Double glazed windows and doors ensure maximum temperature control in both winter and summer!*romantic loft bedroom with ensuite including separate shower and 2 person bath (please note there are approximately ten easy steps up to the loft bedroom) this too overlooks the treetops and creek* iKou products, bubble bath and essential oil reeds. IKou is a local brand using essential oils & products. Our family enjoyed the cute cottage with beautiful decor. Kim and Ian were attentive hosts. The Easter eggs and chocolate treats were a personal and kind touch from the hosts. Sunny Corner is close to all the good hikes in Leura and Katoomba. Highly recommend.

Sunny Corner was a beautiful spot to spend a couple of days. The photos don’t do it justice - it’s actually bigger than it looks. The decor was very tasteful and the place was scrupulously clean. Kim and Ian were great hosts and the house was stocked with extra treats - muffins, bread, fruit, even some Easter eggs. Lovely location with the deck backing onto a peaceful garden and gurgling creek, just adding to the relaxing atmosphere of the property. Thanks for a great stay!

What an amazing place! From the moment we arrived we were greated by a warm well decorated and appointed oasis. The small detail is what really sets this place apart from the rest.Plenty of parking and close to town. A nice tranquil creek or natural spring runs directly next to property creating a sense of calm and relaxation.

Had a wonderful stay in the romatic cottage. The cottage itself was even more beautiful than the pictures show and was extremely comfortable, clean and accomadating. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for high quality accomadation in Leura.

Beautifully decorated cottage, and very clean. A nice location - quite private. There are two bedrooms and bathrooms, but we were only allowed to use one, else incur an extra cost (100 per night and an extra 50 cleaning fee). There is air-conditioning only in the downstairs bedroom, so we chose to use that one. The ensuite is small with limited bench space and no towel rail / hooks. The extra touches provided by the owner such as some basic groceries and the offer of a complimentary cheese board were lovely and much appreciated.

Hello Megan Thank you for your very honest review. With regard to one couple using 2 beds and 2 baths comes about because we get charged $50 per hour for extra cleaning. We find that most couples only need one of each? There are hooks for towels and bathrobes on the adjoining bathroom wall & (only 4 steps away). The Loft bedroom has a ceiling fan and ventilation through the windows with screens overlooking the creek. We are a predominantly cool climate and our main focus is keeping our guests warm and cosy in our mountain climate. We provided eggs along with crusty bread, fresh fruit, muesli, muffins, specialty teas, coffee pods for machine, hand made chocolates on your bed along with a pair of new sox each. In addition we provided a complimentary grazing board for you both (we charge $75) for that size board but thought we would surprise you with some yummy food to save you going out to buy! So you see we provide a lot of extras with the hope that our guests relax and enjoy the cottage and appreciate our kindness. Thanks again Kim & Ian Your hosts 🌸🌸🌸🌸

We were welcomed into a cosy and beautifully appointed cottage that had the most comfortable beds and most welcoming and cosy couches. Everything was available, including a delicious breakfast at the beginning we felt very welcome and enjoy meeting the hosts. The water pressure was very good, which is important when you have long hair. The area is so beautiful and with so many flowers and a creek nearby. It felt so peaceful when you opened the balcony you just hear nature and the creek. I would recommend this to anybody that wants to get away from it all and yet be close to everything.

Amazing place to get away! My partner and I found it in a perfect location, we would get up and explore the blue mountains then retreat back to the cottage! The cottage had everything you needed and more! The host were friendly and helpful. My partner and I agree the perfect place to spend our anniversary!

A wonderful comfortable cottage

We had a lovely relaxing stay and enjoyed the beautiful cottage and all it had to offer. It was clean and comfortable and had a lot of little extras that made our stay extra special. It was close to Leura village and all of the sightseeing adventure in the area.

Winter Getaway

Loved our stay at Sunny Corner! House was amazing! Extremely clean, comfortable and well equipped. Lovely, quiet location with a great outlook off the private back deck. Booking and check-in process was seamless as was communication with the owners. We will definitely be back!
