Welcome to our RALEXing Mountain Retreat! Beautiful upgrades of new decor and paint for you and your family ... just pack your bags! Treat yourself to the breath taking grandeur of the world famous Canadian Rockies from this quiet 2 bed, 2 bath corner suite with stunning views from every window. Enjoy the classic Bow Valley adventures of hiking, wildlife tours or just relaxing in the mountain beauty. Explore the scenic towns of Canmore & Banff offering world class skiing, restaurants & boutiques.
Look no further, this IS THE vacation home you've been searching for. It is our personal privately owned suite that is located in the 5-star Solara Resort. It is definitely a premiere corner suite with beautiful southwest views. Since it is our own mountain retreat we have upgraded with beautiful new paint colors. new blinds and new furniture.
In the RALEXing Master bedroom we have a beautiful new King Bed with a discreet yet convenient desk, new nightstands and luxurious new bedding featuring 1200 thread count sheets. In the second bedroom we have a beautiful new QUEEN sized bunk bed with extra head room between the top and lower bunks and new night stands. The beautiful bunk beds are built solidly for adults and children - perfect for glamping in the mountains. Both bedrooms feature blackout blinds for comfort. In addition we have lots of new artwork and also have a new large dining table which can seat up to 8 people using the 2 benches. Since it is our own Mountain Retreat we have included many conveniences to make your stay one to remember and we hope you will love it as much as we do and entice you to keep coming back.
This private and quiet corner unit has plenty of room to relax & unwind since it is one of the largest 2 bedroom units at 945 sq feet. It is perfect for families and couples or friends looking for a RALEXing getaway. The bright living and dining area is warm and spacious, making it perfect for brunch and dinners every day. It really is our home away from home so we've stocked it with extras perfect for a Home Chef/Chef in training such as champagne glasses, extra serving platters, wok and small appliances like rice and slow cookers so you can come home to a nice meal and glass of wine after your mountain adventure. You will enjoy the cork floors, granite counters, and stainless steel high-end appliances. There are 2 electric fireplaces, two smart TVs and an oversized balcony with electric bbq. There is everything you could need for your home away from home vacation including wine fridge, sofa bed with new extra thick mattress, multi-jet shower and spa tub and in-suite washer and dryer. We also offer amenities such as spa bathroom essentials of shampoo, conditioner and body wash from Rocky Mountain Soap which is locally made with 100% natural, simple, ingredients. We also offer coffee, tea, sugar, basic spices (salt & pepper grinders, steak spice, roasted red pepper & garlic spices, olive oil and non-stick spray), anti-bacterial hand soap, unscented laundry soap and unscented dryer sheets .
There are 2 brand new Smart TVs and Wi-Fi is included so you can stream your favorite movie by the cozy fireplace. Or if you have to work from home, why not enjoy doing it with a mountain view... then take in all that the mountains have to offer and unwind in your personal mountain retreat. The Master bedroom does have a discreet desk which you can just close up with your work inside once you're ready to enjoy the mountains. Out of sight and out of mind!
We include a National Park Pass (Family/Group for one vehicle) so that you can bypass the long lines at the National Banff Park entrance and saving you the park entrance fee. Instead of wasting time and spending more money just drive straight through to begin your adventure in Banff National Park . The pass is also good for any of the other National parks nearby. Keep in mind there is a new Provincial Kananaskis Conservation Pass which must be purchased for each vehicle and you can purchase online or we can help provide a link.
The resort offers the following:
- Aurora Theatre, the only movie theatre in Canmore
- Internet access - complimentary, high speed, wireless
- Relaxation lounge, fitness centre, change rooms
- Full service on-site spa facilities at One Wellness spa ($)
- Indoor swimming pool and hot tub
- Childrenâs activity room
- Secure, underground, heated free parking with high clearance
Other things to note:
*** In the interest of utmost safety for all our guests and our own family we are supplying antibacterial hand soap in the bathrooms and kitchen sink. Disinfecting wipes are also provided for use in the suite.
*** The hot-tub and swimming pool is open. The rules and processes may change according with provincial Alberta Health guidelines to ensure the safety of all guests. Please check in with front desk when you arrive to find out how to access the pool.
Please use the pool towels provided in our laundry area and bring them back up to our suite.
There is a detailed house binder in the property which will contain all the information regarding the property and local attractions that you will need.
Please do not bring sports equipment into the suite at any time - the parkade is heated and secure.

Our friends call us RALEX - Robert & Alex. We live in Calgary and we invite you to RALEX in our Mountain Retreat. We've always loved the mountains but in 2020 we went to the mountains much more than in past years. We had some amazing family time and created many new happy memories. We enjoy glamping, biking, hiking, paddle boarding and most importantly making s'mores over a campfire. The mountains are magical and we wanted to spend more time here but when we're not able to use our vacation home ourselves we wanted to be able to share our vacation home with you so can make your own beautiful mountain memories.
Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
This is our privately owned personal vacation home. We've recently painted and upgraded with SMART TVs. new furniture, new 1200 thread count linens and brand new fluffy towels. We also provide more and nicer amenities than many others so it really is one of the best suites in the resort. We're available to help you to ensure you have an amazing mountain getaway and keep you coming back again!
