What an amazing place to stay in wine county!!! The accommodations were 5 star all the way! It was the best place to wind down and relax after a day roaming around all the wineries. And the pool. There are not enough descriptive words to explain how that was the perfect end of day and before breakfast relaxation moment. We did have a few snafus of our own making. But we were greeted with all the support we needed. We recommend this place for all wine county getaways. Not to far away from all the hubub of the wineries, but far enough away to relax. The wheat fields surrounding the property create an amazing view. Stay here. You will not be disappointed!
We love this home and all the amenities. The pool is perfect and the house is laid out nicely to accommodate all of us. We stay here every year and have already booked next year's trip.
Fantastic very comfortable home close to all Walla Walla winery tasting rooms. Owner was very communicative and helpful, we would recommend this place and would come back again when the weather was a little warmer to enjoy the pool more! Beautiful quiet country location yet still close to town. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.
We came with 3 couples for a weekend of relaxing by the pool and wine tasting. This house fit the bill perfectly! It is so quiet and private - we loved being able to play music and enjoy the pool with no neighbors!
The house was well equipped with glasses and necessary supplies, and had plenty of seating inside and out. Great stay
Had a wonderful girls weekend here! Gorgeous views of the wheat fields from the pool, loved having the Adirondack chairs for lounging next to the pool too! Inside was really spacious and cool for reprieve from the outside heat. Would absolutely stay here again!
The house was perfect, the view and property were beautiful and the host was incredibly helpful and responsive. Check-in & out directions were simple and the house was well stocked with all necessary items. The pool was wonderful and included some floaties. Our trip couldnât have been better!
We had a group of 4 couples come and stay for the 3 day weekend. It was great staying away from town and get the quiet of the country. We have rented multiple house with pools over the years in the Walla Walla area and this pool was by far the best. The house was spacious and inviting. The owners were wonderful. We would absolutely stay here again!
The house and property are perfectly maintained, making this a great place to stay for a relaxing weekend. The seclusion is ideal and the pool is such a fun bonus. I will definitely rent from Tom again in the future because this place incredible.
We had such a great time this last weekend and this is our second time staying here and we will for sure be returning again! Itâs nice and quiet and beautiful surroundings! Love it!!!
We had a wonderful time! The house is exceptional and clean and comfortable, and the grounds are well-appointed. The hosts were kind and gracious. We stayed with a group of 6 ladies, and had a really comfortable and fun stay. I'd like to bring my family back in the near future! I would highly recommend!
We loved staying at this home. We had a total of 3 couples in the house and we could have easily added a 4th couple, plenty of space. We staying in July so the pool was amazing. Very clean house. When we go back to Walla Walla with a group, we will stay at this home if available.
This house was absolutely fantastic. We had four adult couples and everything was very comfortable and perfect for a long weekend enjoying wine country. Being just outside of town was a nice change too - it's not far at all from everything. Clean, generally well stocked, and open living space allows everyone to hang out together very easily. We will most definitely be back!
This property was perfect for our stay in Walla Walla. It is close to the wineries and yet secluded and peaceful. We had everything we needed and more. Tom was awesome with his instant replies. and helpfulness. The two couples we stayed with are also looking to rent it again in the future. Gorgeous sunsets!
Seriously folks, this was the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. Beautiful and comfortable inside and out, with the most thoughtful supplies and amenities I've ever seen. Everything you could possibly need in a vacation rental is stocked. Comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, and immaculate pool. The location is indeed smack in the middle of wheat fields and feels wonderfully isolated...but only a quick 10-minute drive to town and grocery stores. We had an amazing time, thank you Tom!
This property looks fantastic in the listing and it more than delivered! Our group loved the house overall, especially the layout that balanced private spaces with group gathering spaces, the decor, the amount of outdoor seating areas, the sunset views, and, of course, the pool! The host was easy to communicate with and helped us out with a special request. Everything was absolutely perfect and everyone mentioned how great the house was!
The house was perfect for 4 couples coming to Walla Walla for crush weekend. The setting is beautiful, surrounded by wheat fields and only 10 mins to downtown. We already discussed renting again in the summer so we can enjoy the pool. The house is well equipped even had board games and cards. We were even able to stream the college football games on the tv using our laptop. We will be back!
Nice home in a lovely setting amongst the rolling hills just outside of Walla Walla. The host thought of just about everything a guest might need (or forget to bring) and stocked the home with those items. And having your own quiet pool to jump in on those 90+ degree afternoons (between wine tastings and dinner) was just perfect.
Thank you! Thank you!
Great location and had a great time. Couple of things for owner info. There were a few ants in downstairs bathroom. The downstairs shower control needs attention. barbecue ran out of propane while cooking the only dinner we had at the property. Otherwise perfect.
This property is very nice. You need to be aware that it is in the middle of nowhere but has a wonderful swimming pool and lots of peace and quiet. It was just what we ( 8 Adults) were looking for. Kitchen was very good. We could not use the washing machine because the well pump was not working properly which was a big disappointment and inconvenience. We made many attempts to contact the owner who had previously said he could do a temporary fix, but he never returned our calls and texts. So while the property is nice the customer service was sorely lacking.
We came to spend time as two sets of empty-nester parents. Our goals were to relax, get away from our busy professional lives, try some of Walla Wallaâs wineries and restaurants, and have some time together.
The house exceeded all expectations. Located well out in the country, it is in a quiet, scenic location. Wow the scenery of Palouse wheatfields is not for everyone, the sense of solitude and quiet were welcome breaks from urban lives.
The house is just a few miles out of town, so, while nothing is within walking distance, everything is within a 10 to 15 minute drive. Not that you need to go anywhere; the kitchen is well stocked, thereâs lots of room for everyone, and the pool is large, clean, and very pleasant.
As you might expect, the four of us only used two of the mini bedrooms. The house is quite capable of welcoming, many more people, but even for the four of us, things felt warm and welcoming.
When we return to Walla Walla, we will look again for the same home. Five stars on every count!
Tom and I fell in love with Walla Walla years ago, and we've always held it in our hearts as a special place to relax and find some quiet time among amazing views. I grew up in Portland, but I attended Whitman back in the 80âs and I dare say my heart never left.
We own a fantastic pizza restaurant 12 miles east of here (called American 35) in Waitsburg. Thatâs not just a brag; I can say that because of our 4.9 star rating! Tom also owns a mobile catering business called Fiasco Wood-Fired Pizza. Hosting guests, at the restaurant or at home, is the thing we love to do the most. Weâre honored that people choose to celebrate their special occasions with us, and we work hard to create the best experiences that we can.
We purchased this property due to its unique characteristics. There aren't many contemporary houses with this kind of space, near to town. It has the wonderful ability to be remote and private, while being so close to Walla Walla's dynamic community.
"Andare" in Italian is the verb "To Be". It also means to simply stay in one place. It perfectly describes how we feel when we're here. When weâre thoroughly content and having a nice time with people we love, thereâs no desire to be anywhere else. We have worked to make our home as inviting to you as we find it ourselves.
