Family fun at its best. You are steps away from West Bay Beach, scuba diving, restaurants, and activities of all kinds.

Casa Tortuga Bucedore (Home of the Diving Turtle) features spectacular views, inground pool, and white sand beach. It is a private Condo on the first floor that is steps away from the best beach on Roatan (West Bay) and a water taxi to West End.

Their are only 6 units in this condo. We are the middle unit on the bottom floor. It's a single story floor plan with steps into the condo from the parking and off the deck to the beach.

West Bay Beach is Roatan's most popular stretch of sand...which can mean it gets pretty busy some days! But don't worry, Bayside Villa 2B is located just at the edge of the beach, away from the crowds. Look for the island's parrots, find the Roatan Brewery, go to Gumbalimba Park, and Snorkel at the far end of West Bay Beach.

Great place to stay. My family and I loved it. It has great views and a nice private beach. The only problem is the boats travel fairly close but still very enjoyable. Definitely will be visiting again.

We love staying with Laura and Kevin as host they make everything so smooth. It truly is the best spot on the Beach. Next to the dive center and the nest happy hour as well.

This condo is in the perfect location. Close to West Bay Beach but far enough away for a tranquil vacation and beach right out front (literally steps away). Owner was quick to answer all our questions and property manager is onsite. We stayed 2 weeks….and have already booked for next year!

The condo is exactly as pictured. The property manager John was very responsive and helpful. The Las Rocas dive shop next door was great. The swimming directly in front of the condo isn’t very good. There is lots of sea grass and not very deep but West Bay beach is a short walk for swimming. Nice set of pots and pans for stovetop cooking. Very peaceful area with great views

Perfect place for a calm, relaxing week in paradise! Quick walk to West Bay Beach but could easily escape back to your peaceful retreat if things got too crowded. Easy water taxi dock right next door, and great restaurants nearby to grab a meal or just have a drink. A meal in West End is a must! The condo is clean, comes fully equipped, and it was super helpful having a washer and dryer in the unit. The deck was perfect place for your coffee in the morning or watching the beautiful sunset every night. Thank you, Kevin and John - we will be back!

The condo is exactly as described. The location is perfect. Steps away from West Bay and walkable to West End. We really enjoyed coffee and cocktails on the deck as we watched the waves. John went above and beyond to take care of anything we needed.

Incredible location next to West Bay beach with unobstructed view of the ocean only steps away. Except for a kettle to make tea, this condo has everything. Spacious and comfortable with a great kitchen.Some difficulty accessing internet upon arrival, but when Johnny the property manager arrived he sorted that all out.If I come to Roatan again, I would try to rent here.

Great location

The description of property is perfect. Close enough to main beach and restaurants, but away from the crowds. You really have your own beach area steps away from your deck.

This must be the best location in West Bay!!! We enjoyed the beach, the ocean, the pool all so much. You are so close to restaurants but out of the hustle and bustle. Kitchen was well stocked. Large living room with comfy sofa. We will be back!

Fabulous Location

I would highly highly recommend this accomodation. The location was in my opinion the best in West Bay - within walking distance of the entire West Bay Area yet secluded at the oceanfront condo. Property manager on site was always quick to respond and extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent stay :)

Away from the crowds

We really enjoyed having our own space on the beach. The pool was a bit brisk, but provided great relief from the heat. Morning coffee and evening drinks on the deck were our favorite part.

Kevin responded promptly when I had questions. John, the property manager, was onsite if we needed anything. The condo is exactly what is pictured. The couch was comfortable. The bed was soft enough for me and firm enough for my husband. The sheets were a little rough for my liking. It was really nice to have a/c in the bedroom and main living area. Fullsize washer and dryer were wonderfull.

This is our second time at this condo for my wife and two close friends. This time we stayed two weeks. Owner recently updated kitchen counter tops. While there owner had new patio furniture delivered. Very comfortable. John the property manager took very good care of us. This year he bought himself a nice fishing boat. He took us out fishing for a reasonable fee. This condo is near a restaurant, Las Rocas. We ate there many many times. Very good food. This year we took a water taxi to The Drunken Sailor restaurant. Exceptional food from Italian food. The other restaurant we loved was Kristi's. Check this condo out!

Great location

We had a fantastic time at this condo. View was wonderful. John the property manager, Kevin owner of condo and Frankie and Eric our drivers were all very accommodating and helpful. Location is close to west bay activities but far enough away for quiet time to relax on patio. Will definitely be going back.

Best location it is!!! Quiet and relaxing beach to yourself. John was a huge help and Julio takes care of the grounds and always happy to see you.Kevin the host gave great advise on driver Frankie. West Bay beach for snorkeling is a 20 minute walk and the best off the beach snorkeling.

At the beach

Very good location and excellent place for families. It is close to dive shops, restaurants, at the beach. All people we came in contact with were very helpful and friendly. They helped arrange airport transportation and were very accommodating when we had an issue with one of the air conditioner units and promptly replaced it. The only issue I had with the property was not really their responsibility as there were several power failures during the week and no backup generator which would be a good investment. All in all in was a great place to stay and I would highly recommend it.

Kevin and Laura purchased this piece of paradise in 2018 and used Roatan Vacation Rentals to manage the property until mid 2023. When we took over the management, we had to start a new VRBO account. So please be patient as we build up the reviews.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We are avid scuba divers and visit every year to enjoy the pristine waters. The pictures in the dining area were taken during our dives by Kevin. We dive with Las Rocas which is right next door. And we love to eat there too.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Casa Tortuga Bucedore is part of a 6 unit condo right next to the beginning of West Bay Beach. So you get the amenities of a private rental and quick access to amazing restaurants and scuba shops. No car rental needed!
