Millstone Cottage, situé juste à l'extérieur de la belle ville historique de Bamburgh. C'est un cottage indépendant avec 2 chambres de bonne taille, une salle de bain avec une douche dans la baignoire, une cuisine salle à manger, un salon et une belle véranda donnant sur un jardin sécurisé bien entretenu et des brûlures qui coulent doucement. Il y a un parking privé à l'avant du chalet et il y a quelques marches menant à l'avant et à l'arrière du chalet. Il est situé dans le hameau rural de Waren Mill et une voiture est fortement recommandée, bien que les transports en commun soient disponibles à proximité.

Loved our stay

A perfect stay at Millstone Cottage for my husband and me. Loved the conservatory. Cottage had everything we needed and instructions were very helpful.Great proximity to the coastal walks we wanted to do. Great to have ordinance maps of the area to use. The amazing weather helped.

Great place and location

The cottage was great, directions were spot on. It was in a great area, located nicely between Bambugh and Alnwick. They provided us with some great recommendations to eat at and the conservatory was a great place to sit and enjoy the scenery.

Fantastic cottage in great location.

Blown away how lovely this cottage was. We all loved staying there. Loved the garden. My daughter loved sitting in the conservatory reading. Great location to visit places. We did holy island, Bamburgh, Alnwick, Wooler,Berwick upon tweed and Edinburgh. Brilliant week . Highly recommended. We would love to come back and stay again.

Excellent holiday house in great Location, very clean and comfortable with lovely conservatory and overlooking the burn. Would be happy to recommend. Also great for bird watching only five minute walk to Budle bay.

Fabulous, Relaxing

If you want to unwind, this is the place for you. Holy Island and Bamburgh Castle only a short drive away. Enough food options in area if you don't fancy cooking. We went to Edinburgh on train from Berwick as we thought it was going to be a wet day, it didn't rain so bunus!!

Great cottage, great location. We stayed here in the Autumn which was nice but would love to stay here in Spring/Summer so we could make use of the lovely outdoor area over looking the small Waren Burn river.

Had a very relaxing few days at this cottage, it is so peaceful & yet close to all tourist sites. The bottle of Prosecco on arrival was very nice. Excellent host, would definitely stay here again & would highly recommend.

Ideal property in quiet location.

We really enjoyed our stay. Gills property suited our needs perfectly. Lovely quiet area perfect base for golf, walking, beaches, eating out etc. Friendly and helpful neighbours. Property well laid out and had everything we needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again when we return to Northumberland.

Lovely cottage in a superb location

Very relaxing place to stay, wonderfully quiet, no traffic! Decking on riverside, looking out onto fields, sheep, hens etc. Good location for getting around. 20 min drive into Berwick, train to Edinburgh only 45 mins, great scenic train journey! Cottage really comfortable!

Excellent holiday home in a quiet lication

3rd time visiting this beautiful holiday home, idyllic setting listening to the birds and the burn at the bottom of the garden. Everything you need is provided by the owner including games and local tourist attractions. Close to the borders of Scotland and within a shirt distance of Seahouses, Bamburgh, Belford, Alnmouth and many other special places that the north east is renown for. Thoroughly recommended in all aspects of a great holiday home.

Lovely location and cottage

Very pretty cottage, has all facilities needed for self catering holiday. Back garden location next to river is very picturesque and ideal for relaxing. Cottage was very clean and comfortable. Front a little cramped for parking but not really an issue. Great location for accessing beach and local restaurants in Seahoues and Bamburgh. Overall lovely cottage and area would definitely recommend.

Place for reflection

Excellent cottage in a quiet but not remote area. Everything you wanted in and outside the cottage and all Covid safe. Good practices to ensure our safety. An ideal place to reflect, relax, replenish and enjoy a beautiful area of UK. Something for everyone to enjoy.

super bungalow with garden & conservatory

We were so lucky with the weather - we had a bright and sunny week in Northumberland. As such, we spent most of our time in the bungalow in the conservatory and garden, which were just lovely. I watered a few new plants which were struggling in the heat... it was just like a home from home :-) Fab location as well. Handy to get anywhere. Would definitely recommend!

We are Gill and Gordon. Our beautiful cottage has been in our family for the past 19 years and we have enjoyed holidaying every year with our kids at this magical place on the Northumbrian Coast.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We have family connections in Northumberland so this has been an ideal base for visiting family while enjoying a relaxing holiday in the most beautiful surroundings. We love the rural setting but also enjoy being close enough to the surrounding towns and villages where we can appreciate good food, the stunning coastline and also the history which Northumberland is famous for from the story of Grace Darling, to the monks of Lindisfarne and onto the spectacular Bamburgh Castle which you can't fail to be impressed by. We love to walk whether it be along the beach, or further inland to the crags above Belford, St Cuthberts cave or the beautiful Langleeford just outside Wooler and all within a 20 minute drive from our cottage.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Millstone cottage is set within a small hamlet, there is private parking, a beautiful flowing burn which runs past the back garden and from where you can enjoy a spot of fishing and here is where you may also spot the spectacular Kingfisher. We are located on Budle Bay which is a very popular spot for bird watchers and from here you can begin your walk along the coastline which will take you to Bamburgh then onto Seahouses
