We had a wonderful time at the house! The location to the beach is perfect. The street was very quiet and the pool was an amenity I enjoyed more than I expected. Plus the house is two doors down from a massage therapist! We had plenty of room for our family and the house had everything we needed.

Very nice house with short walk to the beach! The only thing I would recommend is a handrail into the pool. I had hoped to be able to use the pool since I can’t walk far enough to get to the beach. But without a handrail, my 78 year old self couldn’t even get into the pool. Hope you’ll consider that in the future. We would enjoy coming back if that change is made.

Check in was easy. Communication with the owner was quick when needed. The property was just a quick walk down the road from the beach access. Many items were available for use at the home such as chairs and boogie boards. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms well appointed. One is a shower only and the other a tub/shower combo. Kirchen had everything we needed to cook during our stay. This was our first time to Holden Beach but won't be our last.

Our family recently enjoyed a week at this property. Everything was as described. We loved the view of the waterway and the walk to the beach wasn’t too long. We brought our wagon to make that a little easier with all our kids stuff. And one of the accesses is step free so we were able to pull it right over. The kitchen was well stocked. And our boys were overjoyed to find Xbox set up for use!

Awesome family stay

The house was perfect for our family of five. We loved the heated pool with all the fun floats provided. It was a quick walk to the beach with two options (the left one has no stairs). The kitchen had everything we needed. Communications with Michael were excellent. We'll be back!

Quiet beach getaway…

I’ve been coming to Holden Beach since I was an Unborn baby lol, now in my 40’s I get to share it with my wife. The place is immaculate and has everything you could ever need all the modern amenities in a great location. The pool is a nice bonus as well. Got to experience the beautiful views and the fireworks out over the channel. Couldn’t thank the host enough very accommodating and attentive without pestering.

Fantastic Time

What a lovely home this is—and it looks exactly like the photos! It is a very short walk to the beach. You have a lovely view of the marsh land with the pool and the birds! It’s heavenly! I loved having the laundry room—especially if you have an active family on the beach, the coffee maker makes both drip coffee and takes k-cups, and there are lots of kitchen utensils and even spices! We had the best time—and so relaxing 😌!!! Well worth every penny!

This must be the place was great !

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Holden at this must be the place. We were able to relax and recharge. You have the beauty of the marsh as well as sounds of the ocean .Everything was clean and the house is perfect for a beach rental . It has everything you need . We had a long drive from home so I had groceries delivered from Walmart in Shallotte and was able to cook and grill most nights . There are plenty of spices available for cooking . We went out to eat a couple of nights too .The house is spacious and comfy, and the kids enjoyed having tvs in their rooms at night when it was time to chill out . Enjoyed sitting on the front porch relaxing at night . The best part of the house is the pool. It is clean and refreshing. We did not need to heat the pool but it was also late June .The beach is only a short walk. Michael was a great landlord and responded quickly to any questions . I would highly recommend this house if you are looking for a rental for a week at Holden . My kids 12 and 14 had their scooters and electric bikes and had a blast riding in the evenings to the ice cream shop . I would’ve stayed two weeks if we could!

We had a wonderful stay for our family vacation here this year. Plenty of room, the pool & outdoor shower were used daily, and the views from the back porch were beautiful. The host was great and quick to communicate when we had a question. Would stay here again!
