The Art Studio is the perfect romantic getaway with its interior designed eclectic styling. It is tucked away in a woodland setting. Outside you can enjoy a private terrace with an outdoor kitchen & BBQ (with Pizza stone).A wood fired hot tub & a fire pit are set within its own private garden space. Gorgeous throws are provided for a romantic evening under the stars sitting around the fire pit. Inside, surrounded by original artworks, there is a big comfy king-sized bed adorned with luxury linens, a cosy lounge area with a wood burning stove for those winter nights, and a large wall mounted smart TV for movie night in front of the fire. There is an indoor kitchen & modern ensuite shower room. A bottle of wine and artisanal bread or pastries await your arrival, along with fresh milk, butter and condiments for preparing meals during your stay. Bathrobes and towels are provided for your weekend away, along with shower gel, body cream, shampoo & conditioner and a hairdryer. For your convenience there is a safe and wireless internet, along with a washing machine and tumble dryer. We welcome well behaved dogs and provide dog bowls for them during your stay. Please do get in touch as we are happy to assist with making arrangements for special occasions. Local country pubs are within walking distance or a short drive away. The Art Studio has direct access to local farmland, the forests of the East Sussex Wildlife Sussex trust, the Eridge Rocks and RSPB woodlands, perfect for enjoying beautiful walking & bicycle trails, bird watching or rock climbing. We look forward to welcoming you to our little romantic sanctuary.

Secluded haven

Took my husband for his 40th lovely relaxing stay to get away from it all. Enjoyed use of hot tub, fire pit and BBQ. Owners lovely & left some goodies for us. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect little escape

The little art studio is just amazing with stunning views all round the hosts we second to none very accommodating easy going and wonderful to chat too. The hot tub is fantastic a truly great weekend thank you Ros & Davey we will be returning in the winter see you soon

Amazing stay at The Art Studio

We had the best time during our weekend at The Art Studio. Communication with Ros was brilliant from the beginning. Ros and Daveys hospitality was the best we’ve ever experienced. Super lovely hosts that made the stay so special and we loved getting to know them. The wood fired hot tub is such a lovely touch and we enjoyed it several times over the weekend. The bed was really comfy and the walking routes are lovely. Will definitely be back.

Just perfect

Everything about this stay was just perfect. The small but perfectly formed studio has everything you need and more, from kitchen utensils for indoors and out, bedding, towels, robes... to books, games, dvds and beautiful art to admire. The setting is stunning. Sitting in the hot tub in the evening listening to the trees crack and gazing up at the sky, you'll feel very lucky indeed. Ros was wonderful. Communication and preparation second to none.

Stunning studio hidden away

Beautiful studio to stay in. The location is excellent with many forest walks on your doorstep. The nearest pub is walkable and Tunbridge Wells just up the road. For an excellent breakfast try the Deer Park Cafe and Fullers farm shop is perfect if you are planning on a BBQ. The space is teeny tiny inside but perfect with a small kitchenette, and all utensils you could need. The bed is a king size and very comfortable. We loved the inside/outside space, lovely and cool in the exceptionally hot weather and excellent in the evenings. The hot tub is fun too. Overall if you want to push the reset button this is perfect. Hosts are fantastic too.

Artist, architect and interior designer... I love all things creative. My husband and I love sailing, discovering new places and we love meeting interesting people and hearing their stories, exploring new cultures with our young adult kids, friends and family.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Why this property? In the words of a previous guest;
"What you have here is a kind of Art Batcave that has been lovingly curated by some creative people who really know what they are doing. it's super comfortable with a great bed, TV, shower, kitchenette etc. You're in the middle of a wood and we had a great evening sitting by the firepit watching the stars. Fill up the fridge and you can happily hole up there as long as you like!"
