Belle Vue, Napoleons Landing is a contemporary, three-bedroom waterfront apartment, located on the seventh floor with panoramic views of Sandown and Shanklin Bay. The apartment has an open layout with sea views from the kitchen/dining room, living room, master bedroom and balcony making it the perfect coastal retreat with a view of the sandy beach and the passing ships and cruise liners on the horizon. The kitchen/dining room is well-equipped, with a contemporary finish and plenty of seating with the option to enjoy your morning coffee at the breakfast bar or have a leisurely breakfast at the dining table.

LOCATION:

Glorious Sandown Bay is on your doorstep, and voted one of the Island’s best beaches, providing a long stretch of sand and great swimming waters. Along this stretch you can see the red sandstone through to the white chalk of Culver cliff, and it is around here that fossil remains can be found. Sandham Garden’s play area is just across the road from the apartment with go karting sky nets and crazy golf and children’s play area. A short flat walk further along towards Yaverland, and you will also find the Wild Heart Animal Sanctuary formerly the isle of Wight Zoo, famous for its big cats. The town of Sandown is brimming with attractions to entertain visitors, most of them right on the beach front itself, so you never have to stray too far from the golden sands. Should you enjoy a coastal walk, you can walk the length of Sandown Bay from Yaverland past the Pier along the seaside revetment all the way to the popular neighbouring town of Shanklin. If you are keen on an active holiday, the bay is hugely popular with water-sports, and you’ll certainly see people paddle boarding, surfing, catamaran and dingy sailing, windsurfing and kite surfing, depending on the weather.

Bedroom 1: zip and link super king size bed (can be twin beds on request), large wardrobes and en-suite
En-suite: shower cubicle, wash basin and toilet
Bedroom 2: zip and link king size bed (can be 2ft 6in twin beds on request), with side tables.
Bedroom 3: double bed and side tables.
Bathroom: bath with overhead shower, wash basin and toilet

ADDITIONAL CHARGES / SERVICES:

PLEASE NOTE: a pre-authorised, refundable, security deposit of £150 will be required before arrival at the property. No money will be taken, unless any damage is reported at the property within 14 days of your departure.

There is no electric car charger on site and guests are prohibited from using the mains electric in the property to charge a car, unless agreed prior with the owner of the property. If it becomes apparent a car is being charged without approval, then the guest may be charged an additional amount to cover the extra cost. OR

Fantastic!

Spacious, light, airy apartment. Spotlessly clean. Wonderful view of the sea. Right on the beach. Places to visit within walking distance i.e Dinosaur Island . More kitchen utensils for cooking would be helpful. Maybe laying carpet in the hall would lessen the sound of the kids running around which annoyed the neighbour downstairs.

Great location

Great location with private parking. The sea view from the apartment is amazing and peaceful. Everything you could need inside. The fridge wasn't working properly. All our food was frozen and we had to throw most of it out. The TV keeps buffering which was annoying.

Amazing place to stay. Perfect for beach

This is the best place I have ever stayed in. It's absolutely stunning, clean, beautiful views over the sea, parking on site, close to shops in sandown and lovely beachfront walk to shanklin. Perfect for what we wanted. Will be booking here again for next summer when dates become available. Highly recommend this property. Everything was clean and as you would expect. Modern decor, It was perfect for us.

Was a perfect stay. The apartment has everything you need, is spacious and the location is amazing. Spent most evenings on the balcony watching the tide roll inout. Close to everything in Sandown and the beach right outside the apartment block was less busy then the ones the other side of the pier so was great to be able to run straight down there. Would highly recommend

Excellent apartment

This is a very modern, clean and spacious apartment with a great view from the balcony. The apartment is well kitted out and has spare items (such as light bulbs etc) if you should need it. All the furniture looks new and well kept and there is plenty of seating including on the balcony. Would definitely consider returning to this apartment, however work in needed in the town itself.

My family and I rented the apartment for easter week. It was brilliant in every sense. The management company were excellent from beginning to end and were exceptionally helpful throughout. The apartment was very clean when we arrived. The kitchen was beautiful and well equipped and we put it to good use. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we would love to return in the future. Thank you

Our comments on Belle Vue.

