Gorgeous property in an amazing location. Well equipped and super comfortable. 5 mins to beach a real bonus. Looking forward to our next stay. Can highly recommend. Thank you
Great property for 3 generations. Clean and well maintained with lovely garden. Easy access to fantastic beach with sand and shallow water, and we also enjoyed using the tennis court. Only niggles were not enough comfy chairs for 8 people, and we struggled with the top oven (no instructions). Lots to visit around and about with Alnwick Gardens particularly excellent.
A good size for a large family group of 3 generations. Plenty of space to relax and clean bathrooms. A very well stocked kitchen, nice garden with cute bunnies and a private path that is a short walk to the beach. Would love to stay again. We only had photos of the view from the balcony and the beach as we spent so much time outside enjoying Northumberland and Beadnell beach in particular.
We have had a wonderful family week away at this property. There were 7 adults and 3 children aged 2 and under. The property was beautifully presented and surpassed expectations with lots of extras. There was easy access to a beautiful beach, the Landing, the obligatory ice cream van and the local shop. The Craster arms had a great outdoor space; food was excellent at the sea water cafe and courtyard cafe all within walking distance. Plenty of places of interest to visit all within about 30 mins drive. Seahouses was very handy for takeaways, shopping and gifts. The Farne island trip with Serenity was enjoyable and good value for money.Thank you Kate for being an excellent host.
A nice property with an exceptionally high level of fittings and accessories. Great garden. Ideal location for beach, local shop and some nice cafes/restaurants.
We were four generations and included baby, toddler, parents, grandparents and great gran and the house and holiday were perfect for everyone!
The house is so spacious and very well equipped- we literally wanted for nothing! We made use of the buckets and spades and deckchairs for days at the beach and the space was perfect for cosy nights around the fire playing games and watching films.
Everything was spotless and, even though last week in October, the weather was so good we were on the beach every day or doing the walk to Seahouses. We also visited the local Craster Arms for lunch and made use of one of the heated huts in the garden- well with a visit! Beadnell Towers was also lovely/ we only stopped for a drink and some sharing platters after a long walk but everything was beautiful and staff so welcoming.
Ideal for visiting Bamburgh and Alnwick.
Without a doubt one of the best holiday homes weâve ever stayed in and we wouldnât hesitate to return!
We loved our stay in this beautiful house which really was a home from home. The standard of the fixtures, fittings, and appliances was outstanding and there was absolutely everything we needed for our first holiday in Northumberland. As noted by previous reviews the master bedroom on the top floor lacked storage and an outside tap would definitely reduce sandy floors but both are minor points and didnât diminish our enjoyment of this stunning house. Highly recommended!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house is well equipped with everything you could need for your stay. I've visited Beadnell since I was a child, it's a great place to bring your family and enjoy its beautiful beach and surrounding areas.
This house suited us perfectly - plenty of space for us to be together but also areas where we could escape to for some quiet time. Loved the access down to the beach.
Selection of games & jigsaws which kept us entertained when the weather wasnât favourable.
This is not a normal holiday home it is a home from home.
The house is full of quality and it is very comfortable.
We would certainly come back to this beautiful house.
With a beautiful huge unspoilt sandy beach just a couple of minutes walk. Note (A new bar on the beach is set to open shortly in September, next to the beach shack food bar). Our family of 8 loved this house and location. The house was more than big enough for us. We wanted for nothing. Some of us did the 40 minutes walk to Seahouses which has some more shops and pubs. The local pub (10 min walk) âCraster Armsâ has a great atmosphere and nice food. The local shop has all the basics you need. The location is a great base for visiting the many beautiful places in Northumberland. All the places we visited were dog friendly and my dog didnât want to come home. He loved the beach. 5 stars will be coming back again.
The house is only a short distance from the beach so ideal for families. It is well equipped so feels like home from home. We like to cook and werenât left wanting for kitchen equipment. Very good communication from Kate the owner also. Would highly recommend
The house was ideal for our family of 9, it is very well equipped and finished to a high standard. The location near the beach is fantastic and we were very lucky with the weather.
A spacious property with all mod cons. The ground floor works very well for relaxing cooking dining. Well stocked and furnished all round. The beach and coastal walks just round the corner. We did find the heating a little tricky to operate on the cooler days. Overall an excellent house for our group of seven.
A great house in a super location, everything you could possibly need overall, and a great house to gather together as a family. Could possibly do with more storage in the top floor master suite as the space would certainly allow for a chest of drawers or bigger hanging space. Fab bathroom though. Very dog friendly too and perfectly located for local walks on the beach, to Seahouses and to Low Newton.
Beautiful, spacious property. Great location close to the beach. Nice enclosed garden for our dogs. My only small criticisms/suggestions would be an outdoor water tap to clean off sandy shoes, and perhaps a small handheld vacuum to quickly clean up grass/sand which is inevitably dragged into the property from the garden, rather than having to get the 'Henry' out from the hall cupboard, but those are just a couple of very small criticisms.
Beadnell is a lovely village and base to explore the Northumberland coast, and the house was a fantastic property which we looked forward to returning to each day after our travels.
Beadnell with watersports and the stunning, wide, golden sandy beaches make it the perfect location. The beach is dog friendly. Set up your deck chairs in a sheltered spot backed by impressive dunes on the fine, golden sand - perfect for sand castle building or a spot of beach cricket. The protected waters of Beadnell Bay make it a favourite with water sports fans of all ages. Try your hand at kite surfing, kayaking or even wake boarding.
Beadnell village has a shop and three fantastic pubs (all within walking distance). The property is also an excellent base for those wanting to explore the surrounding area. Popular Seahouses is a mile away and has shops, a supermarket, restaurants etc as well as offering boat trips to the magnificent Farne Islands - a haven for bird watching. Bamburgh is close by, whilst the market town of Alnwick with its Castle and Gardens is a short drive away. There are several golf courses nearby.
