Great holiday

We always enjoy the weeks we stay here. Peaceful, overlooking the golf and mountains, and only a few minutes from the sea, bars and shops. Everything to make it comfortable as home in the sun.

Fabulous just what we needed

The Villa is great in quite location near a great golf course, we did not hire a car, just walked & taxis. Perfect for us. All the facilities at the villa were great, modern shower room, pool & Astra turf garden, sun all day.

Fantastic villa

The villa is fantastic and exceeded my expectations. It is very clean and modern and has almost every amenity to make this feel like a home from home. I couldn’t fault the property and the outdoor area. We hired a car and the town and bars/restaurants are a short drive away and supermarket 2/3 minutes by car, which I would recommend hiring. We found Caleta de Velez to have a good choice of places to eat and drink and only 20 mins drive to Nerja where there might be a bit more going on or a change of scenery if you wanted this. The area around the villa I found to be very quiet and peaceful which made our holiday just what we were hoping for.

Nice place

Rented the property two weeks in July. Didn’t meet Antonio but he was very responsive when we had questions. The pictures are acurate. Near everything: beach, grocery stores, restaurants. You do need a car to get around. It’s a lot of steps to get to the house, so with luggage and grocery bags it could be a challenge. Overall very nice stay, would go back!

Tranquil villa with amazing views and a lovely pool

If you're looking for a peaceful spot for a holiday, then this villa is perfect. There's no traffic noise and it's a real haven. The villa is beautiful - spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The pool area is very spacious, and there are two separate outdoor eating areas. The roof terrace has the most wonderful views of the coast and the mountains. You do need a car here as there aren't amenities within an easy walk and the villa is situated at the top of a hill (hence the amazing views!). We had a lovely stay here, and very highly recommend it as a wonderful place for a holiday. Thank you to Antonio for the prompt and friendly communications and the very straightforward check-in process. Overall, it's definitely worth the high rating.

Holiday 2024

Back from a 14 night stay here, the villa is well equipped with everything you need. Pool was lovely to cool off in as you get the sun all day. Roof Terrace was our favourite with the most amazing views . We did hire a car which i think you would need as the Villa is at the top of the road on a hill. There is an Aldi at the bottom of the road which you could walk to which would take you about 15 minutes. The restaurant Eclipse is nice for a meal , however it does close at 7.30pm. We recommend you walk to Torre del Mar which is about a 40 minute walk for more night life , restaurants, bars, markets by the beach and women doing ladies/girls hair . We went to El Horno twice , it has lovely food and drinks. We went to Nerja on a Tuesday which has a Market from around 10am -2pm (every Sunday/Tuesday). Had a wander in town and stayed for some lunch, a lovely place to visit. We enjoyed our time here We did visit the shopping centre called " El Ingenio" which wasn't far via car. This was a nice afternoon out , they had a food court with plenty places to choose from .

The Best!

We have just returned home after a two month stay at the villa - we loved every moment. Having never visited Spain before we were unsure about how to select a location and property, but the gods favoured us and we chose a location and home that were impossible to improve upon. The location of the villa, at the top of the hill in Caleta de Velez gives it the advantage of magnificent 360 degree views - a whole stretch of coastline and hills and mountains behind. There are no properties to the rear, just the Baviera Campo de Golf and the neighbouring properties are all well kept individual villas. It's very quiet and peaceful. Just 900m down the little road lies the small town of Caleta which together with Algarobbo just further along, provides everything for daily needs and some excellent supermarkets (Mercadona in particular). There are lovely walks along the seafront towards Torre del Mar, which were an almost daily pleasure. Quite honestly we rarely ate out - the kitchen at the villa is very well equipped and a delight to cook in (lovely views from it too), so we preferred to stay at home and cook local foods, enjoying them on either of the lovely terraces, or at the cosy dining table inside. The photos of the outside and the pool show it exactly as it is - stunning - and we even used the pool when we got into March. The layout internally suited us perfectly - not too big for just two of us, but ample for more if required. The fact that it's comfortably modern was a big attraction to us, as we're not lovers of the dark, wooden interiors that most villas seem to offer. Whilst we didn't get to meet Antonio and Melvine, we had lovely and regular contact with them and couldn't have wished for more helpful and friendly hosts. We did get to meet some of their family, including one of Antonio's brothers, a well renowned local artist who painted all the works of art on the walls of the villa - again, this made it so much more special than just a couple of Ikea prints! The lovely city of Malaga is just a twenty minute drive away and we visited several times, exploring different parts. Granada too is just a short and interesting drive through the mountains. More locally, the towns of Nerja and Frigilana are a pleasure to visit and stroll around. We have already booked a long return visit for next winter and are looking forward to it immensely.

