C'est l'endroit idéal si vous souhaitez vous rendre à pied à la plage (Powell Beach sur le lac Okanagan), qui se trouve au bout de la rue, nager, faire du vélo, faire de la randonnée, du jogging, jouer au tennis sur les courts voisins ... Nous sommes idéalement situés dans souhaitable Trout Creek, Summerland qui est au milieu de Penticton et le centre-ville de Summerland. Très bien situé si vous avez un enfant dans l'Okanagan Hockey Academy que nous sommes de moins de 10 minutes à l'Event Center South Okanagan à Penticton.
Notre maison d'été rénovée est idéale pour les familles et les couples avec 4 chambres à coucher et 2 salles de bain. 6 couchages confortablement (plus 3 enfants en couchette simple / double). Salon ouvert au plan d'étage Cuisine avec spacieux ouvert poutres. La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec de nouveaux appareils de qualité et inclut tous les besoins. Cour clôturée avec patio. Nous pouvons fournir une chaise haute, un stylo, etc. sur demande.

We loved staying at Powell house, it was clean, had all the amenities we needed (and more!) and so comfortable. The location was great, we could spend a lot of time at the beach or just have a quick drive into town.

The house was perfect for our family. It had everything we needed, was very clean and well kept. We made use of the bikes in the garage and the barbecue on the back deck. We’d stay there again for sure. Great location as well.

Absolutely wonderful stay! We stayed as two families with small children and the house was perfect! The yard was great and the proximity to the beach can not be beat!!.

Family Vacation in Paradise
My husband and I and 4 of our grown kids had an amazing time here. The house was set up beautifully and stocked with everything we needed. Trout Creek is a quiet, restful place. We enjoyed the beach, the Crick Coffee House in the morning, lots of area ciders and vineyards. Five stars all around

Powell Beach House - 5 stars
We stayed for just over a week at the Powell Beach House and enjoyed the house immensely. The location of the house it great - one block from the beach, easy 10 min commute to Penticton, and easy access to all the activities we took in. We enjoyed the backyard for visiting when our family came over. This house is beautiful!!

Wonderful weekend
The close proximity to the beach, plus the quiet neighbourhood made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We did a hike in the area, used the bikes to do some exploring, swam and played in the park, enjoyed family BBQ and had wonderful sleeps! Many thanks to our hosts.

Best Ever
Our hiking group of 6-7 gals, ages 48-84, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Powell Beach Summer Home of Angie and Derek. The home was spotless and equipped with absolutely everything ( and more) than we want. We loved the privacy of the back yard. It is a perfect stay for adults and kids. Thanks Angie and Derek. Perfect gathering place
The open floorplan was perfect for our group being together no matter if cooking, eating or visiting. The place was spotless, well lighted and very well stocked, with plenty of storage room left over. The upscale appliances had clear instructions. The owners have taken steps to protect any little people. The nautical décor throughout was charming. The area was very quiet, with a park and school playground close by. We'd like to live there!

Superb!
We had a very pleasant 5-night stay. House has a spacious floorplan with lots of beds. House was very clean and inviting when we arrived, nicely renovated and decorated. Appreciated the welcome card and well-organized information binder with everything you need to know about the property and things to do in the area. Pleasantly surprised there were bikes to use in the garage! Quiet neighborhood with only a short drive to Penticton. Short walk to a nice beach area.

Superb location, one block from a nice, sandy beach and park, but also easy access to Penticton. Flat land, so great for walking or biking if you don't want to exert yourself too much, but tougher rides available. Generally quiet neighborhood.
When I couldn't get the front door code to work, I sent Angie & Deryk a message through VRBO, and they were there within minutes to help me in person.
The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The "top down bottom up" shades in the bedroom and bathroom made it possible to let in the light while maintaining privacy. Most rentals don't include some basic, everyday things that I always have to bring with me, like air freshener and tissues, so it was nice to see these available at the house.
While the house itself is older, the kitchen is very modern (appliances, countertops, undermount sink, soft-close drawers), and it was nice of the owners to include in the "welcome booklet" the instructions for using the cooktop for those of us who have never used an induction cooktop before.
The bicycles were greatly appreciated! It was also nice to have detailed instructions (with pictures) for how to get to various points of interest in the neighborhood, including at least one beach that you would never find without those explicit instructions.
Only two concerns:
I was woken up by the neighbor's barking dogs a few mornings.
The toilet in the ensuite is less than 4 inches from the wall, making it somewhat awkward to use.

