This was our first time to the Canmore and Banff area. Next time I will stay in Banff. This is nice and convenient to the highway. Older building and unit. They need to invest in brighter light bulbs for the bathroom and make sure all light bulbs are working. Manager was very quick to answer my questions. I misunderstood from the picture thinking we had a view. There is no view. Its great they allow dogs. And its nice nice to have to strip the bed and pretty much clean the place before we leave. That is what we pay a cleaning fee for. I heard they are updating the elevator, which is needed. Everything you need is very close and you will do great staying here. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back.
Great unit at one of our favorite Canmore resorts. Full stocked with everything you could need. Great communication with host. Would absolutely come back again
Found dirty socks in bottom of a nightstand. No bulb for a light above kitchen island. Only one hair dryer. The peice for hair dryer did not fit. Fire place in living room did not work. Nor did the one in king bed bedroom. No beding fit properly in double bed bedroom. It t needs a king bedor queen.
We loved this condo! Huge space to fit a family of two plus a dog. The patio is huge. And, the park pass was a nice touch! Thank you for the great vacation!
The condo was great for a family . I was disappointed in the pool. Also there is an hvac system outside the balcony which made it too noisy for me to enjoy the balcony.
Beds were comfy as well as the sofa bed.
Overall however if these things donât bother you you get good value for a condo in Canmore.
Second time staying at Solara - last time was a three bedroom
unit. This was a nice spacious two bedroom unit perfect for two couples. Everything was perfect except for the Air conditioner which would not cool the room below 72F (22C) so we were sweating - a couple of fans would have been nice!
All good except lots of walking from parking to your unit since one of the elevator was down carpet in apartment is old and doesnât look like itâs been cleaned all other items supplied very well like the shower bath tub awesome and water pressure is very good.
The Solara has become our accommodation of choice on trips to Canmore and this unit was no let down. Communication prior to arrival was great and all the info we needed was given to us. The view if the mountains from the balcony was perfect and the unit was in great condition.
Would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Canmore.
Apartment was clean, modern, well stocked with daily needs, super comfortable bed, quiet complex and located conveniently. Communication with host was quick, friendly and informative. There is a spa, a grab and go cafe and liquor store in the hotel complex, and a restaurant just opposite, plus many restaurants, cafes and bars very nearby. The bus stop is a block away, and walking into downtown takes about 10 minutes. Highway access was 2 minutes away, and if you bring your furry friend, there is an off leash park 5 min walk away, or lots of lovely on-leash rambles all nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our time, highly recommend. Thanks so much for an awesome stay!
This property is conveniently located near downtown, Canmore. We found the property to be clean, quiet and very accommodating for two couples. Please consider as it is a fraction of the cost of a Banff hotel. Property is located 20 minutes from downtown Banff. And the owner provides a N/C Park pass.
The apartment is in a nice building in one of the quieter neighborhoods. We were able to walk everywhere in Canmore on the really nice trail system the town has.
The unit was perfect for our group, two couples and a single person. It is very well laid out and very clean.
We enjoyed our stay very much! The condo is in a great location and we were able to walk to town. Condo is getting a bit worn, but still quite nice. Pre-check in communication was excellent, except that we were given the wrong code and were unable to get into the unit. Fortunately we figured out that two numbers were reversed. Would definitely stay here again!
Our first port of call following arrival in Calgary. This accommodation lived up to its expectation. Provided a superb stay for 5 nights. Our only thought was a âhow toâ guide would have been useful for the oven!!

Nice property. Parking is a bit tight if you have larger vehicles.
Lots of room for a 2 bed condo. Everything we needed was there. Great having a front desk for help when needed.

After a wonderful day in the outdoors, I love to come home and relax in front of the fire with a good book. Or treat myself to a massage and relax in the hot tub that is conveniently located in the same building. Or if I'm really ambitious, exercise in a fully equipped gym that rivals anything available at home.The Solara has it all!!
