The Space:
Welcome to Zana Del Mar, your tropical oasis nestled in the charming Villa Palmira community in Humacao, Puerto Rico. This spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom property offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and coastal living. Just steps away from Playa Punta Santiago, you'll experience the ultimate beach getaway with easy access to sun, sand, and surf.
The property is fully air conditioned and has a washer and dryer for your convenience.
LIVING SPACES
Step into relaxation in the airy and inviting living room, complete with a comfortable sofa, seating area for 4 guests, and a flat-screen TV for entertainment after a day of exploring. Zana Del Mar offers tons of natural light through large windows. The open-concept layout seamlessly connects the living area to the dining space, creating a perfect gathering spot for family and friends.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
Zana Del Mar comfortably sleeps 6 guests in three well-appointed bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts a king bed and features an ensuite bathroom. The second and third bedrooms feature cozy queen beds, ensuring everyone has a cozy spot to recharge after a day of adventure. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom that is located in the hallway.
PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY):
We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.
KITCHEN AND DINING AREA
Zana Del Mar features a spacious and fully equipped kitchen, complete with modern appliances. You'll find everything you need for an extended stay. The kitchen features a stove, oven, microwave, full-size refrigerator and freezer, coffee maker, toaster, and a blender. The dining area is right next to the kitchen and features a dining table for six guests.
OUTDOOR AREAS
Zana del Mar offers a covered terrace and a patio. There is an outdoor BBQ grill so that you can dine al fresco and savor your meals while soaking in the tropical breeze. The terrace has an outdoor dining table for four guests and a seating area with three outdoor armchairs.
GETTING AROUND & PARKING
The property includes parking for up to two (2) cars.
We strongly recommend renting a car to be able to move around the area. Ubers are not readily available in the area and cannot be relied on.
LOCATION
Our property is situated in the charming Villa Palmira community in Humacao, Puerto Rico. It is surrounded by the natural beauty of the nearby Playa Punta Santiago.
Besides enjoying the beautiful villa, there are many things to do in the surrounding areas, here are some of our favorites:
Chill at Playa Punta Santiago! The property has beach chairs, towels, and a cooler for a long day at the beach. The beach is just a short stroll away.
Many times during the year, the beach at Punta Santiago is susceptible to high tides, which makes for unfavorable conditions. If this is the case when you visit donât worry you can visit the beautiful Seven Seas Beach, 45 minutes away, in the town of Fajardo, which is a fantastic beach!
Visit the Humacao Nature Reserve. Enjoy an amazing day surrounded by nature. The Humacao Nature Reserve has a variety of activities that can make your day memorable.
Visit Punta Santiago Old Pier, where you can find nice spots to walk, take pictures, and enjoy the view of other small islands that are close to Humacao.
Visit Palmas del Mar Beach Resort. They tend to sell daily passes and It is just a 20-minute drive away. You can visit Resort Pass to check cost and availability.

STARTER AMENITIES
At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay.
All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach towel per guest.
We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:
- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom)
- 3 garbage bags
- 1 roll of paper towels
- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)
- 1 dish soap
- 1 dish sponge
- A small amount of laundry detergent
Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guestâs responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay.
Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation.
HOUSE RULES
RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.
NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.
NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.
QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.
UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 6 adults/children at all times, including visitors.
OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.
TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.
TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.
SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that.
If youâd like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and weâll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule.
If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival.
Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. For late check-out requests, please reach out the day before your departure, and weâll be happy to check availability for you.
TRAVEL INSURANCE / HURRICANE SEASON
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, not only during the peak months of Hurricane Season (July to October) but also throughout the year to cover unexpected events such as travel delays, pandemics, or other unforeseen issues.
Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase.
