à propos de cet hébergement
Entire Tuscan Villa with Private Pool
Set in a secluded olive grove at the base of the historic town of Cortona, where famous renaissance artists such as Fra Angelico, Vasari and Signorelli painted their masterpieces in the 14th - 15th centuries. This ancient stone house sits at the crossroads between its rich history and modern design, with its own chapel, built-in 1278 and a state of the art private pool. The thick stone walls, brick vaults and original features have also been preserved in a minimalist, contemporary architectural renovation, featuring; an open plan kitchen, fireplace and floor heating for cooler months, dining and a lounge looking onto the garden beyond. Upstairs, a second lounge overlooking the Valdichiana Valley, 5 bedrooms and 2 contemporary bathrooms with large walk-in showers and feature bath.
>The Essential Benefits:
- The Villa is located just a short 10-minute drive from the heart of the ancient Etruscan town of Cortona, which features a number of museums, traditional restaurants, bars, evening performances, a theatre, parks and stunning views over the Valdichiana Valley and Trasimeno Lake.
- The Villa sits in the quiet village of Metelliano with a local farmer's market with fresh ingredients, just a 5-minute drive away. The market also accepts home delivery allowing you to have fresh produce and products delivered straight to your doorstep.
- While we recommend having your own mode of transport during your stay, the Villa is conveniently located near two Train Stations (Camucia and Terontola) with daily services to Rome, Florence and Perugia's central stations. Private Taxi service can be arranged on request to take you to and from the Villa and to whichever other sights you wish to visit during your stay at Metelliano.
- The Villa is also only a 45-minute drive from Perugia International Airport, making your voyage into Tuscany a short flight away from other European Airports.
