We loved staying in the attic apartment in Sorrento! No need for a car, short walk to train, ferry and all the restaurants. Antonino was kind and supportive and always available to answer any questions we had. Absolutely wonderful experience!
This apartment is in the most perfect location in Sorento. Close to the steps leading to the port, and to shopping. Beautiful view from the rooftop deck!
The Attic rental was amazing. The highlight is the huge private balcony. We loved sitting out at night and having drinks. One full bedroom. There is a twin bed outside the main bedroom and a pull out sofa in the family room .
The Attic is in the heart of Sorrento which makes it easily walkable to many shops, restaurants and the marinas. The apartment itself is clean and well stocked. The highlight of the property is the amazing rooftop deck. There are great views and we were able to enjoy a glass of wine on it each night. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were well stocked. Communication with the owner was easy. There is no lift, so getting luggage up was a challenge. Otherwise, the steps were manageable for daily coming and going. Overall, it was a great place to stay.
My friends and I loved this Vrbo. The space was beautiful and it was very conveniently located. The terrace is amazing and was nice for hanging out on in the morning or at night after dinner with some wine. Antonino is quick to respond and is a helpful and great host. Since this is the attic there are a lot of stairs. The air conditioning works alright but we wound up just opening the windows because it wasn't that strong. I would definitely recommend this home though! We loved our time in Sorrento :)
Beautiful home base for exploring Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast
Antonioâs place is in a beautiful section of Sorrento, convenient to shops, restaurants, and the port. It was a perfect spot for our family of three. We only had two full days in the city, and on one of those we took the ferry to Positano, but it was fabulous knowing we had our rooftop terrace overlooking the city and Mount Vesuvius to come home to! Beds were comfortable. There is a double bed in a private room on the upper level and a single in the area right outside of that bedroom. Thereâs a fold out couch on the main level near the kitchen and terrace. And, there are two bathrooms, which is handy. Towels and linens are hotel quality. Antonio doesnât speak much English, but we communicated easily in Italian through the VRBO messaging by running everything through Google translate. The only downside (for some) is that there is no lift. The apartment and the amazing views are well-earned by walking up the four and a half flights of stairs. We pack light - only what we can carry ourselves - and that first trip up the stairs was memorable, but each trip up and down afterwards just became the norm. We will be recommending The Attic to our friends back home!
This apartment is conveniently located in the heart of Sorrento, just a few minutes walk to anywhere in town. My kids did not love waking to the church bells outside their window each morning, but the top floor terrace views are spectacular all hours of the day! The stairs to the apartment were no joke, however, the AC in the unit made up for the stair climb and saved us on the swelteringly hot days we stayed there. The apartment had everything we needed to eat breakfast there, wash our clothes and sleep at night.
It was difficult to plan and communicate about check in because we did not have cell service and only had access to wifi when we were in the apartment or in some restaurants. The Internet wifi of the apartment went out on 2 of the 5 days we were there and we had to find a wifi connection to contact the owner multiple times during our stay. He fixed the wifi, and responded to WhatsApp and phone calls promptly, it was just inconvenient to have to fix wifi multiple times during our 6 night stay.
The listing does not clearly state that the price per night is for 2 people. Even though the apartment can sleep 5, there is an additional per person charge per night, so look closely at the final cost - not only the price per night that is listed.
We would consider staying there again in the future :)
Wonderful location with a fabulous rooftop deck. The attic lived up to its name with a spectacular view from the large rooftop patio but be aware that you need to climb 88 steps up to the main living area. Nice kitchenette with gas stove and a small fridge with a seperate freezer. The couch has a pull- out bed which serves as the 2nd bed. We found the top floor bedroom very comfortable. 2 bathrooms were fine but tight for showering. Overall very nice in a great central location.
The name of the property is The Attic, and though as the host Antonino said - there are âmanyâ steps up to the apartment ( something that should be kept in mind for those with physical limitations), there was nothing about the property that was anything less than spectacular and spacious! Upon arrival, we were greeted with stunning views of the surrounding mountains, Mount Vesuvius, the Tyrrhenian Sea and downtown Sorrento. We enjoyed these views from a private balcony appointed with comfortable seating. The apartment itself had everything we could ask for from a quaint kitchenette stocked with all the appliances and kitchenware to allow for an at home meal- which we did! The rooms and bathrooms ( two each, not 4 as the listing states) were comfortable, spacious and clean. The upstairs bedroom was a private room with a connecting bonus room with a comfy bed and a charming bathroom. On the main level there was a pull out couch that slept two with an additional bathroom that had a washing machine. In the Italian way, we hung our laundry out to dry! The host was do gracious and was available at any time for any need. This property is a true 5 star listing!
The apartment was amazing and perfect place for us two 22,24 y/o daughters. It was clean, modern kitchen and bathrooms. We didnât mind sharing the one shower . The deck was very large with spectacular views of the ocean ,Mt Vesuvius and city lights on the mountain side at night . We wanted to spend most of our time there ! Antonino was so accommodating and very accessible for any questions or problems. And our location the best Iâve ever stayed - we could walk to Pizza Tasso, all the nightlife and restaurants, the port , the beach and the bus/train station. It was perfect ! Can wait to stay there again !!
We loved out stay here, very comfortable and you canât beat the view from the terrace. In the heart of everything in old town and short walk to the port and train.
