Quintessential Mews Flat

La propriété est située au-dessus de notre entreprise familiale. Bien que répertorié comme un 2 chambres, il peut en fait s'agrandir en 3/4 chambres (avec 2 salles de bains)! Peut facilement accueillir 6/8 personnes. VEUILLEZ NOTER: Si la réservation est pour moins de 5 personnes, alors UNE seule salle de bain sera disponible. Sachez également qu'il y a 34 marches à gravir avant d'arriver à la porte d'entrée de l'appartement! Cependant, vous ne serez pas déçu une fois à l'intérieur car la propriété vient juste d'être rénovée et fraîchement décorée et meublée. Il dispose de lucarnes ou de fenêtres dans chaque pièce. Il y a deux chambres doubles (une avec un lit king size et une avec un lit queen size) et une chambre avec deux lits simples. Les planchers sont en bois dur partout et la cuisine est équipée d'un four à deux niveaux, micro-ondes. Il y a une buanderie avec laveuse / sécheuse et fer et planche à repasser. Les chambres doubles sont équipées d'un sèche-cheveux de style hôtel.

Great Flat in Great Location

We were fortunate to have found this flat a year ago. The location is perfect, just around the corner from Paddington Station making it a quick trip to anywhere in London. Good neighborhood with plenty of shops and restaurants. The flat was clean with up to date kitchen. Three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms made it perfect for our group. Highly recommend to anyone going to London.

Great Visit to London with Friends

My wife and I stayed here at this great flat with 3 of our friends. This space was great for the 5 of us. Having 3 bedrooms available, kitchen, 2 bathrooms and common space was perfect!The communication was great with the owner and the price was great especially for the location.The flat was a few minute walk from Paddington Station which allowed easy access to the tube and the entire city. We would highly recommended this owner and location. It was a vacation to remember!

Great flat and location

My family enjoyed this flat. The owner has great communication. The flat is perfectly clean and maintained. It's a very comfortable flat and location for touring London. Paddington train station is close and convenient. But the street with the flat is quiet and sheltered. The flat is also in a nice neighborhood for walking and getting to sites. The flat is up 2 flights of narrow stairs which was easy for our active family.

Perfect spot in Paddington

Paddington will always be our home away from home

The apartment’s location is spectacular. The beds are comfy. Having two bathrooms was life changing. The only thing to have in mind is that is a third floor, and the stairs are steep. But the communication with the property manager was prompt, clear and friendly. Will recommend to others. We are planning to come back next year.

Location,location location!

We had a lovely stay. We chose 3 bedrooms and 2 baths as this fit our family with boy and girl teens! It was very clean, all we needed was there for us as we utilized for a home base of daily touring of London. The location was great with access to food and hop on / hop off bus stops! Would happily stay again! As noted in description, there are several stairs which was not an issue for us, but could be for others.

Fantastic location and lovely flat

I stayed here with my husband and two adult daughters and we were all very happy with the living space. The location cannot be beat, check in/out was super easy, and communication with Adrienne was always stellar. The flat does get quite hot on warmer days (which is communicated in the description and reviews, but the fans provided do help a bit. We will definitely be staying here again our next visit to London! Thank you!

Paddington Flat

This flat was located in a terrific location, in close proximity to Paddington Station, bus stops, shops, restaurants, pubs, etc. The property was very clean, with modern finishes inside, and had the basics for what our family needed during our short stay.

Perfect location

The location was absolutely perfect. Easy access to Paddington, which connects you to the whole city. In particular if you fly into Heathrow the train from Heathrow goes straight to Paddington. The property is tucked away on a quiet street. As other guests have mentioned there were quite a few stairs but, we managed fine. It happened to be warm in London when we’re there and the apartment gets very hot; twos fans were provided and definitely needed. Overall, the space and size of bedrooms was great for my family.

Prime location!

