Great House for a big family

The property was clean and equipped with pretty much everything. Lots of room for kids to play too. Kitchen is big and easy to use for several people at a time.

Perfect Gold Beach rental

Our group of five loved this home. The kitchen was spacious stocked with cookware, appliances, lots of light. The ocean view was stunning through a wall of floor to ceiling windows. We had a wonderful time! I'll definitely recommend it to friends.

Perfect Beach House

Great Beach house with tons of room and beautiful views. Lots of space to do things together as a family or to take a break by yourself for a minute. Easy walk to the beach and a short drive to town.

RELAXATION

My husband and I stayed here with our children and grandchild. The view says it all! We usually go camping in Fort Bragg for my birthday but decided on this home this year and so glad we did. Any questions we had were immediately answered by management. We will most definitely stay here again!

Marvelously wonderful

This is the fourth of fifth time we have stayed at the Castle. Always a great experience. The ocean view from the downstairs through the magnificent front windows and also the upstairs TV room and master suite have the same view. The basement has a really nice have room area for adults, teens, and children. It's just a couple blocks to a great beach walk from the house. This time there was new carpet in the bedrooms to supplement the beautiful tile floors. An awesome stay for everyone, even for the weekend.

Absolutely Awesome

We loved the location. We did not feel like we were surrounded by homes and actually felt quite private with a short walk to the beach. The Beach was clean and peaceful. We maybe saw 10 people over the course our our vacation on the beach. The home was very nice and full of amenities. The home has everything you need for your comfort with the game room down stairs indoor and outdoor activities kept us all very entertained.

What a wonderful vacay!

Very clean....we loved the views of the ocean..unobstructed with any other houses....we could see the ocean from every bedroom in the house!. Enjoyed the ease and proximity to getting to the beach ! House was well equipped with all the things we needed..nice little touches.. everywhere we looked!...kitchen had so many spices. Was well decorated...and had a huge variety of books, games, puzzles. Kids were thrilled to discover even sand toys in a bin in the game room. We picked and picked and picked the blackberies close to the house. Made blackberry cheesecake and blackberry shakes! It was a great stay!

Beautiful View

The house sits at the end of a court and is very private and quiet. The hot tub was awesome after a day at the beach. The kitchen was well stocked and nice and big and tons of seating for family dining. The view of the beach from the house is great, but you can't really hear the waves from the house. The hike to the beach is not too far. My 75-year-old mother was able to do it with help for the last bit up and down the dune. The beach is great, tons of sand and very few people, it felt like a private beach most days. My only complaint is the downstairs living room has no TV. The only TV is upstairs in the loft but when our kids were bunking up there it wasn't easy to get to it. The downstairs is in need of more seating. There is a couch and two chairs. Not enough for a house that sleeps 14. All the furniture is very outdated and in need of replacing. The bathrooms were updated and stocked well. The upstairs beds were firm but comfortable. The beds downstairs were very hard. We had an age range from 11-75 in our group and everyone enjoyed the game room. It made a great addition to the house. A fridge down there would have made it perfect but we made do with a cooler. If you want to be right on the beach it isn't as close as you think, But if you want a quiet private place this is perfect. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Nice view beach house and short walk to the beach. We had a great time there.

Great view to the sunset or sun rise from the house. The house had almost everything that we needed. We enjoyed it. We’ll stay there again if we come back to Brookings in the future.

Great place to stay!

The ocean view from the living room was spectacular through the wall of floor-to-ceiling windows. The stormwatching was outstanding! The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen of any place I've rented. We cooked all our meals there. Everything was clean and comfortable. The indoor Jade Trees, just wow! We had a great time and will definitely recommend it to friends.

Beautiful views in a secluded section of Gold Brach

The view was incredible and the best part of the house! Plenty of supplies and everything was stocked (thanks for the coffee)! Didn’t realize the primary bedroom had two beds so we had to do some shuffling of the kids, but overall a great stay!
