Property itself was pretty much as advertised. One or two minor niggles such as door handles missing off kitchen cupboards. The bigger disappointment was the communal swimming pool area. The pool itself was fine but the condition of the loungers and chairs was very poor. Most were broken and unfit for use. This was reported with photos but the response i received was that it was nothing to do with the property. I disagree with this as it is advertised as a facility with the property and i would imagine the house owners all pay a fee for the pool and its environs to be maintained. So much so that next year we will looking for a property with a private pool.
This is a honest review of our recent holiday in this villa .
The property was easy to book with instant reply from Natali answered all my questions quickly and sent information back . I cannot fault her at all .
The Villa itself is on a quiet residential area and access is through a key lock box on wall which was easy to use throughout .
Upon entering the Villa it was spacious and pleasantly decorated throughout. Towels were provided and it was good that we had a washing machine so we could wash them during our stay.
The beds seemed a bit small for queen size the mattresses were very hard and we all struggled to sleep comfortably during our stay .
The walk to the main area of town approx 10 minutes walk , which was a steady stroll. Great bars.
The swimming pool was a walk down the road and you gained entry with a key provided . We used three times during our stay . The pool was very clean and lovely to use however not many sun beds and need to replace some of the broken ones . About 5 decent ones in pool area. It is a shared pool for residents of this area so this problem lies with the management company for the pool.
The Villa has a hot tub listed , when I enquired if we could use this I was informed it was broken and out of use.
Mosquitoes were bad donât forget repellents we also bought inside repellents, got bitten whilst in bed they were everywhere. Little blighters were a real pain!
Try Puerto Blanca & Imagine Curry to eat both great.
property was in a good location, spacious and peaceful. It had everything you need for self catering and lovely outside area, sunbeds, tables and chairs. Natali the property manager was wonderful and would do anything to help you. Would book this property again. Terry & Marilyn, Brian & Annette
Four of us, two couples, stayed at this gorgeous villa for 9 days. The kitchen is small but has everything needed. Lovely lounge and large outside terrace. The bedrooms are spacious, one has doors to the terrace. The contact from the owner before we arrived was excellent, and Natalie checked in on us a few times while we we were there to make sure everything was ok. The villa is in a residential area that is really quiet.
The bus station is about 200 metres away, with a supermarket another 100 metres away. The bars and restaurants and shops start about a five minute walk away, with a gorgeous seafront. The area is still developing and more facilities will inevitably be built. The Rubicon area is really lovely and well worth visiting. We hired a car (Cabrera Medina highly recommended) but taxis are cheap if you need to get them any where.
I would highly recommend this villa and Playa Blanca ,a bit quieter than Puerto del Carmen.