Great stay!
Angie and Deryk had made our stay so wonderful. They were great communicators from the beginning and it was really easy to get a hold of them with any questions we had. They welcomed us with a lot of very thoughtful little details (e.g. very nice touches with the fresh flowers, fruits, coffee, etc.!), for the adults and the children. Countless amenities were available, making our stay very comfortable. The layout of the house was nice and very clean in general. The backyard space was beautiful as well. Super convenient, located just a quick 2min walk from the beach and park and right off of highway 97. Nothing was lacking in terms of comfort and convenience. I have to say, this was the best vacation house we've ever stayed in! thank you Angie and Deryk!

Beautiful Beach House
Wow!
Everything about this beach house was perfect for our getaway. The open floor plan makes it easy to visit while enjoying a meal or spending time with friends and family. The hosts were very attentive to every detail and left us a special gift of local wine and coffee. The kitchen has everything you need and more. And the Koala’s made our day.
Perfect location, only steps to the beach, would highly recommend staying here, we will be back again for sure.

Easy access to sandy beach
We loved walking out the door and accessing the beach in just a short walk - about 3 minutes. The beach was perfect for the little kids with sand and shallow water. We also loved visiting the vineyards, and doing a lazy tubing down the channel from Penticton. Angie was prompt with communication and the house had everything we needed. We were 6 adults, a 4 yr old and a 1 yr old. There was a fenced in grassy backyard with a grill and outdoor seating as well as ample seating in the house. Thanks for a great stay.

The Best Experience
We rented this spot for our yearly family gathering which also included a wedding this year. The closeness to the beach is what drew our attention. The House was spotless, gorgeously decorated, modern and had everything you could ever want. Angie was an amazing host and answered all our questions immediately. We wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Great location and great house
We had an excellent time here! The house had everything we needed and so many extras like games, beach toys, loaner bikes etc. The house was beautiful, the beds and chairs so comfortable and the location can't be beat (if you like a quiet neighborhood a couple of minutes walk to the beach and playground). We felt at home here, and the hosts were very flexible and communicative. We had two couples and our babies here and it was just an amazing vacation. Thank you!

We had a girl's trip here and all 10 of us fit comfortably in Deryk and Angie's place! The house is a 2-minute walk down to the lake, which is a huge asset. Everything you need and more is in the house, which made our stay that much more relaxing. 10/10 recommend!

Perfect first family vacation!
This was our first family vacation with our 10 month old twins. We needed something relative close to home, which also held all the amenities we would need for twin life. This was the perfect rental for us. It has a large living space, multiple bedrooms with comfortable beds (can easily accommodate 6), and includes many extras that helped our stay be even better! (high chair, pack n' play, coffee, towels for the beach, and a garage full of bikes, a wagon and many toys that older children would really enjoy playing with in the decent backyard. It was very clean when we arrived. We put the BBQ to use multiple times, and the backyard cover provided a lot of shade for the kids to play in. We are looking forward to returning again on day. Thank you Angie for making our stay so easy and relaxing!

Delightful and bright with every details attended to!
My partner and I enjoyed one week Sept 2021 in this lovely bungalow home. Angie has thought of everything! - from a sewing kit, a bottle of vino, to bumper pads for the granite counter to protect the heads of little ones. The home is spacious and bright, immaculately clean, very comfortable and a kitchen that is completely kitted up. Having the use of the double garage was great to store our bikes and golf clubs. Great walking and biking area just a block from a lovely park and the beach. Being just the two of us, we didn't need to use all the space (4 bedrooms and two full baths with lovely heated floors). A good jumping off point to get to the Kettle Valley trail system, Naramata, Penticton and Summerland as well. The home is perfect for couples or a family. Angie is extremely responsive and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing stay in beautiful Trout Creek!

This is a beautiful property within walking distance to the beach.
Angie was really friendly and easy to deal with.
Many thoughtful extras included in the home.
Large bedrooms with great beds.
We had our boat which fit in the driveway or out in front of the property.
It was great to have access to the garage for our bikes, kayak and paddle board for storage when not in use.
There is an extra fridge in the garage for extra food or beverages.
Great appliances for cooking including a outdoor BBQ.
The sitting area outside is covered and can easily sit over 6 if needed.
