Spacious one bedroom basement suite , have the entire space to yourself . Suitable for uptown 3 guests with lots of room for fun! 5-10mins walk away from gas station, pharmacy, gym , restaurants and grocery stores.
First of all the rooms were clean and same as described. Washroom is super clean and smells nice. Bedsheets/pillow/Metress doesnt smells bad. Sarah, home owener was quick to respond. Clean information has been provided during chek in and check out. All the required things are in place wroking as expected. Overall, i will recommand this to small family of 3-4 people.
Itâs a decent little suite for one night, especially for only two people. But it was frigid cold. We were both shivering. The host turned off the AC and we used a space heater. We showered to warm up, but the towel rack was broken and patched with masking tape. There was a single towel hanging on the remaining piece and it was unclear if it had been used by a previous guest or not. There was only one bath and one face towel folded under the sink so we shared. It would be nice to have a set of towels for each guest. The place needed a really good dusting, dirty baseboards and switch plates. The bedsheets were really thin and tattered. The place isnât terrible, it does have room for improvement.
Very clean and perfect for what we wanted. Suggest having a lock going down into the apartment since itâs attached to a home thatâs occupied. Will stay again
It was nice property. There was only one towel for two people, so it was pretty inconvenient for the shower next day. I used one hand towel. The bedroom was big and only a queen bed, a king would be a better option for the room and comfort.
Place smelled amazing. Looks like itâs very well kept place, professional level. Even the paper towels had a nice fold and was tucked which shows they definitely go above and beyond. Get this place before they get too many good reviews and increase prices Ahahhaha
I liked the cleanliness and how the property was decorated. On the other hand it was advertised the property had WiFi. I did have it available for 2 hours of the 2 days I stayed. I got no satisfaction from my "host" who I believe lived in the suite above but could not find the time to come and talk to me If you like strange people charging into your suite, loud house noises, no WiFi have at it . Not my cup of tea
The room was nice but there were issues. First, I booked on Expedia but it was on VRBO and I couldn't get it to connect. If I hadn't gotten the host's phone number I'd have been in trouble.
1. I got the door code before arriving and got in fine. But there were no instructions how to lock the door and it was not working. I had to call the host and get a code for the lock box and a key. The electronic lock pad was also giving error messages of low battery. So without the key I could have been locked out later.
2. House rules - the email said to park on the street and follow the house rules. But I was never given the house rules nor are the printed and inside the room. They may have been on VRBO but again I couldn't access the booking there. The rules should be in the room. It said to park on the street but there is VERY little street parking in that area.
3. There was water in the fridge but it was not clear whether or not there was a fee to take any. I asked and was told it was complimentary, but a little sign would be nice. I shouldn't have to ask.
4. There were several amenities in the room for guests: slippers, toothpaste, and milk in the fridge. But none were individually packaged and all are against health code regulations. You must provide new, in the package items for each guest.
5. The BIGGEST issue was the toilet seat which was not attached properly to the toilet. Me and my elderly mom almost fell when it became disconnected. This is a HUGE safety issue.
