This beautiful property sits within the seaside town of Tenby and in walking distance of the harbour and beach and sleeps up to five people. Having three bedrooms, one bathroom and a large lounge it is a very comfortable holiday home for either a family or group of friends. Tenby is a very pretty town with a picturesque harbour, award winning beaches and many restaurants, cafes and shops. As you enter Cambrian Cottage you have a hallway with the living room just off this with two comfy sofas, a coffee table and large flat screen TV. The kitchen sits just behind this. The kitchen has all the essentials needed to cook for you and your guests. Upstairs you will find the three bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts a double size bed. Next to this you will find the second double bedroom and then lastly the third bedroom which sleeps one in a single bed. The family bathroom consists of a bath/shower, toilet and hand basin. Cambrian Cottage has parking for one car on the adjacent street Upper Hill Park directly outside Cambrian Cottage's garage.
The positives are that itâs spacious inside and once you work out the heating itâs warm and itâs walking distance into tenby town albeit back up a very long steep hill .we were provided with milk and some welsh cakes which was lovely and there is plenty of cutlery and crockery and cooking vessels The Front door only unlocked With a lot of pulling of the door to. The tap in the kitchen is broken the bathroom is grubby and blinds are broken in main bedroom .
A comfortable and cosy property near to Tenby and local activities. Clean and tidy and sociable kitchen space. Unfortunately the log burner isn't in operation however the property suited our needs for a short stay and recommended.
The house was very let down with an overgrown garden of brambles and weeds. It didn't help that next doors garden was a tip (most of the weeds were growing through) but the garden had clearly been left so we couldn't use it as a family. The house was very shabby and needed doing up. The upstairs spare bedroom had a makeshift wardrobe which had no door, it looked thrown together. The room was half painted. The main bedroom was missing draw knobs so unusable. There weren't enough hangers. We found a dirty sock under the main bed and a blood stain on one of the quilts. The kitchen was grubby and the stools unsteady (on their last legs like most of the property) so were barely usable - my children kept tipping out of them. There was only plastic wine glasses and a mish-mash of crockery. There was no drying rack for towels or clothes, there was a tumble dryer but not everything goes in there. There was no welcome pack so we had no idea about wifi, things to do in the area, bins. I had to call the management company who came out to collect the black refuge sack - I didn't want to leave it outside as it was susceptible to seagulls. The house is on a busy road so a gate at the wall would be useful to prevent dogs/children running out. I have left a message about these issues with the property management company and it's been over 2 weeks waiting for a reply from the owner so I am having to chase. Shame this is a negative review however for the huge price we paid, I would have expected a lot more.
The property is tired and could do with a good decorating but had all we needed it was very clean and comfortable. We had no check in information and could not get into the property no response from the email they told us to use no contact phone number anywhere so had to find a phone number on the internet
