Casa Sierra a une combinaison invitante de proximité, d'isolement et de commodités gratuites que les autres locations n'ont pas! Situé dans le West End, sur l'eau à Mangrove Bight. Une très courte distance à pied de nombreux centres de plongée, bars, restaurants, magasins et épicerie. Échappez à l'agitation de la ville tout en profitant du cadre calme et paisible de notre propriété. Observez les colibris, papillons, geckos et autres animaux sauvages depuis notre quai ou votre propre terrasse privée. Utilisation gratuite de l'équipement de plongée et des kayaks.
De hauts plafonds, des ventilateurs et de nombreuses fenêtres pour permettre à la brise de l'île de traverser votre maison. Cette maison bien équipée dispose d'un canapé et d'une causeuse, d'une télévision avec câble dans le salon, d'un matelas king-size en mousse de gel en maître, d'une connexion Wi-Fi et d'un petit coin bureau avec imprimante dans le grenier. Le salon, la chambre principale et la deuxième chambre ont tous deux la climatisation pendant les quelques jours où vous en aurez besoin. Cuisine entièrement équipée avec casseroles, poêles, plaques de cuisson, récipients de stockage, épices et condiments divers et bien plus encore. La location comprend l'utilisation de kayaks (premier arrivé, premier servi), l'équipement de plongée en apnée, les masques, les tubas, tous les services publics, y compris la laveuse et la sécheuse, les draps et les serviettes. Le condo et les suites Casa Sierra sont nichés dans les arbres comme une cabane géante, nous avons un quai à travers la mangrove jusqu'à la baie et ouvert sur l'océan. Vous pouvez prendre nos kayaks directement à partir de notre quai ou marcher quelques minutes jusqu'à la plage de Half Moon Bay pour une plongée en apnée de classe mondiale et de nombreux bars, restaurants, magasins, plongée sous-marine et bateaux-taxis.

Second Time Around

This is the 2nd time at this location. I love that it’s near the strip, but not on the strip. You get away from the hustle, but close enough to wander home from having a few beers at the bar which has live music. Our hosts were absolutely fabulous and obviously care about their guests. We will most definitely be back!

Beautiful property - looks exactly like photos online

This was my 2nd trip to Roatán but first time to stay at Casa Sierra - the location of the property is great: an easy walking distance to the “strip” where shops & restaurants are but far enough away that it is quiet & peaceful to get a good nights sleep - inside looks exactly like the photos online, is immaculately clean & stocked with everything you might need to use during your stay - I would recommend this property to anyone & would definitely stay here again myself - also, apparently they are putting in a pool soon, so it will be even better! 😁

Perfect place!

We love Roatan and stay in the west end at this beautiful home. We have rented the small apartments and the two bedroom flat. Very clean, comfortable and perfect location. You have everything you need here. A very short walk to restaurants and shops. Another short walk to snorkel. Safe and friendly area! Owners and caretakers and so friendly and helpful. You just can’t beat it. We have been four times now and always stay here.

Simply paradise!

The two bedroom unit was beautifully appointed, very clean and had everything and more that you would expect in a vacation rental. There was loads of room to move around, local art that reminded you where you were and all of the amenities that you needed to cook up an island meal (if you don’t feel up to walking 2 minutes down the street to enjoy the local food vendors). There were books to read on the balconies, there was wildlife to watch (like pelicans and watusas) and for a rainy day there are plenty of TV channels and wifi to keep you connected. As for the location, Half Moon Bay is only about a 2 minute walk and it has amazing snorkeling - we saw 100’s of fish, lobster, starfish, a barracuda, a spotted ray, a couple of turtles and the list goes on. Aside from the beautiful accommodations and convenient location, the management here are amazing. They are genuinely nice people who took great care of us and ended up feeling more like neighbours than management.

It is a lovely unit , nicely appointed as expected from description. Unit is secluded and quiet,the grounds are well maintained. It is close to West End, 3 minute walk to beach, restaurants and activities . Trouble free booking and transportation to and from airport. Excellent hosts with all expectations met. Have recommended to friends and will be returning next year.

When we arrived in Roatan and drove through West End towards the property we quickly realized what a great location this property was in. Great proximity to beaches, dive shops, food, bars, and a market! The unit we stayed in was very well equipped with all the kitchen gadgets we could need, the beds were sooooo comfortable, the bathroom was well stocked with towels and other bathroom needs, living room was well appointed with nice couches and a good size TV and lots of movies and books to use! Oh and the AC unit worked great and kept the living and kitchen area nice and cool. There are AC units in all the bedrooms as well that work great. The property owners, Jeff and Michelle, were very nice and informative. They were always available to answer any questions we had and had great recommendations for things to see or places to go. The location had to have been the best spot in West End! Close enough to walk to any activity, restaurant, and plenty of beaches yet you still feel like you have some privacy. The property is covered in huge fruit trees (where else can you get fresh mangoes and avocados right outside your door??) Over all it was a great stay in a well accommodated and clean unit and clean property. Close to any activity and just a few minute walk to half moon bay or to have an sunset beer at Sundowners! We will absolutely be coming back and wouldn't think about staying anywhere else other than Jeff and Michelle's property!

