Casa Rossella is a modern and comfortable apartment located in the heart of the historic center of Sorrento in a pedestrian area with everything you may need during your stay just few steps from the house.Casa Rossella is so close to the small fishing village of Marina Grande full of excellent restaurants where you can taste a large variety of local fish dishes and from where on sunny day we fairly recommend you to book a private boat tour to the Isle of Capri to make memorable your vacation in Sorrento.This rent apartment indeed is located in such a convenient position in order to quickly walk to the train station, the bus terminal and the port; it therefore becomes extremely easy to go and visit the nearby holiday resorts of Pompeii, Herculaneum and Naples or the Amalfi Coast; for the latter we highly recommend booking a private car for a full day along the coast strolling in the enchanting villages of Positano, Amalfi and Ravello and escorted by an English speaking driver.Casa Rossella is located on the first floor of a historic building and lays on two floors; on the lower floor you find a large living room with comfortable sofas and a flat screen TV, a dining area with table and chairs, a fully equipped kitchen with four gas burners, a fridge, a freezer, an oven and a microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and all the useful accessories for cooking. Still on the lower floor there is a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.Upstairs there is a bedroom with two separate beds and a bathroom with shower. Casa Rossella is equipped with air conditioning and Wi-Fi.We do recommend our guests not to book a car; this vacation rental apartment is so centrally located that makes the use of a car absolutely unnecessary.Should you come by car anyway there is a private parking at approximately 5 minutes walking from the house at the cost of €25 per night.Important informations:Rental Rules:A 30% deposit is required upon confirmation. The final balance is due within 30 days prior to the arrival date.

Loved our recent stay in Sorrento! The apartment was great and just as described. Wonderful location to walk anywhere around Sorrento. It is a little loud at night especially if the area is busy. We loved our stay here and would absolutely recommend staying here.

Beautiful Property in a Perfect Location

The property was exactly as pictured. Plenty of space for our family. Kitchen was well equipped. The location was perfect for wandering around Sorrento!

Great location in Sorrento, cool place to stay, plenty of space for us and our two kids. Easy communications with the property owner/host, easy check-in (person met us at the front door to go over everything) and check out. The only thing that could potentially be improved is a new mattress in the primary bedroom. It was ok, just not incredibly comfortable. Otherwise it was a great place, the host was great and quick to respond to messages, would definitely stay there again.

Spacious place for 4 adults; especially with two bathrooms. Quiet and clean and wonderful location. Communication was excellent. No complaints!

Could not ask for a better location! Close to restaurants, not far from a grocery store, shopping everywhere. Manager was on property when we got there, arrange drivers, responded quickly to all communication.

Fantastic location!

This space is located in the centre of everything! It’s an easy walk to access (no major stairs) and is close to the water, stores and many restaurants. It offers a lot of space and was clean. Easy communication with hosts and check in went smoothly. I highly recommend Casa Rossella as a great place to stay when visiting beautiful Sorrento!

Our first trip to Italy (from US, Alaska), This property is in a great area of Sorrento. The streets are quiet, lots of great restaurants, shopping, and sights to see.

We fully enjoyed our time in Sorrento and our accommodations played a big roll in that. Great host who was so helpful and had great communication. Excellent location in the center of town as well.

Wonderful property and PERFECT location!!

This property is perfect for a stay in Sorrento! It's comfortable, clean and spacious. The A/C was great, property managers were very kind and communicative. Check in was easy. The location was amazing! In the historic center, literally in the middle of tons of wonderful restaurants and shops. 2 minute walk to the downtown center, a few minutes to the lift (which brings you right to the ferries and beach clubs). HIGHLY recommend! We will be staying here again when we come back to Sorrento.

Great location

The apartment was directly in the center of town and an easy 5 minute walk from the local town parking lot just off the Main Street in Sorrento. Davide was very communicative and helpful and even arranged a boat trip to Capri for me and my family that was the highlight of our stay. The apartment was excellent and also had great AC for the hot weather. Must stay location.

