L'espace:

Le Vista Azul est un appartement de 2 chambres et 2 salles de bains situé dans le centre du village de West Bay, à seulement 3 minutes à pied de l’une des plus belles plages du monde, West Bay Beach. Cette unité spacieuse vous offrira une cuisine entièrement équipée, un salon / salle à manger ouvert, un barbecue, une terrasse bien exposée et de nombreuses terrasses extérieures couvertes. Notre charmant cottage en bord de mer est superbement décoré pour améliorer le style de vie des plages des Caraïbes. Toutes nos chambres sont lumineuses et spacieuses, avec un lit queen size et une salle de bain privée. Il y a aussi un canapé-lit gigogne pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 2 enfants de 5 ans et plus. L'appartement dispose de 3 unités de climatisation et de ventilateurs de plafond. Draps, serviettes de bain et de piscine sont fournis. Pendant votre séjour à Vista Azul, vous profiterez de la brise de la mer et adorerez votre vue sur l'océan et les couchers de soleil tous les jours.

La propriété a sa propre piscine privée partagée avec les deux autres unités Encanto del Mar-Turquesa et Encanto del Mar-Cabana.

L'Encanto del Mar est situé à seulement 150 mètres de la plage de West Bay. Bien que situé dans le centre du village de West Bay, entouré d'un jardin luxuriant avec un feuillage vert, des fleurs, des manguiers, des cocotiers et des bananiers, Encanto del Mar vous procurera la tranquillité et toute l'intimité dont vous avez besoin pour votre escapade parfaite. De l'appartement, vous pouvez vous rendre en une minute au mile de la plage de sable blanc et profiter du soleil et de la vie nocturne de nombreux bars et restaurants. De plus, deux grands petits restaurants se trouvent à gauche et à droite de la propriété (porte à porte). Mini supermarché, boutique de souvenirs, location de voitures / scooters, établissement vinicole et même une polyclinique d'urgence se trouvent de l'autre côté de la rue.

The place is really special, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It is just minutes from the beach, which made it easy to go back and forth throughout the day. The beach has amazing sunsets, and it was wonderful to have breakfast on the porch each morning. The hosts were very attentive and helpful, quick to respond and made everything feel smooth. We truly enjoyed our time here and hope to return soon.

We stayed for two weeks and had a wonderful time. The location was so convenient to everything we needed (coffee shop, dive shop, beach, convenience store, restaurants). It was great having a pool to relax in and a big enough living space for all of us to hang out in the evenings.

The pictures are accurate and you won’t want to miss this stay! Loved our short daily walks to the pristine beach, the view from the deck was amazing, listening to the birds was a highlight! The pool as so clean and refreshing and the house is stocked with everything you need! Tanya and Boris were always there for help and amazing hosts. You won’t be disappointed!

The property has everything you want. All necessities are in the room. Really great unit, very pretty, very authentic feel. Beautiful accommodations and wonderful hosts!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Encanto Del Mar. Such lovely and comfortable accommodations, with a well-appointed kitchen and beautiful outdoor space. The pool was very clean and refreshing—we especially enjoyed it at sunset, after a day at the beach. The grounds are immaculate, peaceful and very secure. A short walk to beautiful beaches with great snorkeling, fun activities, Wonderful restaurants and bars. We were in heaven and never wanted to leave! Wonderful location, beautiful stay

We had a lovely stay at Encanto Del Mar. It's a beautiful space with lots of room for 4 people, in a great location close to the beach and everything going on in West Bay. It was HOT inside, and opted to pay the extra $28/day for air conditioning. I don't think we couldn't have stayed there had we not done this. I found the bed and pillow very uncomfortable and didn't sleep very well while there. There was also only a sheet to sleep with, and as someone who likes sleeping with blankets I found that a little tough. Tanya was very responsive and gave us some great recommendations for where to eat. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Dear Marissa, Thank you for the great review. I would like to clarify some of your observations. Additional cost for the AC is clearly listed under our description, sorry if you haven’t read that information. Furthermore, I am very surprised to find out you had uncomfortable sleep. All our units have new mattresses and pillows (foam one, medium firm). Maybe it just wasn't to your liking. Additional covers were in fact available in each bedroom closet, sorry you haven’t found them or asking for more as we are available for our guests 24/7. Our standard bedding set is without blankets as the majority of our guests are not actually using AC and our accommodation is in a tropical area where is generally always HOT. Appreciate your final standpoint you had a wonderful stay.

