The nest at Robins roost.

This place is a lovely picturesque place set in the beautiful gardens of our guest. We loved our stay as we did last year. This time we did a 30 minute walk to Bourton on the water down the road. Burford garden company is the place to visit ,amazing. The only thing we were a bit concerned about was finding stain on the mattress, quilt and spots of blood on the pillow when we stripped the bed. All the covers were very clean. Other than that it's a lovely place to stay.

Great stay

Lovely apartment to stay. Peaceful, relaxing and even better that we could have our dog too! Very comfy bed and the best shower. We will be booking again soon for sure!!

Perfect location for visiting the Cotswolds

The Nest is very suitable for only two persons and the location is perfect for visiting all the beautiful villages of the Cotswolds, We loved the quiet and nice place and all the useful amenities. Nearby you can start interesting walks through the beautiful countryside using a big variety of footpaths !

Lovely holiday home and excellent cats

A lovely holiday home in a charming Cotswold village. The accommodation is well-situated for access to various places of interest within the Cotswolds. The cats also make excellent hosts!

The only con was a slanting ceiling apart from that it was OK.pros were it was very clean and a comfy bed.

Peaceful Robins Nest

Cosy, peaceful property. Perfect location for exploring Cotswolds villages and attractions. Well equipped kitchen area but a tea towel and oven gloves would be a great addition. A lovely place for a base for sleeping at night and going out all day.

The perfect cosy nest!

This was our second visit to this perfect little cosy nest. Excellent location for touring the Cotswolds. Peaceful, tranquil and relaxing. Very clean and so well equipped.. Such a cosy little nest to retreat to after a day out. Our recommendations from last year were acted on, and this place is now perfect! We look forward to returning again in the future.

Lovely flat, set out nicely.

Lovely flat only problem being toilet was hard to flush, perhaps owners can check this for the next person staying. Other than that would visit again.

It's a lovely little place,everything we needed was at hand, bed was very comfy. Had abit of trouble with the telly, eventually got it going on the last night and the settee was abit uncomfortable but 2 minor things that were far outweighed by all the good things.

Beautiful location

Stayed for long weekend to attend a wedding on Sunday. Just needed somewhere to sleep as we were intending to eat out but needed somewhere that took a dog. This place was ideal. We are not very tall so larger people would struggle with its compactness and low ceilings. But for us it worked just fine. Very clean, warm and cosy. We had a lovely stay

Uncomfortable expensive Triangle accommodation

Area great, hot water, comfy bed. Couldn’t stand up properly inside. Child’s sofa. Bad parking area.

Beautiful location

The Nest is beautifully located , advertised as dog friendly but due to the owners chickens and cats were unable to allow our dog off the lead which was a bit of a nuisance. The sloping ceilings within the property made for a very cramped feel . However well furnished and pretty. Well equipped. Directly facing owners property so did nt feel private . But still enjoyed our week.

Cosy conversion

We had a lovely couple of nights at The Nest, a perfect name for this cosy little conversion for two. Nicely presented and welcoming hosts, the freshly laid eggs from the bantam hens were delicious. I would have happily extended the stay. It got a bit toasty (but we were in a heatwave) and the atelier attic-style sloping roof might not be great for the giants amongst us. As another reviewer mentioned, the sofa is extraordinarily uncomfortable (but didn't notice it so much after a bottle of wine ) and a mirror in the bedroom would be helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Review of our stay at The Nest

A great little 'nest' to retreat to at the end of the day. Very clean and tidy. Ideal location for touring the Cotswolds. Very cosy. The bed is memory foam and although it's very comfy it's not ideal for those who get very hot at night. Extremely well equipped overall, everything we needed was there. Only drawback is that the sofa is not very comfy. Property has low ceilings as you are in the roof space which can provide a height issue, but we found it very quirky. Directions and instructions given were excellent and accurate. Overall we had a fantastic stay, and will be returning.

Lovely time in the Cotswolds

Lovely place in a great location. Only had a couple of issues the first being that there was no wifi for the first 2 days, which wasn’t the owners fault however when there is also no phone signal did cause a couple of issues. However the main issue was finding 2 used tissues and other rubbish under the bed, well my puppy found them which was not good. Maybe a little bit more attention to detail on the cleaning front. Apart from that’s everything was excellent.

Thank you Tracy for your review of The Nest. Unfortunately there was a village wide outage with the internet service caused by builders accidentally digging up the cables. The property is advertised as having ok mobile service, however this does depend on your individual network. We will pass on your feedback to the property manager so they can review and take any appropriate action for the benefit of future guests. Excellent location but needs better parking

The location is fantastic and bed is super comfy. The parking is incredibly difficult to get out of and we damaged our car in the dark as they're are no lights and not enough room to turn with the owners cars parked too. The kitchen had a dishwasher which was a nice touch. The sofa was quite uncomfortable so we just sat at the table or in the bedroom. The bath was lovely but you bump your head against the wall if you use the shower. I would stay in another property by StayCotswold but not the nest as I don't want to damage my car or bump my head again!

We’re pleased that overall, you had a great stay at The Nest and found the location to be excellent and the bed super comfy. We are however sorry to hear about your car Rachel! Previous guests haven't raised any concern about the parking, however we have shared your suggestion of some lighting for the parking area with the owners. As per the pre-arrival document, there is an allocated parking space for one car on the shared driveway and if required, further free parking is available in the village. Too cramped within the slopping roof

1. Nightmare to find . No indication from road of where it was . 2 . Sofa extremely uncomfortable. Could not get cooker hob to work properly ( to stay on ) . 3 cooker hood dangerous ( glass plate on top ) .4 .shower cramped due to slope ceiling. Left early due to lots of banged heads & stubbed toes . We wouldn't recommend. . Lovely scenery and days out . Shame accommodation let holiday down .

Lovely part of the world.

We throughly enjoyed our stay in the cotswolds. The Nest at Robins Roost is in a lovely setting and had all we needed for our stay. The property was clean but slightly let down by a number of cobwebs around the lights. The bed is very comfy, however it squeaks heavily. An easy fix with an Allan key. On our last night it was very windy. Not sure if it was the tree hitting the building or something rattling in the car port underneath the property. What ever it was it was enough to cause a sleepless night. I'm not one to complain and would stay again. A few minor easy fixes needed.
