Foire aux questions
Qui vous reçoit ?
Vous ĂȘtes reçu par David Thompson
Myself Dave and my wife Gillian purchased Mayfield cottage in 2015. It took a year of hard work to renovate to its current high standard however it was a labour of love. Gillian family used to own a cottage in the same village when she was young and has lots of fond memories of holidays when she was a kid. Ireshopeburn and this part of Weardale will always have a special place in our hearts. Weardale is a hidden gem and we are sure you will love it as much as we do.
Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?
We are blessed with such beautiful countryside at our door. The walking and cycling is superb and you are very quickly in the hills with some amazing views of the the Weardale valley. We are also ideally placed only 1 hour from Northumberland, 1 hour from the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. Durham, Hexham and Newcastle are all only 40 mins away by car as is the beautiful Northumberland Coast.
