This beautiful old home that was loved by legendary local Nancy, for almost 50 years, has been fully renovated just this year. With lots of thought put in to ensuring guests can truly relax and unwind in comfort and style. Combining the best features of the original home such as polished floorboards and timber window frames, with the mod-cons and creature comforts we have come to expect in more modern homes. It's like a warm hug - Nancy's of Trentham brings happiness, warmth and comfort.

The location is outstanding, only 200 metres walk to some of the best eateries and coffee in the region, including Du Fermier, Trentham General, The Cosmopolitan Hotel, The Plough, Trentham Bakery, and Red Beard Bakery (the best sourdough on earth!). Directly across the road is the Trentham Pool, Tennis courts, and Recreation Reserve with playground. Stroll to the Trentham Farmers Market just down at the Town Square.

Sleeping up to 6 guests, the home has 3 queen bedrooms, all beautifully styled so that each room is as impressive as the next, with bright artwork, comfy cushions and throw blankets to go with hotel quality linen.

The large designer kitchen with modern appliances is perfect for preparing all the delicious local produce you have picked up at the surrounding farm-gates, food-stores, and markets. The green cabinetry and timber features are perfectly suited in this country hamlet with tree lined streets. The open plan layout lends itself to dining and entertaining, so make sure you pick up a couple of bottles of wine at one of the nearby wineries to enjoy over dinner or by the fireplace.

The two stunning bathrooms are a feature, with luxuries such as large rain shower heads and heated towel rails, but the hero is that bathtub – you will feel like royalty soaking in the bath with a glass of bubbles! The classic wallpapered feature-wall is a stylish tribute to the era of the home.

It wouldn’t be a trip to the country without a cosy wood fire, perfect for those crisp Trentham nights. Plus, a Daikin ducted system for both heating and cooling throughout the house, and ceiling fans in bedrooms.

Other mod-cons include Wi-Fi, Smart TV with Netflix, Bluetooth speaker, and a Coffee machine. With laundry facilities, it is ideal for longer stays too – your home away from home!

Enjoy the sunshine and fresh country air at the front deck and sitting area. Surrounded by recently planted Silver Birches and Magnolias, amongst some older developed trees that have called this place home for decades. The large backyard is great for the dog or kids to play.

Only a short drive to Trentham Falls, Lake Daylesford, Hanging Rock, Memorial Cross, Jubilee Lake, or the townships of Daylesford, Kyneton, Woodend, and Mount Macedon. Enjoy wineries, gin distilleries, breweries, restaurants and cafés.

This region is renowned for its hiking trails, with stunning leisurely walks in the countryside, or more challenging hikes for the adventurous (such as Domino Trail).

For cyclists, this is the ideal spot to launch from, for road, gravel, or mountain biking. Quiet country roads, gorgeous landscapes, cooler climate, and good coffee en-route, it’s perfect for bike riding.

Other attractions or activities include Trentham Golf Club, Old Railway Station, day-spas, yoga, art galleries, renowned gardens, historic buildings, mineral springs, lakes, rivers, fishing, horse trail rides, and so much more.

Pet friendly so you can bring your fur baby! Small house-trained dogs only, pets by prior arrangement ($25 per pet, max 2 pets). No heavy shedding breeds. The property is not fully fenced and will not suit all dogs. Owners responsible for any damage or clean-up etc. The Mud-room / laundry is a perfect place for your pet to sleep, and is complete with dog bowls, plus a deep sink if your dog needs a bath!

Nature is at your doorstep, with beautiful trees, shrubs and flowers, plus birdlife, and wildlife in the bush surrounding Trentham. Just over one hour drive from Melbourne’s CBD, Nancy’s of Trentham is a place to relax, eat, drink, laugh, love, play, create and explore.

Minimum 2-nights. Long weekends, public holidays, and peak periods minimum 3-nights. Christmas and Easter minimum 4-nights.

Check-in from 3pm, check-out by 10am.

Rate is for 6 guests, no additional couch-surfers (6 guests maximum).

No parties, schoolies groups, 18th, 21st, hens, bucks, or other all-male groups.

Leave the property clean on departure, close to the way you found it as is standard with most holiday rentals (dishes, benches, rubbish, etc).
Please respect neighbours - no parties, no music outside, no additional sound equipment (DJ, PA etc), no noise after 10pm.
Complaint calls from neighbours incurs fees and may result in eviction. After hours call outs due to avoidable incidents caused by guests incur fees.
