Que ce soit pour une escapade romantique à 2 ou des vacances en famille pour 6, The Beach House est votre chez vous. Il dispose de deux chambres privées (un lit king et 2 lits jumeaux) et deux salles de bains. Il y a aussi deux canapés-lits dans le salon. Il a une cuisine complète et un porche de 500 pieds carrés pour voir les couchers de soleil incroyables Sandy Bay.

La maison est entièrement équipée avec draps, câble, WiFi, climatisation, téléphones portables, service de ménage en milieu de semaine, prise en charge à l'aéroport et eau potable.

La propriété est nichée dans un jardin d’Eden de 6 hectares avec plus de 40 arbres fruitiers, des palmiers et sa propre plage privée de 100 mètres. La propriété est également fermée avec un gardien de sécurité et un gestionnaire immobilier résident. La propriété est dans la Réserve marine. Le récif est à 100 mètres du quai; la plume de dauphin à environ 50 pieds. Une femme de ménage à temps plein peut être disponible pour cuisiner, faire le ménage et garder les enfants.

Anthony's Key est à deux pâtés de maisons, tout comme Octopus Dive School. Les trois meilleurs restaurants sont à trois minutes à pied. Les taxis sont 1 $. 50 par personne. La propriété est à seulement dix minutes de l'aéroport et de Coxen Hole.

Nous avons également une autre maison de deux chambres à environ 100 pieds de la plage le long d'un ruisseau et aussi un petit chalet de plage efficace appelé The Cabana à côté de l'océan avec une salle de bain, une cuisine minimale et une terrasse donnant sur la plage.

Blue Bahia, Tranquill Seas et Anthony sont tous accessibles à pied depuis le petit-déjeuner, le déjeuner et le dîner.

The host was great, providing all needed information and regularly checking in with us to see if we needed anything. The staff was reachable at all times and helped with anything we needed. The property had all the amenities expected plus some. I would definitely stay again as it was an exceptional location and had some of the best views!

The view from the property can't be beat! The 'neighborhood' is full of garbage and one of the property doors does not close entirely but it was a great spot for Island Vibe and Mariam was very helpful!

Simply Amazing

We only had 1 week but could have easily stayed for a month. The location is just exceptional. A short drive from the airport, the home is close to all the recreational amenities of West Bay. Only steps from the beach, you’re a quick, short swim to world-class snorkelling. The unit, ideal for 2 couples, or a family of 5, was unusually well-equipped. Most importantly, the on-sight care takers were charming and very helpful, with great communication. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a well-located home away from home. 5-stars.

My experience at this property was absolutely incredible from start to finish. I was personally greeted at the airport and transported to the house by the wonderful team of Mirian (Property Manager) and Johnny (Grounds Manager), who were both friendly, professional, and always eager to help with anything I needed throughout my stay.The house itself exceeded expectations — spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed. The kitchen was large and well-equipped, the living room comfortable and inviting, and the master bedroom opened directly onto a huge deck overlooking the bay. The view was stunning; I could see all the way down the beach from my deck chair.The location couldn’t have been better. Just a short walk down the beach was Sandy Bay Diving, an outstanding dive shop, along with two great restaurants for easy meals. The property is also just a quick drive to the West End, where I could enjoy the lively energy, shops, and restaurants — then return to the peace, solitude, and relaxation of Sandy Bay.This property offered the perfect balance between adventure and tranquility, and I couldn’t have asked for a better Roatán experience. A huge thank-you to Mirian and Johnny for making me feel right at home. I absolutely loved my stay and would return in a heartbeat.

A wonderful place

Where to begin? The Santuary Beach House is a wonderful place with an amazing view. Mirium is the greatest host, very friendly and always ready to help. Johnny who is also there on the property is available for tours, and he will even cook you a meal if that is what you would enjoy. This was our first stay at this incredible house and it did not dissapoint. The location is great, walking distance to Blue Bahia Grill, and Sandy Bay Divers in one direction, and Anthony Key Resort in the other direction. Sitting directly across from the dolphin pens, you can sit on the dock and watch what goes on with the dolphins. If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay, you have come to the right place. Enjoy!

Relaxing stay

This is a phenomenal property for independent travelers who either want to relax, enjoy the view and the snorkeling or get out and explore. It was especially fun to be greeted by the dolphins as we snorkeled past their pen. We also enjoyed the dolphin training sessions in open water directly in front of the rental. The rental itself was comfortable, wonderfully cared for, clean and had everything we needed. That in itself, with the view and dolphins is more than enough for a 5 star review, but the icing on the cake and the thing that makes this rental stand out above the others is the staff. Miriam went above and beyond making sure we had everything we needed and when we decided to rent a car, she assisted in the process. Johnny kept the grounds looking immaculate and we also hired him to make a wonderful meal one evening. We didn’t run into Victor the night security often, but when we did, he was always friendly. It really was a wonderful place to stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to do so again if our future plans take us to Roatan.

