Good location making it easy to make day trips to Petosky and Traverse Bay area and of course Torch Lake. House was comfortable for our 9 plus doggo for a few days. All of the issues prior renters mentioned have been taken care of. We would certainly consider staying here again.

Great Family Get Away!

We had a wedding to attend up North and this was a great place to stay! Private and clean. We had fun around the area and enjoyed some family time together. We would definitely stay here again!

Great stay.

The house was big enough for family to come from multiple locations and share some quality time between softball tournament games. The washer and dryer really came in handy for the dirty ball uniforms. There were also some unexpected and very convenient amenities The fire pit was an added bonus. The nerarby Seven Bridges trails, Rugg Pond Dam and Torch Lake access at the ball park location were picturesque and enjoyable sites to experience. The house is in a quiet rural setting with only 2 other nearby units.

My overall impression was the house smelled of cat urine and the air conditioning did not work even though it sounded like a freight train and ran non-stop. Also we booked this because we needed 3 bedrooms and were notified in rout the third bedroom was unavailable. So the overall experience was not good to say the least.

Family Vacay

The house is just right for a family of 8. It has all the comforts of home. A very clean property. The only thing we missed is WiFi. Well if you are on a vacay then go out to the water and enjoy the beautiful lakes nearby.

When we arrived, the residence had a terrible odor through out the entire home. It smelled like a very bad, dorm room party. And stayed that way for our entire stay. While trying to watch TV, the internet was so slow and shut off so many times it was useless to use. As noted in previous reviews, the AC unit was so loud that it made it difficult to do anything until it was off. Plenty of potential, however our experience was not a pleasant one. I reached out to property manager after our stay, bit received no acknowledgement or response.

This was the worst place I have ever been to. As soon as we opened the door the cat urine was so unbearable we had to leave and buy air freshener supplies. Once my husband sat on the bed the one side went straight to the floor. Come to find out their management knew about this prior to our arrival. We we're going to have a fire going but the lights that they have outside did not work since it was missing two bulbs. Whoever put this place together clearly didn't actually clean it before our arrival also. Then as I go to open the silverware drawer to start breakfast for my children a cockroach is running around the silverware. At that point we packed up and left the premise. I most definitely do not recommend this place to anyone.

Although this house is in a good location (close to Torch Lake and Traverse area) our overall experience was not a positive one. When we arrived the tv, WiFi, and air conditioning were not working (in 90 degree muggy Michigan July heat). After some back and forth with the property manager we we able to get them working in the next 24 hours. The air conditioner, however, is SO loud you cannot have a conversation between the living room and kitchen 5 feet away. The advertised 3rd bedroom was locked and not available. We were also informed during our stay that there would be a carpet measurement the following day. I expressed my concern that I didn’t feel it was appropriate while we were guests in the house and asked them to reschedule but they showed up anyway.

Needs some attention.

The house is okay, it does need to been cleaned. The windows were filthy gross, it exists in a weed/sand field where there is no yard and you cannot enjoy the “fire pit” bc it’s just charred wood piled up in the weeds and sand. Nowhere to sit outside, the air conditioning unit is so loud it sounds like a jet taking off when it cycles. It has potential to be a great place after some work is done.

Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this cute little cabin. We were up north for a wedding and had another couple stay in the cabin across the driveway so it turned out to be an awesome weekend! Would highly recommend!

Wonderful!

My family and I (5 adults) had a wonderful time in this home! We will definitely rent again with the rest of our family!! It’s located in a nice quiet area, with 1 home adjacent from it. Walking into the home we instantly felt like we were home, from the decor to the furniture and appliances everything was perfect! This home is very comfortable and spacious. You will not be disappointed on this rental!!
