owner is responsive to questions. The flat is quiet despite it being so close to major road (tucked away in a quiet residential street).

Beautiful central spot for our family visit to London

This flat is a perfect fit for a family of four. With the trundle bed in the second room, our girls had their own space for resting after a long day of sightseeing and visiting with friends. The apartment is well appointed with everything you need and the location can’t be beat. We had only minor questions when there but the owners were very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend! We will stay again next time.

Perfect Location

We loved our location and stay. Such a short walk to the Underground and all restaurants, shops and stores we needed. It was the hottest week of the year in London and the AC kept up well. The communication with owners was quick and easy. Definitely recommend.
