Full of character, this delightful stone cottage has been tastefully restored to offer classic country charm with excellent modern facilities.
Four spacious double bedrooms offer a great variety of sleeping options. Generous reception rooms, fabulous kitchen/diner and lots of private outdoor space make it the perfect getaway for family and friends. Great location in the heart of Embleton, close to the village shop, garage, pubs and restaurants and only 10 minutes' walk to the beach
Two large, well appointed reception rooms, both with log burners & comfy sofas.
Spacious kitchen in classic English Revival cream with granite worktops, Belfast sinks and Lacanche range cooker. Sage Barista coffee machine.
Light and airy kitchen/diner, with large painted oak farmhouse table and french doors opening onto a private patio.
Downstairs laundry/boot room with washer & dryer, plus cloakroom WC with beautiful Heritage fittings
Four generous king/superking bedrooms, tastefully furnished with Abraham Moon fabrics

Comfortable, spacious cottage in a fabulous location

We stayed in Rose Cottage (4 bedrooms) and it was perfect for our group of 6 adults. Very comfortable, cozy and warm with everything we needed. Such a great location to explore the glorious coast on foot with the bonus of a shop, buses, and places to eat on the doorstep. A highlight was the song thrush singing to us each morning and evening from a tree in the garden. Such joy. We hope to return.

Beautiful cottage in a perfect location

Rose cottage is wonderful. It has everything you need. It’s very clean with lots of space and great sized rooms. The garden is secure and fenced off all around the cottage so perfect for the dog to chill on the grass while I had a coffee. The location is perfect for walking down to the coast, past the golf course and we did this everyday. We were quite sad to leave and could have easily have stayed much longer. We’ll definitely return as it’s lovely.

Superb cottage that was perfect for a family Christmas break.

The cigar is very well appointed and warm. Very well equipped kitchen and the utility and pitch areas are great for those with dogs as allowed them to dry off before coming into the house. Good bargains and plenty hot water. Log burners were enjoyed in the evenings. This is a lovely party of the world and we will be rebooking.

Great Location and Comfortable for a large group!

The house was a great size for our family group, and dogs - comfortable, clean and cosy. We love Embleton and this was a nice quiet spot with good parking in the centre of village with good access to the beach and local shop and pub. We will be back!

Very comfortable, immaculate, dog friendly cottage in central but peaceful village location. Comfy beds and furnishings, spotless and well equipped. Loved the log burners and George promptly delivered logs for us when the weather was chilly.

Absolutely lovely, adore the cottage and the location.

The Cottage was delightful and so warm and relaxing. We all enjoyed every moment of our stay and will most certainly be back as soon as possible. The location is beautiful and has so many great restaurants, no distance from the Cottage and the sea shore is within easy walking distance.

Great stay

Super week at Rose Cottage, lovely house, immaculately clean with everything we needed. Issue with the heating on arrival but sorted really quickly thanks to George and his electrician. We’ll definitely stay again.

70th Birthday celebrated in style in this beautiful luxurious cottage

Peaceful location. Lovely garden. Homely interior with everything top quality. Big bedrooms with lovely comfortable beds. There were 4 adults in our party and we had lots of room to relax downstairs and upstairs

A wonderful serene village with plenty to do locally.

The Rose Cottages are a pleasure to stay in, well furnished, clean and tidy and with all the necessary facilities provided. George is always readily available on or near site should he be required. We have been to Embleton many times now and hope to continue doing so.
