We are within 2 minutes on foot from the Georgia Ave-Petworth Metro Station (which follows the green and yellow lines). 
You can be at the Judiciary Square Metro Station  (under 30 minutes total transit time), which is nestled among the major sights, including the U.S. Capitol Building, the Smithsonian Museums, and the National Mall.
