Quiet Home in Dripping Springs

Had a great time here with family and friends for a birthday/tubing trip. Traveled with a large group, but the home was still able to accommodate all comfortably. Loved how private and quiet the property was. If traveling here, would recommend to not drive any low ground clearance cars due to the rocks/gravel as advertised. Prepare to lose cellphone service (I have Tmobile) in this area. However, the wifi at the home works great if needed.

Awesome private house

We had a great wedding weekend in this fun house. Loved how private it was nestled in hill country. The house was very close to our wedding venue so it made it so easy getting to and back easy. The house looked as advertised in the photos. The driveway was advertised as dirt/gravel and it was that. Low centered cars beware, just go slow and be smart. 12 guys and 2 bathrooms was short sided on my part when booking for a wedding weekend, but we made it work. Everyine had a great time and LOVED the house and that was all that mattered to us. I would stay here again for sure. The hosts was also very good at communicating with me when I had questions.

Things Did NOT Go As Planned!

1. The address is not on the fence and is impossible to identify at night. We were not given any "helpful hints" to locate. 2. Long dirt road. You will feel lost and possibly convinced your family might be the subject of the next Dateline episode. 3. Given incorrect code. No response from host (called and sent numerous text messages) 4. Forced to go to a family friends for the night. Thank goodness we have friends willing to take in a family of four and 2 dogs late at night. 5. Finally got a response at 1am 6. The outside of the property is overgrown, full of trash, overturned dog kennel, and unusable outdoor chairs. 7. Inside is decent (as pictured) 8. The toilet in the bathroom would not flush 9. The firepit outside is full of weeds, and the chairs are rotten 10. This could be a great place if maintained.
