We’re glad you found the home to have the potential for an excellent stay, and we appreciate the opportunity our team had to assist when the Wi-Fi did not initially connect. Once the issue was identified, the correct information was provided and connectivity was restored. We’re sorry the lawn and recycling conditions did not meet expectations, and those concerns have been shared with our property team for follow-up. Regarding household supplies, vacation rentals are stocked with designated starter essentials; items such as aluminum foil, plastic wrap, and storage bags are not guaranteed amenities. We also appreciate your comments regarding beach access. Access varies throughout the South Haven area, including public and private portions of shoreline, and guests are expected to observe posted property boundaries. We will continue reviewing our listing information to ensure the access associated with this home is communicated as clearly as possible. We appreciate the detailed feedback. While we recognize that not every aspect of the stay matched your expectations, our team remains committed to accurately representing our homes, responding when concerns arise, and providing a quality experience for our guests.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay, Lauren! We appreciate your comments on the home, and it's size and location. We do share our Good Neighbor Guide with all of our Guests, which is actually required by our local rental ordinance, which includes being cautious of outdoor volumes after 10pm. In regards to someone stopping by on the day of your arrival, we do have a staff member who takes trash/recycle bins to the curb on the evening prior to pickup, and then retrieves them the evening after pickup. I can assure you this individual was not "checking" on you, as we did not receive a complaint from a neighboring home until later that evening. We are sorry to hear that neighbors were staring at you, or yelled at your children if they entered the neighbors lawn. This was not reported to us until this review was published. The day of your departure was a turnover day, and our cleaning teams do arrive promptly at 10am as they have a limited amount of time to ensure the home is ready for the next Guest. Again, this is something that was not reported until this review. However, we will speak with the cleaning team to ensure they were not "rude" to any Guests. While we are sorry to hear of your experience, perhaps a home in a more "remote" location and with a larger lawn for your next stay would be better suited.