Casa Sierra 2 bedroom Condo

When we arrived for our 2 week vacation in Roatan, Jeff & Michelle had everything ready for us. We exited the airport to see our driver Rigo waiting for us. He took us straight to the grocery store so that we could gather all our necessities needed for our stay. We arrived to our 2 bdrm condo, it was exactly as described. Beautifully decorated with all the touches of island. We were very pleased how much we felt right at home. The condo was fully equipped with all the nice touches of home and then some. There was snorkel gear for us to use as well as kayaks to enjoy. The walk to the beach was a mere 3 min away, we felt as if we were right in the middle of it all being so close to West End. Water taxi's cost $3 for a quick ride to West bay, a must do to spend the day on gorgeous white sandy beaches. Snorkeling was a delight and so easy to get to from the house with beautiful coral and many species of fish to enjoy. Many had even spotted turtles and Eagle rays. Night life was a blast with bars and restaurants all along the main strip just minutes from the condo. We always felt very safe even walking at night heading back in from a lovely evening out with friends. Every evening were greeted by the night watchman that watched over the entire houses, Condo's and studios. Everyday there was something different to do & Michelle and Jeff were extremely helpful with ideas for activities and recommendations for people from tours to massages. I very much appreciated how attentive they were to all of our needs. This was truly one of the best experiences staying in an AirBnB. I can't say enough how much we enjoyed our visit to the island. We will always feel we have a home away from home at Casa Sierra for all our future visits to the Island. Thank you So much.

Wonderful stay at a lovely home

We had a great stay at Casa Sierra! Jeff & Michelle answered any questions we had before our trip and shared many helpful tips. When we arrived in Roatan John & Kay greeted us at the airport and had icy cold water ready for all 5 of us. They were friendly and so helpful. Kay took us girls to the grocery store and shared tips along the way. When we arrived at Casa SIerra I noticed immediately the beautiful trees and the quiet environment. The house was perfect. It was clean and very inviting. It felt like a home where you can relax after a day of diving or snorkeling. The home is well equipped and if you need anything at all, John and Kay are very helpful. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a family meal. There is a nice balcony with a hammock right off of the living room. It is a wonderful place to read a book and watch the beautiful hummingbirds. The bathrooms and bedrooms are spacious. There is even another balcony off of the master bedroom with clotheslines and clothespins to hang your swimsuits or other laundry. This house also has a washer and dryer which was very helpful to keep up with this group. I felt very safe and secluded at Casa Sierra. It sits back away from the road and backs up to a bight. There is a boat dock with lovely views of other houses and the sea. One of the statements in the book about the house said "We thought of that". It is so true. They have this home so well equipped that you don't have to bring half of your house or go to the store for a cork screw or storage containers. We stayed July 22nd to August 5th. We have never spent more than a few hours in Roatan so this was a great chance to explore. Casa Sierra's location is a 5 minute walk to Half Moon Bay and about 10 minutes by water taxi to West Bay. This perfect location makes it easy to walk to shops, restaurants, dive shops, and the beach. At the end of the day you can return to the quiet, comfortable Casa Sierra. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will recommend Casa SIerra to our friends. John and Kay were so great. We had a great time visiting with them and learning about Roatan. Thanks for making Casa Sierra an inviting home to live in while experiencing the beauty and adventure of Roatan!

First Class Roatan Accommodations

My husband, daughter, and I have rented five different places on Roatan, and this house stands out as being exceptionally located and exquisitely appointed. During our two-week stay, we enjoyed being in a quiet part of West End and also just a couple minutes walk to Half Moon Bay, the grocery store, shops and restaurants. The house is right on the water, and we enjoyed early morning kayaking as well as sunsets from their dock. We cooked almost every meal in the house and had everything we needed – from sharp knives and sauce pans for meat dishes to bread pans for fresh bread. We really liked being in a peaceful, safe part of town and also close to everything we wanted to do. Everything in the house is brand new, from towels and bed sheets to kitchenware and couches. We had everything we could possibly need, and if we needed help with anything, property managers Stan and Joan were there to assist us. It was really nice to have them next door. You would be hard-pressed to find two more helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating neighbors. They were an absolute joy and helped us with our many questions. One other detail we appreciated about this house was that AC/electricity and water are included, which is not often the case on Roatan. If you are looking for a two-bedroom rental in West End and this unit is available, you should book it. You will not be disappointed.

Hi, we are Jeff and Michelle Haas and we are the owners of Casa Sierra and Casa Canuck. We are real estate brokers, investors and property managers. As we have gotten closer to retirement age we had been searching for a Caribbean destination to call our own. After many vacations searching for just the right place we finally returned to Roatan where my husband had visited as a teen. I had heard many stories of the summer he came to the island, fishing, diving, snorkeling and relaxing on the beach. From the moment, we stepped off the airplane, all the fond memories of that summer in Roatan were confirmed. We had found that special place here in Roatan. 2+ years later from our original purchase of Casa Sierra (half of the building), we bought out the other side, Casa Canuck. We are happy to have been able to expand our little piece of paradise and welcome you to come share it with us!

Aside from the charm of the island, the reasons we picked this property were simple, we loved the rustic charm and village vibe of West End. We also loved the fact that you are just a few minutes walk to the grocery store, bars, restaurants, shopping, diving and snorkeling. The snorkeling in Half Moon Bay is world class and only a few minutes walk from our place. If you want to go to West Bay beach, ranked in the top 20 beaches in the world, for the day, you can take a 5-7 minute water taxi ride for around 5 dollars per person.

Casa Sierra and Casa Canuck suites are nestled in the trees like a giant tree house, we have a dock out through the mangrove to the bight and open to the sea. You can take our complementary kayaks, sit on our great dock or walk a few minutes to Half Moon bay beach. There is no need for a car here in West End, as everything is within walking distance.
