Welcome to The Haven Haus! Enjoy a dream vacation in this beautifully appointed home that was built in 2021 and custom-designed to host vacation travelers.

You'll love the premier location that allows you to park the car during your stay and walk to all of the nearby amenities:
- South Beach / Lighthouse: 3 blocks
- Kids’ Corner Park: 4 blocks
- Kal-Haven Downtown Trailhead: 4 blocks
- Splash Pad: 5 blocks
- Downtown: 6 blocks

Inside the house, groups will enjoy the open floor plan, basement bar, bunk room, kids’ playhouse, double porch in front, and private patio in back. Spacious 2,600 sqft of space with 10 ft ceilings on the main floor and 9 ft ceilings on the second floor. Second master suite on main level for convenience to guests of all ages / abilities.

Outside the home is an outdoor shower, gas firepit, and a hot tub that is open and professionally maintained year-round.

We’d love for you to be our guests in this 2021 custom built home! Additionally, The Haven Haus is managed by the homeowners, so you won't have to pay an additional management fee.

Weekly rentals are required during the peak summer weeks.

Home is professionally cleaned and sanitized by the expert staff at Clean Slate Housekeeping, using all natural green cleaning products and following strict CDC guidelines.

Note: Ring Doorbell security cameras are installed at the front and rear entry doors

Summer Getaway

This was a family summer vacation. This house is fantastic. Relatively new construction and close to all the areas to visit in South Haven. It is big enough to comfortably host more than one family. The owners were very helpful in making sure we had everything we needed for the stay

Good - not great

Nice place with plenty of space, nice location, helpful and kind owners that were very responsive. It was clean with some ‘extras’ for the beach in the garage. A few details were lacking - pot holders for the kitchen, beds and pillows were ok at best, comfort of the deck furniture were not not the best.

Great Spot in South Haven

The location of this vacation home can't be beat. Everything's within walking distance yet the neighborhood is very quiet. The home is designed with multiple comfortable gathering spaces and the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with many thoughtful touches. Strong WIFI signal. Communication with the host was great, and there was a detailed guidebook available in the home and online.

Amazing!

Such a beautiful house, and well designed. We loved all the storage, especially the back entry way and the big pantry. When you have a group of 12 women, all the bathrooms are a huge plus! The owners were fantastic to work with, and we love the quiet neighborhood. Easy walk to the beach and downtown.

Wonderful friends getaway!

What a beautiful house! This new home was even more beautiful in person and perfect for our 4-day stay in South Haven with friends. Cooler fall temps encouraged us to use the fire pit and hot tub, as well as the gas fireplace while we watched college football games. The house is situated just a few blocks to the beach and restaurants.

Everything you need for a great vacation!

The Haven Haus has everything you need and more! Jessica paid attention to every detail with the toys/playroom/bunk beds for the kids and the extra toiletries in case you forget something. The communication was great and our check in request was accommodated. The house was very clean and we felt right at home with the welcome note and present. The location was perfect with just a quick walk to the beach, park and downtown South Haven. We’ll definitely be looking to come back next year!

Incredible!!

This house is perfection!! We stayed with some extended family (8 adults + 3 kids) and had more than enough room. Everything was so clean, modern, and comfortable. The location is walking distance to the beach and downtown- which made it really easy with kids. The hosts were easy to communicate with and friendly. They didn't miss any details building this gorgeous home; we loved it!

Amazing Little Vacation

Communication with them was wonderful! Pictures are accurate, clean, plenty of towels and even a goodie bag! House was able to fit 12 adult women with no problem. Short walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. If you’re looking for a place to stay, I highly recommend the Haven Haus!

A luxurious & easy getaway from Chicago

We really enjoyed our stay at Haven Haus this January! The house is gorgeous, well stocked, and in a lovely location. The kiddos in our group adored the bunk beds, the play space under the stairs, and the toys provided at the house. The owners were great to communicate with and check in was super easy. They even left us a lovely bag with snacks and a local card to welcome us to the home. We'll certainly be back!

Family Reunion

Our large extended family gathered in South Haven this summer for a family reunion. Part of the group stayed at another house, but our group, which included my 96 year old mother stayed in this home. This home is ideal in so many ways, but particularly for any group traveling with someone who has mobility issues. The first floor bedroom along with an attached bathroom, were perfect to accommodate my mom, who can’t walk a flight of stairs. The rest of the bedrooms were also a perfect layout for us. The home is new, clean, well stocked, and well furnished (note there is now even an additional couch in the main floor living room, which wasn’t originally shown in the photos). The driveway is more than ample to fit up to 3 cars. Additionally, we particularly appreciated having use of the garage to store our bikes and beach gear. Matt and Jessica were reachable and responsive, and even provided us with a number of suggestions of activities to do in South Haven. We have already booked this house for next year!!

Pristine property!

Everything in the house was new and immaculate!! Love how well they take care of the home to maintain its cleanliness! Bunk room was perfect for kids and teens in the group… short walk to town and beach:) Only thing I’d add and it’s simply due to preference of our group… and that’s bikes and beach chairs to borrow for week… pain to travel with and expensive to rent with a large group;) Loved our stay!

Absolutely perfect everything

We traveled with 6 for a mom's getaway for 2 nights. Right when we walked in and toured, we all said this house was nicer than our own and we continued to make comments on how we never wanted to leave. Little details like actual name brand Rubbermaid containers, cute decor, "poo-pouri" on every toilet, thick towels that felt like a luxury hotel, to USB outlets - this house has it all. The only thing we couldn't find that we should have packed was a shot glass to measure - but the downstairs bar otherwise had EVERYTHING you'd need, including a blender to make margaritas. It was a little rainy and chilly when we were there, but we were still able to enjoy the hot tub and fire pit. I can see the hosts have all things covered when the weather is good - from sand toys, wagon, and the perfect porches to enjoy a coffee. If you look directly down the street, you can see the water and getting to town to shop/eat/beach is as close and easy as it gets. The town itself wasn't entirely open, but we knew to expect that prior to Memorial Day. Just something to keep in mind! We will definitely be returning - likely with kids as the bunk room would be perfect for families!

Great weekend getaway!

House is exactly like pictured. Super clean with lots of bedroom options. Kids loved the bunks and the toy area in the basement. Hot tub is easy in easy out. Very close to town and beach. The perfect walkable location. Check in/out & communication was great.

Great location and house

We had a mom getaway and stayed at the house over the weekend and the location was great! The owners were wonderful to work with especially when we had questions. The house was amazing! and as moms we loved the items that were available for young children - you don't see that every time you stay at houses on vacation and we appreciated that. There was only one thing we would've loved was a bigger couch upstairs since all of us wanted to sit around and talk upstairs. We will definitely be staying again if it is available next year.

Beautiful home for a large family

5 star all the way! Beautiful home not far from Lake Michigan. Very clean and well kept you have all you need right there. Stayed with family for daughters wedding. Would stay there again.

back at least once every following year, and were determined to
someday have a place of our own. Then in the summer of 2019, we
found this great piece of land that would eventually become the

We've made so many wonderful memories in this beautiful town,
and enjoy sharing it with others.
