Dunes Cottage is in a very special setting - the garden leads directly onto the dunes, which lead onto the beach. The drive has space for 2 cars - one place under a car port. It is a spacious bungalow with 3 bedrooms, all with built in wardrobes; the main bedroom with en-suite facilities. There is a family bathroom with a free standing bath and a separate shower room. The living room is very spacious, with 3 sofas and an armchair, with south facing floor to ceiling windows and access onto the patio. The kitchen is fully furnished with dinning facilities for 6 and also leads onto the patio. There is also a utility room with a washer and dryer, and more storage. The garden and patio area have dinning seating arrangements for 10 people. and then it is just a hop to the beach.
Quiet coastal area next to sand dunes and beach. Good location for visiting tourist attractions in Northumberland. Would recommend to family and friends.
En-suite toilet stained ,floor not cleaned properly, dusty.
The rest of the toilets ,not had a brush just toilet cleaner swilled around. One of the toilet seats is loose, a hazard.Food left in dishwasher.Overall the bungalow for the price you pay isnât up to standard. Wonât be returning. J Beresford.
The bungalow was only superficially clean. It was spacious and comfortable but could do with some TLC and a deep clean in the master bedroom. The heating had all been turned off and needed to be reset at each radiator. The access road is very bad and full of large potholes. Great location for the beach and surrounding area.
What an amazing location, just by the dunes with direct access on to the beach. And what a fantastic beach it is to explore as well as the harbour and lime kilns.
The house is very well equipped, clean and large. We had a fabulous time with our nearly 2 year old â our first proper family holiday thanks to Covid. We were a little nervous but it was great and we relaxed so much.
The access road was quite hard to find and not in the best state (just earth and gravel with lots of holes and very large puddles /flooding when it rains).
We stayed for 2 weeks here, we loved Beadnell and the cottage. Week two was fantastic as the sun shone and we spent it on the beach, over the dunes. Lots to do and a great location.
A lovely and well looked after property, it has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with equipment and felt like home. A fantastic location, very close to the beach and only a 15 minute walk from Beadnell village. The property manager was easily contactable and great to deal with. Already looking forward to our next trip back!
