Beautiful charismatic retreat

We loved this little hide away. It had so much character and was a lovely place to retreat to at the end ofa hike. Great location. Has everything you need, responsive and friendly host. Great memories made.

It was a warm stay.

We really enjoyed our time in Blue mountain. The place is close to the market. The place is warm especially during night time as there was no fly screen window we can open. Otherwise it was a lovely stay.

Fantastic Mountain Stay

Wayne’s place is well appointed, clean and in a great location. Check in was super easy and we enjoyed the local guides to help find some walking tracks. Thanks for a great stay!

Amazing & quiet getway

The cabin was nestled next to a very peaceful valley with plenty of bird song. We enjoyed our getway away from the sound of traffic. Nice and close to the shops as well. Very well stocked with plenty of kitchen utensils and firewood.

Cosy Cabin close to everything

Loved the Cabin..Plenty of space & everything you need. The fireplace was very good, kept us nice and warm. Lovely little sitting place out on the Verandah to watch the sun go down with a drink.. Comfortable beds.. Would stay again for sure.

Charming family accommodation

The property was walking distance to town and a short drive to Echo Point and other bush walking trails. The cabin had plenty of room for my 8 and 11 yr old. They loved the loft bedroom! It was also nice and warm,which is needed after being out in the cold all day. We only set the fire twice.

Cute and cosy!

Great location, quiet and it had everything we needed. The kids loved the fireplace which kept us warm on the chilly winter nights. It was also just a short walk to the town centre. Loved the bakeries (Hominy and Black Cockatoo) for special breakfast treats. We also bush walked every day and it was a short drive to wonderful walks with the kids. Thank you for a wonderful stay, highly recommended!

Cute cosy little cabin

A very cute and cosy little cabin with big windows to let in the light and had a very nice outlook of the bush. Check in was very easy. Our young boys loved the loft bedroom. The kitchen had everything we needed and was in great working order. Loved the rain style shower head, especially after a day of hiking. The cabin is in a fantastic location. Had a great stay.

Gray’s mountain escape

Perfect cottage for family of four and base to see the beautiful Blue Mountains. Weather was kind and cottage was toasty warm with combo of fire place and oil heaters for heating. The cottage felt a little looked over with properties in front. A short power walk up the hill to shops and town centre made for easy options on food and provisions. Thanks Wayne!

Lovely location; great stay.

Cozy eclectic cabin, spacious and comfortable. Had everything we needed. There was only one (very large) kitchen knife --almost cut myself trying to pare a mango. The host did respond and deliver a smaller knife the next day--which was much appreciated. Host could redo the welcome booklet--had a large laminated card with WIFI user/password on the bar (that was incorrect), and a handful of items (like the location of a torch--there was no torch). Overall we enjoyed our time very much, just needs a deep cleaning in the lounge and booklet redo.

Cozy warm cabin

I can’t give more than 5 starts but if I could I would. My partner and a girlfriend stayed for two nights for winter magic and the location was perfect, the cabin was beautiful. Lovely decor, great amenities, face wipes and razors provided were an outstanding touch. The fire place was a beautiful, and highly functioning antique. This cabin was delightful, for 3 of us the bathroom and shower was just what the doctor ordered, what a shower! Again, we had everything we needed and passed out so early because this cabin seduced us to an early bed time. Fantastic touches. Can’t rave anymore about this place. Thank you 5 out of 5

Home away from home

We visited Riley’s hideaway as a family of 4, my children aged 8 and 10. We loved how cosy it felt and the style was so cute. The accommodation was private and had beautiful views of Bushland out the lounge window. Our favourite spots were the loft and the lounge with the sun pouring in on us. We enjoyed walking to the shops, restaurants and even to Scenic world; everything is so close! After doing a 4 hour hike one day, we enjoyed watching a movie with the fire warming our sore tired muscles. This is going to be one of our most memorable holidays. My kids are going to be asking to return as soon as we get into the car. Kerrie (the host) was very good at communicating and answering any questions I had. After our time here, we feel closer together as a family, rested and rejuvenated. Thank you for having us Kerrie!