Best House on Roatan

If you are looking for a relaxed, authentic, tastefully decorated Roatan beach house that is just steps from the water and some of the best snorkeling on the island look no further. This place was perfect for our family of four. The staff is wonderful and super attentive to any need. The restaurants a short walk down the beach are great (Blue Bahia and Tranquilseas). We rented a car and appreciated the freedom to be able to drive into West End and to the supermarket in Coxen Hole (each about 15 mins). The kitchen was recently upgraded and the old windows mentioned in some reviews have been replaced with brand new ones. The house has resident geckos on the walls which occasionally chirp and quietly catch any bugs that make it through the screens - a major plus. We experienced a power outage which I think is not uncommon in the winter. The beach between the house and the restaurants has had some security incidents in the last month and it was not recommended to take night strolls - but with Victor (night watchman) escorting us to dinner we felt very safe. This place is highly recommended - it is so much nicer than most of the places in West Bay / West End. Can't wait to return.

Beach house on the water!

If you want direct access to the water with your own dock this is the place for you. The location was private but accessible to snorkeling, diving, kayaking, fishing and swimming. This is a local area but there are a couple of restaurants nearby. The house was spacious for our family of four. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had every thing we needed to cook our own meals. This is an island home and not a luxury resort so expect geckos and insects but also it is surrounded by fruit trees. We had an abundance of mangos and star fruit which were in season. Miriam did an outstanding job of communicating with us about activities and how things worked in the house. She was available at all hours. (The electricity went out one night and she let us know immediately what to expect). She coordinated rides into West End, tours for snorkeling and fishing as well as visiting Jungle Maya to see the sloths. If you want to play in the water and enjoy fun without the night life off West End this is the house for you.

Location is everything

5 star for both location and property staff. Location: cannot be beat for snorkeling, privacy, beauty. Property staff: again Miriam, Johnny, victor are above and beyond expectation in responsiveness, information, courtesy. House: AC in both bedrooms are wonderful, however ac in living room cannot compete with lack of closing windows in kitchen and living room. Our stay was 12 days, and included necessary cooking. Because the kitchen windows did not close, the heat in the kitchen was almost intolerable. I felt it was easily remedied by a curtain between the kitchen and the living room. The kitchen would still be hot, but at least the living room AC could keep up. I Acknowledge our stay was in September which is very hot. Bugs were to be expected, but because the kitchen was very outdated it seemed that termite debris was prevalent. That said, the kitchen was well equipped. Overall 5 star but kitchen caveat. Would stay again.

Ultimate Beach Getaway!

My partner and I had an absolutely marvellous time during our stay at this beautiful well maintained beach house. The huge deck complete with a dining table, deck and lounge chairs is where we spent most of our time, enjoying watching the dolphins, boats meandering by, horse back riders or simply reading a book. Morning coffees and breakfast on the deck overlooking the beautiful aqua ocean was ultimately the best part of the day!! This property is in a quiet location with just enough action to keep it interesting and close enough to town if you want to go shop, to a restaurant or out for the evening . Spectacular snorkelling right off the dock with the extra bonus of watching the dolphins was one of our favourite day time activities!! It has a fully equipped kitchen, a master bedroom with patio doors overlooking the ocean (bonus!!), a huge living room (which we never used as we were always on the deck). The property manager John who has been living in Roatan for many years was absolutely amazing....he was a walking encyclopedia on what to do in Roatan; citing the best restaurants based on what you wanted to eat, which bars to frequent based on who was playing where; which dive company to use, which sites to visit etc etc. His top notch professional customer service definitely played a key role in our amazing stay at the beach house and in Roatan. Thanks John and Lucille (owner)!!! I highly recommend this property for a vacation getaway!!!