Maison au top!

Superbe location bien située à côté du golf de Caleta de Velez. La maison est vraiment magnifique confortable avec la climatisation essentiel en août. Qq marches pour atteindre l entrée de la maison. Une piscine très agréable, un nettoyage de la piscine durant les 15 jours aurait été souhaitable. La communication avec Antonio au top bref je recommande été

Was een fantastisch huis van alle gemakken voorzien. Mooi zwembad en vanuit het dakterras een prachtig uitzicht over de zee. De eigenaar is ook makkelijk te bereiken en heel vriendelijk. Het enige nadeel was dat we lek geprikt zijn door tijgermuggen. Buiten dat is het een aanrader!

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Locatie is leuk wat hoger waardoor veel privacy en leuk uitzicht op de golfbaan. Huis was leuk met meteen het zwembad na de openschuivende pui. Strand is op 1 km en de supermarkt net daarvoor dus alles vlakbij. Wij huurde vaak wat op een berg, maar dit is ook erg leuk en een aanrader. De communicatie met Antonio was fijn en duidleijk.

Der Aufenthalt in der Villa hat uns sehr glücklich gemacht. Die Bilder und die Beschreibung spiegeln alles wieder und sind sehr realistisch. Kleine Beanstandungen hätten wir bzgl. der Reinheit, aber ich bin auch sehr empfindlich, das muss ich zugeben. Die Küche könnte nochmal einige Neuanschaffungen benötigen (es fehlt zB ein Korkenzieher und scharfe Messer), die Schränke könnten mal ausgewaschen werden. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden und würden das Objekt weiterempfehlen und selbst auch jederzeit zurückkehren. Schade, dass man den Vermieter nicht persönlich kennenlernt, aber er beantwortet Nachrichten sehr zeitnah.

Erholsamer Urlaub

Wir haben zu zweit 19 Tage in der Villa verbracht. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet, die Lage sehr gut. Die Bilder zeigen genau, was einen auch erwartet. Von der Dachterasse aus hat man einen tollen 360 Blick auf die Berge und das Meer. In der Nähe gibt es sehr gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants, es ist aber auf jeden Fall ein Auto erforderlich. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt, und können dieses Haus weiterempfehlen.

Gezellig huis, goede locatie

Het is een gezellig huis met grote ruime buiten terrassen heerlijk de hele dag zon , of schaduw als je daar voor kiest. Contact met de eigenaar was heel goed een probleem met verloren sleutels heel snel opgelost. Zeker een plek om terug te komen

Schöne Auszeit

Alles zusammen eine tolle Unterkunft für 2 Personen. Man hatte seine Ruhe so wie geplant. Der Pool verlor immer wieder Wasser aber das ließ sich nachfüllen.

Frohe Ostern

Das Haus liegt etwas höher mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick. Alles vorhanden was man braucht. Mit dem Mietwagen sind Ziele in der Umgebung gut zu erreichen. Torrox Strand, Malaga, Granada, Cordoba (ca. 2 Std. wunderschön), Nerja. Wir haben hier tolle Tage erlebt und uns sehr erholt. Vielen Dank Antonio

Great modern villa

In a quiet neighbourhood, backs onto a golf course, on top of a hill, not overlooked and sheltered. Very comfortable. We would recommend staying here, a car is essential.

Absolutely Delightful

We lived in this beautiful home for two full months (July - August 2022) and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The location is great, the views are beautiful and the home was the perfect size and layout for us. Antonio made our stay very easy and was an excellent host.

Beautiful villa!

The villa was beautiful, everything you needed for a lovely stay. Just one snag we encountered was, we didn't know beforehand that there are 39 steps to negotiate from the street level to the villa! This proved a bit of a struggle for us, especially with luggage. Would have been useful to know this beforehand.
