Great property, had everything we needed and great location, tucked away in a quiet street but only a short drive to the 3 sisters and town. Our 4 kids from 18 down to 10 years old loved it!
We loved our stay here and can't wait to return. The area is a short walk to the 3 sisters, but very quiet, even on weekends. The house is very spacious and comfortable. The beds are really comfortable! We loved the open fire. We didn't use the heating, so I can not comment on that. We closed the curtains in the afternoon and found the house stayed warm overnight in April. Joss was very responsive to any questions we had. Such a perfect home with perfect hosts. Thank you!
Everything about our stay was excellent. The house is really, really lovely and generously appointed. We had more than enough cookware and cutlery and thoroughly enjoyed both hot and cold central heating in the week we stayed! Our little cavoodle had a ball too. Hoping to be back soon!
The property is pretty, clean and in a very accessible spot for the blue mountains hiking trails which was the reason for our visit.Down side - I booked this place specifically as a hot tub was listed as an amenity for the property on the website. As we would be spending long hours walking we were looking forward to the relaxation after a long day. Unfortunately there was no hot tub. Property manager Joss stated that it was not listed on the website and when I sent a screen shot of the listing with hot tub, there were crickets in response .We enjoyed the stay regardless but will have to drill deeper in future to ensure advertised amenities are actually available
Cute cottage within a very close proximity to echo point and access to many walks . House was very accommodating with cosy bedding , very warm heating and a fully stocked kitchen .
We're a Sydney based family with 3 kids and 2 dogs who enjoy the outdoors and exploring new places. We've stayed at about 50 holiday homes ourselves over the years and have tried to add everything we could think of (as well as the suggestions from past guests) to make your stay the best possible. We are delighted to share a quality pet friendly mountain home with you. We have a delightful property manager, Joss, who lives just around the corner on hand to help you out with any issues or questions you may have during your stay.
We adore the blue mountains and all it has to offer. We love hiking from right out the front door into the national park to the three sisters, the numerous birds that make their home here and the peace and quiet of the house. Once the batteries are restored, we love to venture out to the many galleries and second hand shops in Katoomba and surrounds and finish the day with dinner at one of the many great eateries or bars and come home to a cosy fire with marshmellows.
It's a combination of the quiet location next to the National Park and then cosy feel of the cottage itself - we've added some of our favourite art and some quality furniture and fittings to make your stay as comfortable as possible (and a tv bigger than the one we have at home!).