Wonderful family vacation

This was our second time on the island and we had another amazing vacation. We stayed in the beach house and in the cabana. Both homes were beautifully maintained with everything we needed. Halfway during our stay they cleaned and gave us fresh towels. The grounds were well maintained and the beach was raked regularly. We loved sitting out on the large deck having our morning coffee or afternoon drinks. The dock has a great sitting area at the end where we would watch the dolphins at Anthony’s Key play just across the channel. The coral reef was within swimming distance from the beach so we were able to snorkel every day seeing some beautiful fish, stingrays etc. Miriam, our hostess, was absolutely incredible. Anything we needed she would get for us right away. She made sure we also had rides to anywhere we wanted to go and arranged our excursions. She recommended some great places to eat and see. She even helped us by driving us to the hospital on Christmas Eve when our son had an emergency! The Sanctuary is located beside a local community so there is lots of activity. We would often hear dogs barking and children playing. Christmas tradition there is to set off fireworks and fire crackers so it was quite loud in the evenings and at night. We always felt very safe with Victor the night guard patrolling the grounds with his dog Roy every night we were there. We were able to walk to 3 great restaurants - Blue Bahia, Sunken Fish and Anthony’s Key. We were also able to walk to the Carambola Botanical Gardens just across the road and had a great hike to the lookout at the top of the mountain. Our other excursions were a great snorkeling trip with Oscar where we were taken to 5 different snorkeling spots and had a wonderful lunch with delicious local cuisine in Punta Gorda. Oscar also took us on a great fishing trip and when back he made us some delicious ceviche with the fish that was caught, He was a fantastic guide! We also went to Gumbalimba Park and had a great tour in this beautiful park in West Bay. The location of the Sanctuary has lots of activity with local people and boat traffic. It is easily accessible to so many places. The coral reef being within swimming distance was really wonderful as we all love to snorkel and could go anytime we wanted. I would highly recommend staying at The Sanctuary. We had a wonderful vacation there!

Best beach house on Sandy Bay

For us this beach house was the best on the beach. From what I could see it was the closest to the water and it had it's own private dock that we enjoyed swimming from. It had amazing views. Waking up from the master bedroom with an expansive view of only water beyond the patio was amazing. There is a caretaker of the property that takes care of everything including rides to West End, West Bay, and to and from the airport. The care taker even drove us to Little French Key. We made sure that we paid what we would have paid other taxies. But since it was like a private service available whenever we needed it we chose to pay a little bit more. It was so nice to have someone available and to take care of us whenever we needed it. There is a security guard on the property and we felt very safe. It was fun interacting and watching locals from the neighborhood carry on with their daily activities. The beach house was very well furnished with all the spices, extra condiments, and extra things to make the trip very comfortable. Overall I would highly recommend staying here.

Everything we were looking for!

Having traveled to roatan for the last 8 years we have stayed all over the island and this was by far the best location! A short walk along the beach gets you to Blue Bahia which has excellent food! Especially love their lobster!! A short walk the other way and you are at Anthonys key where you can set up a dolphin adventure, diving, snorkeling etc. But the best place at this house is at the end of your pier, obsessively watching the dolphins, snorkeling, and watching th beautiful sunsets. Miriam and Johnny Are wonderful and do a great job taking care of you while there, and are full of good info about the island. We can’t wait to go back!!!

We enjoyed our stay at the sanctuary and would like to come back. No complaints really, however we would suggest bringing your own snorkel masks—masks provided were not very comfortable—but other than that everything was great! Miriam was very helpful—we really appreciated everything she did for us. We especially liked having the security guard on the grounds at night and safes in the rooms. We felt very safe!

Cant find a better place

You really cant find a place with a better view and relaxing atmosphere. We loved our stay. Our only recommendation is if you would like to sleep past sunrise bring some earplugs. Being in the jungle the birds come early along with other noises. Would 100% book this again without even shopping around. Absolutely delightful.

Beachfront sunny Caribbean cottage - awesome!

Everything about this property is great- We loved watching the dolphins everyday and snorkeling right from the dock. The staff was very accommodating. It is not fancy, but has a true roatan feel - we would go again and stay longer!

Great location in Sandy Bay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Sanctuary in Roatan. The house was located in walking distance to our dive shop, Octopus Dive School, as well as other beachside restaurants. We loved watching the dolphins at Anthony’s Key while hanging on the porch in the hammocks. The house is well worn with some needed updating but we knew this was the case due to past reviews. John & Christy were very helpful with the house as well as suggesting restaurants and activities. Overall our family loved Roatan and hope to return soon to continue our diving adventures.

Beautiful stay at the Sanctuary

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 week stay at the Beach House in the Sanctuary Compound. Beautiful views of Anthony's Cay, sunsets, the reef etc. We loved the easy access to the snorkeling, as well as into West End and Coxen Hole. John and Christy couldn't have been more helpful and responsive to all our requests and feedback. The house itself was good for most of our needs, however it was definitely tired around the edges, particularly the kitchen counters, the chopping block (both health hazards!), some utensils were missing, one of the beds and a key board in the deck required repair. Once all these issues were resolved we were more than satisfied with our stay.
