Communication was prompt and check in easy. A lovely little terrace cottage in a quiet village. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We could walk from the door down to the river for lovely walks, when it stopped raining. The villages either side had pubs that did food. Everything was nice decorated and beds comfy. Lots to do in the surrounding area.
Spectacular experience. The cottage is beautiful and spacious, and the backyard garden bordered on magical (the bunnies apparently think so, too). A perfect base for visiting Durham and Hadrianâs Wall. Owners are very friendly and generous. Hoping to come back in the near future.
Nice little cottage two doors away from the local pub. No issues with noise even with sleeping with the window open.
Parking to the front of the property which was great as being in a village parking was limited.
The owner Jordan was helpful and at the end of the phone if we had any issues, there were nice little touches around the cottage had you not done a shop before arriving. There is a Co-op down the street.
We had a lovely stay and were even lucky enough to be staying when the trains were running at the Weardale line, the station is open Wednesday and Saturdays and the station is only a 10min walk.