We had an amazing time staying at Praed Mews Paddington for 10 nights! It is one of the best locations in terms of transportation to practically anywhere you want to go. Great places to eat and gather groceries for your stay. The place was clean and offered everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We will be booking this place again when we return. Wonderful family vacation

This property was exactly as advertised and met all of our expectations. It was clean, everything was in working condition and the mattresses were very comfortable. Having access to washer/dryer is really a wonderful addition when traveling with children. The proximity to Paddington Station makes it a great location for exploring all areas of London. Since it is tucked down a mews, it was also nice and quiet for sleeping at night. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful flat

The flat had three great bedrooms, two nice bathrooms with showers, a small kitchen/common room, and was in a great, convenient location. You must walk up two flights of stairs to reach the flat. It was perfect for our family with three teens ages 14, 17, and 19!

Good experience

My family of 3 enjoyed this flat for the week. Proximity to tube, grocery store, restaurants, coffee shops etc was great. Only drawback was the alley entrance is ugly and the 3 flights of stairs is difficult with luggage. Well with the price overall though. Enjoy!

London Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was spacious and clean. It was plenty of room for us and our two teenagers (a boy and a girl). The central location was amazing - we took the tube and bus everywhere. We took advantage of the laundry and small fridge. There is no air conditioning and it was a hot spell our first few days. However there were a number of high powered fans in the flat and that made things bearable.

Wonderful flat in a very convenient location

The best part about this flat was its proximity to public transport. Paddington station is a five minute walk and offers access to most of the main tube lines and there is a very convenient bus stop just a few steps away from the door. Pubs, restaurants, and stores are all close by. The apartment was very clean and everything was as advertised. The host was very responsive to the few questions that we had. The location on a mews gives the feeling of "old timey" London and just enough separation from the hustle and bustle of the city. Our only suggestion would be to improve the functionality of the bathrooms by adding counterspace, shelving, or hooks. Although the bathrooms are small, there are some solutions for guests to keep toiletries, clothing, etc. Overall, wonderful stay in a wonderful flat. Thank you!

No communication about no heat/hot water

This is my first ever less than 5-star review, and I use VRBO frequently. The actual flat is lovely and the location couldn't be better. BUT - be sure you have telephone access during your stay, or hope that nothing goes wrong. We had no heat and no hot water for the first 24 hours and the owner/manager did not reply to a single message sent by email or VRBO message. We arrived at 9pm after a full day of travel. The flat was 14C (57F). We spent some time trying to turn the heat up, but nothing worked. We decided to just take hot showers and jump in bed, only to find that there was no hot water. I sent a message through VRBO to ask for help, but by morning there was still no heat and no reply. I ended up tracking down a telephone (am I the only one who relies on WiFi when traveling internationally?) and calling the caretaker. He arrived late that evening (so no heat/hot water all day) and was easily able to fix a problem with the boiler. So, problem solved, but we never heard back from the owner/manager, though I sent multiple messages specifically asking for a reply. A couple other things, that I wouldn't bother to mention if it wasn't for the lack of communication: - The flat is not labeled in any way, even with an address or unit number. The street door has no number (identified because it was the next in order), and the two interior doors to the unit were only identifiable because the keys didn't fit in the other doors. Late in the evening, it felt pretty creepy to be trying keys in random doors. - When we arrived, the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes and the toilet had cleaner in it but hadn't been scrubbed. Seemed like the cleaner didn't quite finish up. No problem, we just ran the dishwasher. Bottom line: the place was fine and if the boiler hadn't gone out, or if the owner/manager had replied to even one of my messages, this would have been a 5-star review. But when I use an interface like VRBO, I expect good communication through this interface. I wouldn't deal with this owner again.

Amazing stay in amazing surroundings

Very nice and comfortable apartment in perfect location of a London trip; everything needed is provided, beds are very comfortable and the whole apartment is very light due to the windows on the roof; many nice restaurants and small shops nearby; walking-distance to Oxford Street via Hyde Park is 15 minutes; Paddingtin Station just around the corner - good tip: flights to Heathrow as there is a direct connection of 20 minutes to Paddington Station;
