Nice relaxing vacation home

Booked somewhere different for Spring Break this year. Wanted somewhere away from the crowds but close enough to enjoy local activities. This place was great for that. Great location large enough house for 7 people. Fishing was good off the dock and views were terrific. Great stay overall.

Beautiful home for a family gathering

The home is a perfect place for a family gathering, with a large kitchen to prepare meals, large dining table, and good seating for visiting. The outside deck is lovely to watch the sunset, relax in the hammock, fish, or just read and visit.

Charming Home

This home was clean and in the prefect location. It's a great spot for crabbing as well. This place is decorated well and quite roomy. I didn't care for the beds in the loft based on our first list but it's the perfect space for kids.

Beautiful home for a family gathering

The home is nicely designed for a large family gathering. It provides a large kitchen for preparing meals, a large table for dining, and comfortable seating for visiting. It is air conditioned to help with the heat and humidity. The deck is beautiful. You are able to fish off the deck, relax in a hammock, or sit to read or visit. It is a nice place to watch the sunset. You can easily walk to the beach.

Spacious, extraordinary canal view home!

Only complaint was Yard and grounds had a lot of trash and paper plates in between the trees and bushes. Needs some outside trash clean up. Inside home was clean neat and organized. Home has everything you need, plus. Very very nice! So comfy. Lots of space and decorated beautifully!-

This is a perfectly placed home right on the bay - great for watching sunsets, fishing or crabbing right off the dock. You are close enough to Galveston to grab a great dinner but the house is located in a quiet neighborhood. We loved the floor plan - open so everyone could be together even if we weren't all doing the same things. There is a great dining table perfect for puzzles or game night. The issues we had were mainly from the house being fairly old. The upstairs AC went out on us, but they were very quick to come out and fix it. There was also a condensation leak in the powder room over the toilet so you couldn't use that restroom. And if some things were just updated, like guest towels, kitchen utensils, pots and pans, etc. it would make such an improvement. If these small adjustments were made, I think it would definitely be a five star rating! Again, we enjoyed our stay and made great memories, just needs a few improvements!

Large space and Great Time

We had a good time and location was awesome. Very large with plenty of room for the whole family. Great sunset views across the bay. I assumed we would have access to the neighborhood boat ramp but apparently that is not the case. Access to the water was the main reason we chose this house and it was a big let down when we were told the ramp was not for guests. I feel this should be clearly explained in the property description. However the vacation wasn't ruined due to an amazing neighbor who ended up giving us access to the ramp. Point of contact for management company was not very professional and did not get back with us in a timely manner on the issues. I would definitely stay at the property again but would know what to expect when it came to the boat access.

We have mixed reviews of this property. We love Galveston and this general area. It is close to the Marina and Seven Seas grocery and kayaks and golf carts are easy to rent. We had never stayed in Bay Harbor before but this house is in a nice location on the bay with a spectacular view and decorated interior as in the pictures. However, I have to agree with the last 2 reviews - Ann C July 2025 and Penny R’s second review from Nov 2025: all of those items listed in their reviews are still broken. When we arrived the property had not been professionally cleaned. I am not sure anyone had been there since Pennys group stayed 4 months ago. The beds were made but the house was very musty. There were a lot of dead cockroaches (maybe 20) and hair in bathrooms. Dirty dishes were in the kitchen sink. Completely molded coffee maker. There were instructions to not throw out any of the toiletry containers but there were no toiletries (like bar soap) so we used shampoo we brought as body wash. And no towels out but we found a few, so I was glad we brought our own beach towels. Outside we were told that an electrician had repaired the green fishing lights but had not and exposed wires shocked my 14yo son while he was trying to turn them on. Additionally, an installed double jet ski ramp had corroded and during a bad storm, floated inland down the canal at 9pm. Luckily we were able to work with some other renters across the canal to secure it to their boat dock 5 houses down.
