• Cracked Conch & Macabuca Tiki Bar – Roughly 5–7 minutes’ drive; Macabuca offers casual oceanside bites and drinks, while Cracked Conch serves upscale Caribbean inspired fare with gorgeous sunset views.

• Calypso Grill – Around 8–10 minutes’ drive at Morgan’s Harbour, known for fresh seafood, cozy service, and a classic “by the water” feel.

Supermarkets are closed on Sundays in Cayman, though most restaurants and gas stations remain open, and some gas stations sell liquor on Sundays. Grocery items can also be pre-ordered and delivered before arrival.

TRANSPORTATION

• A rental car is highly recommended for this area so guests can easily explore Grand Cayman at their own pace.

• Many guests book directly with trusted local providers such as Marshall’s Rent-A-Car, Andy's Rent-A-Car, or compare options through Kayak.

• Public transportation is a short walk away, having a car offers the greatest convenience and flexibility.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT

Check out is self service at 11:00 AM, with clear instructions provided; late check out is only available if pre arranged, as time is needed to prepare for incoming guests.

Nice place

Lovely condo but definitely pricier than I would like. Stayed on property before for less, but this was only one available. It was very nice, only complaint is the steep price.

Honest review. We have rented in Coconut Bay many times prior to this stay.

The property was lovely. There were a few grocery supplies provided which was appreciated. Upon arrival, wifi did not work. It was eventually repaired by Sherine calling the server. The TV sets never worked. Sherine explained that the lack of hooks inside the bathrooms for hanging towels, etc were never replaced by the painters. Consequently, she put hang racks over the doors which prevented the bathroom doors from fully closing and damaged the top of each of the bathroom door frames. One bathroom had a semi caved in ceiling upon arrival.Someone drilled holes into the patio wall for a rack to hang some items like towels.The large hooks on the patio were in place, but the rod for hanging wetsuits, etc and plastic hangers were missing. Sherine explained that the workers never put the missing pieces back. We asked that she kindly rehang the bar and hangers so we could hang our wet suits & gear to dry outside like many other surrounding units have. We showed her an example next door. She agreed. She never came back to replace the missing pieces. We never saw her again. It is inconvenient to not have a place to hang wet gear on the patio and we doubt any owner would want such in their unit.Sherine told us that we were not to reach out to management anymore. In reality, we never reached out to management except to report the lack of wifi upon arrival. In short, the unit has great potential but the renovation evidently was not complete upon our arrival.Disappointed with that aspect

Hello Linda, We appreciate receiving this review, and as the booking agent, we were in immediate contact with the guests upon the first report of the wifi. We would like to share the owner's feedback below, to help shed accuracy on several points. We sincerely regret that their stay was anything less than 5 stars, and assure you that all points have been addressed. The WiFi issues were at the Strata level and were fixed in a very timely manner. Simultaneously, we gave them access to the wifi from next door. The WiFi was fixed by Logic the next morning as it was on the service side. ALL TV's were checked by Logic before they left. The TV sets are working just fine. The guests never mentioned anything to us about them having issues with any TV. A hanging apparatus was installed the following day after check in outside on the patio area for them so they could hang the suits and clothes . The guests were there inside watching TV during the installation. The bathroom upstairs had a small leak and there wasn’t anything we could do about that other than prevent further damage. When the stain was discovered in the bathroom, Cherene offered to move them and UPGRADE to the 3 bedroom unit 122 however they refused. It was only a water stain on the ceiling and nothing more. In reference of Cherene telling them to NOT to email to management, she was simply offering personal assistance if any further issues came up, as she explained to them that she lives five minutes away and gave them her number incase of anything. She heard nothing more from them during their stay. We also provided them with complimentary early check in and late checkout without any concern or restrictions. Lastly, they told Cherene how nice the condo was and that it was the nicest they had seen in Coconut Bay. All the best!