Lovely modern spacious apartment, well equipped, everything you need for a holiday. Great views of The Bay! Good to have Wi Fi. Found no problem parking our car in the secure parking space. HOWEVER….. On arrival unpleasant smell in the apartment the cause of this was dead roses in a vase in the kitchen. These had been there a while as the water had evaporated. Out of date carton of milk in fridge. Not a good welcome pack! Had problems setting up the TV in lounge area, phoned the out of office phone number, NO REPLY. In the end sorted the problem ourselves, although TV is affected by weather, sometimes no picture. Freezer needs defrosting as drawers difficult to open. Need better quality tea towels. Main bathroom extractor fan not working, bathroom light switch needs attention. En-suite shower base was very slippery. First time my husband used the shower he slipped, this could have been due to the cleaning products as it was alright after first use. Would suggest a grab handle and shower basket for gels/soap be fitted. Don’t let our comments put you off. This is a beautiful apartment in a wonderful location and we highly recommended it!

We had 4 nights away with longstanding friends and we were extremely pleased with the accommodation. Spacious, comfortable, extremely well kitted out and nicely decorated with some great artwork. Fab views from the the huge windows, 7 floors up. Yes, parking is tight especially with a big Honda SUV, but conveniently close, Some great walks from the apartment and good places to eat and drink.

Awful - as a lovely stay the first time

I waited a week after I got home to write this review, as I wanted to cool firstly – I am still very angry! This is our second stay in your apartment this summer and what a marked difference (and in no way is this a good way). Where to start? • Half-drunk milk in the fridge from the previous holiday makers – not a great find! Yuck! • Dirty plates (main and side plates) and dirty mugs in the cupboards, interspersed with what looked like possibly clean plates – we are not talking dried on food from the dishwasher, we are talking about smeared on grease and crumbs and greasy crumb finger prints. Obviously, we had to wash every dish, cutlery and glassware in the apartment, as there was no trust now that any of it was clean… • Heinous smell from the kitchen floor when we arrived, which looked like half the water from last week’s tall flower vase (that ponged and there was a large amount of water on the kitchen floor – there should have been no way on earth that the cleaner would miss this) • Then we find in the bedrooms little signs saying if the bedding is not used to leave the sign on the bed to save washing…! Yes, great for the environment and saves costs for the owners – BUT we are still in a global COVID Pandemic. Previous holiday makers may not have slept on the beds, but they might have put their suitcases on them, coughed in the room, put their used clothes on these beds… who knows? This is a rubbish idea in a Pandemic In short, we did not feel relaxed in a dirty apartment – we could not be more disappointed This is a real shame, as this has been a lovely apartment and location – but you have really been let down by your cleaners and your policy of reusing bed linen

Positives apartment was perfect very large plenty of room , beautifully decorated, well equipped,very comfortable, high end appliances, beautiful sea views,amazing master bedroom. Negatives Mattresses extremely soft, the master bedroom mattress feels like it definitely needs replacing. safety catch on window in master bedroom,is broken, and as your on the 7th floor this is extremely dangerous if you have young children with you. Furniture on balcony, very uncomfortable Stains on both of the sofas ,really could do with a clean

Lovely property, lovely view!

This is a lovely place to stay. Well decorated and spacious. I like the fact that the owners are supporting local artists with hanging their art on the walls, this is a nice touch. It was also lovely that they had left us sunflowers on a vase in the kitchen as well as milk in the fridge - again a nice welcoming touch which was appreciated. The beds are comfortable and the sofas are really a joy to sit on too. On the whole you can say that I am a fan of this apartment. There are a couple of things worth mentioning: There are stains on both of the beautiful sofas when we arrived - looks like spilled drinks. I would have suggested that they scotch guard the sofas so that they don't get more of these stains You REALLY need some comfortable garden chairs on the balcony. They don't need to be expensive, just comfortable. The little bistro set is very cute, but not suitable for sitting and looking out to sea. The metal one is very uncomfortable and will rust. If you look up at all the apartments in this block you will see that every single one of these has garden chairs on their balconies. The view is spectacular, it would be helpful to there was something comfortable to sit on and look out the sea... Can this be remedied please? We are staying with you again at the end of August The parking was fine for us. Yes it is a little tight, but this is the way the parking was built. We have an older style Volvo and my husband is quite slim, so it was fine for us Overall a good stay - it just needs more comfortable seating on the balcony to enjoy the views, which is frankly the main reason for staying in this holiday property - get this right and people will flock back...

Fantastic apartment that we couldn't fault in any way. Spacious,comfortable, clean with everything we needed. Sea views fantastic and the weather was exceptional. We were concerned about previous reviews about the parking space but absolutely no problem for us with a medium size family car(Honda Jazz).
