Août 2018 - Nouvelles photos ajoutées. Je viens de passer une semaine agréable et relaxante en vacances à la maison et à explorer les environs. J'ai hâte de revenir avec des amis pour partager mes nouvelles découvertes. Comme d'habitude, une partie de mon plaisir comprend le travail sur la maison et la mise à jour de quelques choses. J'ai l'intention d'apprécier cette maison autant que possible. Par conséquent, je l'ai rendu aussi confortable et agréable que possible pour mon plaisir personnel.

MISE À JOUR D'OURAGAN: La maison est prête à recevoir à nouveau des invités. Nous avons eu beaucoup de chance pendant la tempête, subissant des dommages minimes.

Profitez d'une vue imprenable sur l'océan depuis le confort de cette maison en bord de mer récemment rénovée dans une communauté de plage privée et fermée. AUCUNE AUTRE MAISON DANS LA COMMUNAUTÉ N'OFFRE LES VUES, LA PROXIMITÉ ET LE CONFORT QUE CETTE MAISON DOIT OFFRIR. Profitez de la vue sur l'océan depuis le salon, la salle à manger, la cuisine, les chambres et la cour! Franchissez les doubles portes du salon ou de la chambre principale vers deux porches couverts donnant sur l'océan. La maison peut accueillir 10+ personnes confortablement. La chambre principale, avec une vue panoramique sur l'océan, a un lit king size, sa salle de bain privée et un porche privé donnant sur la plage et l'océan. La maison a également une deuxième chambre principale avec un lit queen et une salle de bain privée. Il y a deux chambres supplémentaires avec lits queen et un canapé-lit queen dans le salon. Il y a un total de trois salles de bains, toutes récemment rénovées en 2017. La salle à manger peut accueillir 6 à table et 2 autres au comptoir de la cuisine. Berceau et chaise haute sont disponibles pour les petits voyageurs.

La maison dispose de deux coins salons extérieurs couverts pour se détendre et regarder le surf se briser sur la plage. Que ce soit du café le matin, une bonne bière fraîche l'après-midi ou du vin le soir, vous apprécierez la brise de l'océan.

Pour les grands groupes jusqu'à 22 personnes, nous avons une autre belle maison de vacances à proximité pouvant accueillir encore 12 personnes. Veuillez vous renseigner.

Seniors

There were three senior couples (65) who stay for 8 days at the property. We loved it! The location was private and not far from major attractions. The property was very clean and all on one floor…the pool was a big hit after a long day of sight seeing. The ocean was almost in the back yard and listening to surf was soothing. The natural reserve abuts the property and can be easily accessed via trails. The property owner very quickly responded to any questions or issues we encountered.

Paradise

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this fabulous piece of paradise. It had everything we needed. Would be nice if could cut off pool light so doesnt attract so many bugs at night and bigger pan for cooking for my big crew but it was still amazing and would definitely stay again.

A great house, private pool, and views of the ocean!

This was our first time in Puerto Rico and it was an amazing trip for our family! The house is in a peaceful community which we truly appreciated after full days of hiking, sightseeing, and exploring the island. We especially loved the private pool and being just steps from a quiet beach—listening to the sound of the ocean was a dream! The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for our group. Rick was an outstanding host—very responsive and helpful both before and during our stay. We loved our experience and hope to return one day!

Spring break

This is the second time we have stayed at one of Ricks properties. They are always well stocked and very clean, lots of pool toys, beach chairs, towels and even boogie boards. The local beach can sometimes have a lot of seaweed and other times is really clear, we had better luck going at low tide to avoid seaweed. We lost power for 2 days, but fortunately the grill worked as our oven and with the windows open the house was not unbearably hot. Rick was great with communication. Enjoyed our stay

Great First Visit

Our family was taking our first visit to Puerto Rico and we loved it. We stayed in three different locations and this home in Humacao was our favorite. It's a bit off the beaten path relative to the other major locations (San Juan, Fajardo, Luquillo, etc) but that means it's very quiet which is what we prefer. We took day trips to a few other locations but the beach here was our kids favorite though it did have seaweed and not a ton of sandy beach. The home itself was clean and we also appreciated how well equipped it was: beach toys, kitchen utensils, pans, etc.The gated community was quiet, friendly, and peaceful.Size was more than adequate for the seven of us, we had space to hang out inside or sit out by the pool, which was also a hit with the younger kids in particular.The host was helpful and very responsive. I hope to return to Puerto Rico and we will definitely consider staying here again if we are able.

Secret hideaway!

We traveled with 4 couples and had plenty of house space. The pool was amazing and clean and the beach was a few steps away! We will return again!

Nice property!