Perfect in So Many Ways

The location was perfect. The apartment sits in the heart of the beautiful city of Sorrento, with just under a 10 minute walk from the train station and a 5 minute walk to the pier to catch a boat. Both hosts were extremely helpful and easy to communicate via texts. The apartment was spit spot clean with modern bathrooms. I am sort of a shower princess and the downstairs shower did not disappoint. I loved it. It was definitely the best shower I have had in the past 9 days.

Excellent host at centrally located property

Davide was a great host. Communication was excellent and check in was perfect. The property was exactly as described and a wonderful space for our family of 4. The location is PERFECT to explore old town Sorrento but be aware that you may need to carry/drag your bags a few blocks to get there depending on the time you arrive/depart. The heating/AC were very effective to maintain comfortable temperatures. We had a few minor maintenance incidents but Davide handled things quickly and they didn’t impact our stay. The 1st floor property has big windows and balconies to enjoy the fresh air and street life below, but they don’t seal well so it’s quite drafty and noisy even in the off season like when we were there. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if we plan another visit to Sorrento.

Incredible apartment and location

This is a very nice property in the perfect location. The apartment is large and airy and has everything you could ask for. We used Sorrento as a home base to explore around the city and the Amalfi Coast towns. It worked very well. Davide met us to check us in and give us information. The apartment is right in the historic district so was close to everything but never did we have a noise problem. We did have a health issue which he helped us solve, plus he gave us great information on local restaurants. We have no complaints, just superlatives to describe our time in Sorrento and in his apartment. If you are looking for a great Sorrento "home" this is definitely the place. We were there eleven days and would have liked even more. Tom and Jane

Limited hot water

Although the apartment is located in the center of Sorrento and it is quite nice, we were very frustrated the first second and third days because the first day we could only take one shower for three people. The second day we complained about no hot water. The lady came to the apartment and said oh I turned on the water it’s hot yes but it only last for five minutes and third day. We didn’t even bother calling. We just didn’t take showers. Not very nice for a luxurious place. We also objected to them grabbing the hundred dollar cleaning fee when we moved in. We feel we should be reimbursed $100 for the inconvenience of the water.

Lovely house

Beautiful area at convenient distance from the beach, the station and lots of lovely restaurants (La Lanterna was particularly great). The house itself was lovely and spacious. There were two balconies that had sun in the morning and early afternoon and looked out on the hustle and bustle of the busier street below. With the doors closed there were no noise issues, with them open you definitely heard the street but they were nice noises that made you feel excited to go out. The space was comfortable, the bath tub was nice and the kitchen was very usable. The first few days the dishwasher didn't work, which was frustrating because washing dishes is my least favourite thing in the world although I love cooking, but once we flagged the issue to the agency, they were quick to respond and within a day they fixed it while we were out. Communication as well as the flat and location were great. My one complaint is that there were some regular supplies missing that we had to go out and buy, like salt for cooking, laundry detergent for the washing machine and extra toilet paper besides the ones that were on the dispenser already. Other than that we had an amazing time and our great, centrally located flat had a big part in that. Totally recommend this listing!

Great location

PROS: The location of the property was great. Right in the middle of everything. Very lovely shopkeepers who you will get to know if you stay a week or longer. Davide was great about responding to your written questions and lining up our cab service when we left. The apartment set up is very good for two couples or a family of four. CONS: The outdoor noise level is very high and has noise from outside nearly 24 hours. But, again the location even though good is the reason for noise. We were there durning the football games and air horns were being blown day and night. The living room is very dark due to over half of the overhead lights being burned out. The light over the kitchen sink also burned out. This was reported the day after we arrived and someone came twice to look at it but, in the two weeks of our stay the lights were never replaced. Also, the downstairs bedroom floor was very dirty and dusty which, we cleaned. It would be very helpful if the apartment had an information manual explaining the working of the appliances and etc.