Clean, quaint, and charming white-washed cottage with beachy vibe. Nestled among lush tropicals. Private pool perfect for relaxing. Short walk to everything you need to make it home away from home. New fresh fruit and vegetables market close by. Short walk to the beach and the most incredible clear sea. Wonderful snorkelling right off the shore. Hosts Tanya and Boris are always accessible, attentive to any needs. This made us feel assured and cared for. They gave us our privacy all the while ensuring we were aware that any concerns would be addressed immediately. Looking forward to returning!

Great place, close to west bay beach

The property is very well located and has everything you need. We loved our patio area and the villa itself. It was larger than expected so we were pleasantly surprised. It is a 5 min walk to the best beach with everything you need and restaurants all over the place. The villa could use a deep cleaning such as baseboards and flooring but it is expected in the Caribbean. We were not affected by it. The AC is a must as it gets hot real quick. We had two power outages during our 24 day stay and the generator cuts off at 9pm and the place heats up like an oven! We loved our vacation and were happy with our choice of rental unit! Would do it again!

Hi Patrick, I wanted to thank you for choosing to stay with us last August. It was a pleasure hosting you and your family, and I'm thrilled to hear you had a wonderful time during your summer vacation. Upon reading your review, I would like to take the opportunity to address some of the points you raised. Firstly, regarding the cleanliness of the floors, I have to respectfully disagree with your assessment. The house features wooden, dark grey, oil-based painted floors, very sensitive to chemicals and scratches. Due to heavy cleanings in frequently used areas, discoloration is visible. I believe this may have led you to believe that the floors needed a deep cleaning. The same applies to the baseboards; scratch marks from guests' luggage in the bedrooms and corridors are not due to cleanliness. I regret that you did not communicate with us about this during your stay. Our cleaning service was coming weekly and they would assist, show you and explain the same. Nonetheless, we are taking steps to repaint the floors before the winter to ensure that they are in top condition for our future guests. Secondly, when it comes to the hot weather, it's important to note that July, August, and September are traditionally the hottest and driest months of the year. Roatan, like many Caribbean islands, is renowned for its hot and humid climate. This year, the region has experienced record-breaking temperatures due to La Niña affecting both the air and ocean. Based on our extensive renting experience, we've noticed that guests coming from colder climates often find it challenging to acclimate. As a long-time resident of Roatan, we don't have air conditioning in our house, but over the years, we've acclimated well to the climate. You were fortunate that the power went out only twice during your month-long stay as the local power company was at breaking point due to high power consumption on the island. Thank you once again for choosing to stay with us, and I hope we have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future.

Lovely Stay

We stayed in the upper unit of En Canto Del Mar. 2 bed, 2 bath, nice size kitchen, living room and dining area. The deck is huge! It has a proper sitting area and dining table, plus a hammock and BBQ! The pool is private and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to our next trip.

-Very good location. -Hosts are very accommodating. They were very happy to answer all our questions and their recomendations where very helpful. -Large and practical layout of the house for 2 couples. -Practical swimming pool, cleaned every morning. -Nice vieu from the balkony. -Air conditioning on the expensive side (like anywhere in Roatan). Incredible hosts... beautiful home... close to a lovely and lively beach

Tatyana and Boris are simply amazing hosts. I do not think I have ever stayed in a vacation rental with hosts who were more attentive, responsive, kind, helpful, and gracious. From rides to and from the airport, a huge bunch of bananas chopped from a tree on the gorgeous property and hung from a wall on our deck-- to a surprise bottle of wine that we enjoyed with dinner with a spectacular view high above West Bay. Whatever we needed -- and sometimes even what we did not... Boris and Tatyana were there to help. Book time in this beautiful home -- especially if you are looking to be in the bustling area of West Bay -- while nestled up the hill just a bit. The private pool is a beautiful respite from the sand and hot sun, and the couple lovingly care for it and all parts of this property diligently. This place is their pride and joy -- and you can tell from the way they have furnished it and dote over the place Thank you, Tatyana and Boris!... for taking such good care of us and our family while we were on the island. We will always remember your kindness.
