Misleading description
Booked this property for the family to come in to town for a funeral. Due to the last min nature of the trip, we were forced to travel with our 2 dogs. The property was described as “dog friendly” “ fully fenced” with a “2 car garage”. We thought “perfect. Lots of space to contain the dogs during the service, viewing and any family activities. WRONG!!! This is a huge (multi acre) property with some split rail fencing here and there, but no area that would contain even large dogs, much less small ones. Horses, yes..dogs, noOn our arrival we knew the yard would not work for the dogs, so i said we would just put them in the 2 car garage while we were gone…WRONG. The “2 car garage” was a pole barn type lean to without doors. No way to contain the dogs in that. Unfortunately, our kids were already enroute from out of state and we had no option but to stay at this property. We felt trapped without the ability to travel to the events freely with the dogs safely contained on this “fully fenced, dog friendly property” (it was anything but). The misleading description (which is what we based our booking on) lead to increasing the stress level of an already overwhelmingly stressful weekend past the breaking point. If we could have found another place to relocate to we would have. But we were trapped there. As a former Marine, i made it work, but it was not easy or stress free.
