à propos de cet hébergement
LOOKOUT NORTH - 4.5 miles from Cornhill-on-Tweed, sleeping 4
Old stone buildings injected with a new style, the Lookout Cottages will fill the gap for those looking for the warmth and character of the country with some perfectly modern twists.
The Till Valley in the rural landscape of North Northumberland is an uplifting space where rolling farmland gives way to pretty villages, country pubs and meandering riverside trails.
Perfect for short breaks or longer stays, each cottage sleeps four guests giving complete flexibility for couples, families or larger groups who like the privacy of their own space but who wish to holiday together.
Subtly different, each reflects our love of open plan living, offering layouts which are spacious and sociable and bring a fresh new twist to country cottage. Subtle neutrals balanced with heritage shades and fresh ticking fabrics give a cohesive feel, while cosy relaxation spaces set around wood burners give way to light, contemporary kitchens, each enhanced by a powder grey picture window which brings the sunshine in.
Lookout North benefits from two bedrooms and two bathrooms (one en-suite), while Lookout South is a two bedroom, one bathroom cottage. Both benefit from a good-sized boot room which are perfect for wellies, outdoor kit and muddy dogs, leading out to private enclosed outdoor spaces with far reaching views and plenty of wildlife spotting opportunities.
Half an hour in one direction will take you the golden beaches of the Northumberland coast or cross the Border into Scotland where market towns, castles and grand stately homes form the rich historical tapestry of the area.