This was our 3rd visit to Puerto Rico but the first time staying in this area. The location was very convenient for all of the activities we wanted to see and do. We spent plenty of time at the property also. The pool area was so comfortable and private. One of our favorite things was walking just a short distance to the beach where we could enjoy our afternoons without being amongst a lot of people. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if we go back to PR.

Nice house and pool and location

Very nice house and pool. Easy walk to the nature preserve. A few miles from lots of shopping. Two decent restaurants basically at the community’s entrance. The gated community with all the houses with bars on the windows and doors was off putting but that apparently is how it is throughout PR.Rick was extremely responsive and available. Couldn’t ask for a better host.

Wonderful property

You get the best of both worlds with the beach and pool at this home. It was clean and the beds were comfy. Very spacious. There were 5 of us and we never felt like we were on top of each other. There are shops and restaurants close by. Bocata and El Kafe became repeat favorites!Rick was very quick to respond to any questions we had and it was a great trip.

Everything about the house was excellent. Check in to check out was super easy and the Rick was so easy to communicate with.The location was perfect for beach going and taking walks through the preserve.Fantastic views from the pool patio and everything you could want for the patio or the beach was provided.I'll definitely be back.

The perfect place to celebrate my birthday with friends!

I could gush all day about the great location, the beautiful beach just steps away, the accommodating and kind host, the amenities that you want and need, just about everything you could hope for! It's less than an hour from the hustle of San Juan, and feels like a remote location, but it's just 10 minutes fast food, Walmart and other shopping options. We had a couple of hiccups with plumbing and a failed AC, but Rick had an HVAC tech and a plumber there in less than 12 hours! Can't complain about that kind of response from a host!!! The house was clean, had a well-stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, and a beautiful pool It was the perfect place to celebrate my "holy cow, I'm old" birthday with friends.

Mission Trip

This was actually our 2nd time staying here. We brought a large Mission Team to Humacao and rented several homes! I love this space and its views! Morning coffee on the patio was awesome! The house had everything we could possibly need and the owner super helpful! We will definitely be back again!

Our second stay here

We girst stayed at this VRBO in Nov 2019. Have done other places three last few years and now decided to return to our favorite. We like Rick"s place because it has a pool, nice outdoor area and basically a private beach just a couple hundred feet away. It's not the prettiest beach but we love that it's there if we want to walk over from the house and stick our feet in the sand. If you want to lay on a beautiful white sandy beach under an umbrella, this ain't it. But we like the cute, clean house and the pool and yard and listening to the ocean while we enjoyed our morning coffee. The house is within a gated community so it's quiet and not in the middle of a touristy area or a party zone. WalMart and Ralph's are just a couple miles from the house, as well as several restaurants and fast food type places. Fajardo is about a 30 minute drive. Drive to/from the airport was about an hour. Thanks, Rick, for another wonderful stay.

Great family location

We had a fabulous time exploring Puerto Rico’s attractive from this location. We also really enjoyed the beach, pool and nature reserve right from the house. The home has everything you need from kitchen supplies, to laundry room to beach towels and chairs. We had an easy time communicating with the owner Rick who was very accommodating. We look forward to future visits!

Great Option in Quiet Area

This location wound up being a great low-key option as a base for several days on the island -- easy access to Humacao, plenty of space, sounds of the beach, and a great private pool. Worked out very well for our family!

Great place to stay

We had a great time in this house. Great pool-area and very close to the beach! This house is better than the photos! Rick was very helpful and responded quickly when we had questions. We highly recommend this place and wish that our stay had last a little longer! We were a group of 8 persons and everyone enjoyed the place!!

Quiet stay with decent access to activities

We came in a group of 7, ages 3-73. The property itself was wonderful- clean, updated, multiple outdoor sitting areas, and it had a nice pool/grill that we all enjoyed. The host (Rick) was very quick to respond and helpful. Perfect for a large group with different schedules and interests. The property is beach front, but there are bushes in between the property and the beach so it’s not a direct view of the ocean (didn’t bother us). The beach is very quiet and part of the Humacao Nature Reserve, so very natural and easy to explore that area. The water was swimmable and we enjoyed it, but lots of seaweed on the sand. On our 3rd day, we discovered a perfect place to sit in the grass under a palm tree with shade and wind, right on the beach! There are about 2-3 decent restaurants right outside the gates of the community, plus a cute town called Nuagaro about 15 minutes away with lots of places to eat. You can also get to the islands from here, but the ferry is about a 30 minute drive and you need reservations in advance. El Yunque Rainforest visitor center is about 45 minutes away.

Relaxed vacation

Everything we needed was in the home. The location was close enough to travel to Vieques. Some nice walks on the beach and playing in the pool was the best things about our stay!
