Bonjour et bienvenue à Chimney Top Acres! Notre B&B est situé à près de 8000 mètres d'altitude sur un ranch de 100 acres à 10 miles au nord-ouest de Ridgway, CO. Pendant la saison d'automne et d'hiver, nous allons permettre à nos clients de louer toute notre maison pour leur plaisir. Profitez de chevaux, de VTT et de sentiers de randonnée à votre porte avec un accès UTV facile autorisé au terrain BLM. Notre B&B est un mélange de charme de Story Brook et de paysages des Alpes suisses. Nous sommes situés à moins d'une heure de Telluride et à 30 minutes de Montrose et Ouray. Vous profiterez d'une vue imprenable sur les chaînes de montagnes Cimarron et San Juan. Notre chalet a une terrasse massive et deux balcons. Toute notre maison a subi une rénovation massive au cours des 3 derniers mois. Aucune dépense n'a été épargnée pour inclure les toilettes Kohler, les douches carrelées personnalisées et les robinets Delta. De nouveaux appareils sont un ajout à la cuisine qui dispose d'un évier Kraus et d'un robinet «sans contact».
Les clients pourront profiter d'une chambre / salle de bain au niveau principal avec deux chambres supplémentaires et une salle de bain au deuxième étage. Les deux chambres à l'étage disposent d'un balcon Un mini-réfrigérateur est également situé au deuxième étage.
La buanderie est située au rez-de-chaussée et dispose d'une nouvelle laveuse / sécheuse ultra grande pour votre commodité. Le salon et la salle à manger sont également situés au rez-de-chaussée. La salle à manger de 7 pieds sur mesure pourra accueillir confortablement 8 personnes.
Vos enfants et bébés de fourrure sont les bienvenus !!! Nous avons de la place pour eux pour courir et explorer, y compris le vélo de montagne et les sentiers de randonnée situés sur place.

Expectations Meet

Our Family has been coming to the Ouray area for the past 10 years renting different properties and we all think this pushes the number one spot. Clean and well stocked everything we needed was there. Great views and secluded. And yes don't forget about Barney the friendly Cat.

This was our 2nd time staying at thise property. We chose it for this trip because the first time was excellent. The views are amazing, the outdoor space is amazing and the house has such charm. Communication was great and we had another excellent week in Ridgway at this home.

Great Family Vacation

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The views from the house were amazing. We spent some great family time on the back porch around the fire and dinner outside. We enjoyed walking around the property and Barney the cat was very friendly. Watching the deer in the morning was a plus. We all had a fantastic time and the kids loved Pip (the goat) also.

Wonderful place - private, homey, incredible view.

From privacy to layout to deer and turkey in the back yard ... hiking, sledding, proximity to town--it was perfect. Thank you! Wonderful spot. So great to have stayed for many 180 degree sunrise-sunsets over the San Juans.

Cozy cabin with spectacular views

We absolutely loved our stay in this charming little Chalet. I did not want to leave and wish we could live there. The views were spectacular, it was a cozy cabin with everything we needed. It was the perfect location and set up for our group. We were in the area visiting our daughter and grandchildren. This home made for the perfect location for our little family to have dinner and play table games together. We loved seeing wildlife each evening and the local cat was quite the companion. Nikki was quick to respond with answers to any questions I had. We definitely hope to come back in the future and would highly recommend this chalet to anyone looking to visit the area. I fell in love with it.

Views

Immaculate property, everything thing you need is on site. In all of our years of traveling, I don’t think we’ve ever had such a spectacular view in all direction. Simply breath taking. I almost didn’t see the need to leave at all, just a book and a glass of wine while enjoying the mountains. We were able to bring our dogs which was greatly appreciated, they travel everywhere with us. The corgi was a little mad most of the time because the barn cat sat in my lap more than he did and both dogs enjoyed the cat walking with us every morning

Beautiful mountain escape

The cabin and property were beautiful. Well maintained and clean. The barn cat on the property was a great hunter and we enjoyed having Barney the barn cat to greet us when we arrived at the property. Nikki was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. The only thing that I would change about the cabin is the addition of air-conditioning... The cabin got very hot during the day and took a long time to cool off in the evening. The master bedroom window wouldn't open so it was very stuffy in that room. But we made due with the fans that were provided to stay cool during our stay. This would not deter us from staying again. We very much enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave.

Million $ view and $1 management and maintenance.

The location was perfect for our purposes and the view is spectacular. However………there was trash scattered on the ground when we arrived. The wood box was also stuffed with trash from a previous occupant. We picked up the trash and the manager(?) came and took the cans. But did not empty the wood box. In fact she wondered if we put it there. After being there for an hour. We finally removed it ourselves after the house began to smell. The fire pit pictured in the listing had been removed and the propane was empty so we had to grill at another property in our group. The kitchen is completely disorganized and if there are measuring cups, we couldn’t find them. There windows are either stuck or if they do open, there are are no screens. Makes it difficult to cool the house. And then there’s the cat. Nice enough unless you run out of food for it. All in all we had a wonderful week. But next time we’ll look more carefully at the property we choose. You may want to do the same if your considering this property.

This is a fantastic cabin property. The outside space, deck and views are amazing! Everything we needed for our family get-together. Quiet and yet close enough to explore the area attractions. Only thing that would make it better is when they get the hot tub going!

Stunning Views, Amazing Location

We loved our stay. The house is comfortable, and the location is amazing. The pictures of the views don't do it justice--the mountains all around are stunning. We ate dinner outside every night, accompanied by the extremely affectionate barn cat, Barney. My daughter adored her bunk-bed cave in the basement. And there is so much to do in the area! Beautiful hikes (don't miss the Blue Lakes!), horseback riding (we recommend Baker's Ranch), paddleboarding in Ridgeway State Park, and a short drive to Telluride (where we took an RV tour into even higher elevations). It was extremely hot while we were there, but the basement stayed cool and the house cooled down at night. Oh, and you can ask the host to turn off the outdoor lights at night for the most incredible stargazing ever!

What a cool family property. So much character and space with modern updates. Good location. We were there to look for property ourselves and visit friends. Awesome views. Very friendly cat. A fire pit would have been perfect for outside in the cold. Overall a great stay. Recommend.

Amazing mountain retreat

My husband and I booked this rental for a destination elopement with our parents and one child. We all loved it and wished we could have stayed longer! The house is beautiful and spacious and the views and cute animals are just the cherry on the top! We were very appreciative of Nikki being so flexible when some of our guests bailed or needed us to rebook different dates! Not ideal at all but Nikki was understanding and flexible and helped us navigate how to change the reservation! We will definitely be back to celebrate an anniversary at some point and hope to stay longer and enjoy the animals some too! The little kitty is just sooooo sweet and we enjoyed her company and her guiding us around the neat property and all it has to offer! Highly recommend this Vrbo!!

Lovely outside and comfortable inside.

Totally enjoyed our stay with our pup. The log hill location is on a gravel road but easy to get to Montrose, Ouray and Telluride, which were our primary areas of exploration. It did rain part of each day during our stay but we could sit under the overhang, against the house, with sweet Barney the cat and watch the clouds and rainbows over the mountains. Loved it!

Beautiful and secluded

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was very roomy for 3 couples. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had ample supples for us to cook each night. Nikki was very responsive and helpful when contacted. My only suggestion would be to add some brighter lighting in the common areas, especially in the kitchen.

Amazing views and great location

We had a great stay!! Plenty of room for a large family. Lots of bathrooms (important for a large family...lol) The owner was so nice and easy to work with. The location was central to all the trails. Parking was amazing...lol... I know, it's just parking, but we had 4 Jeeps and a fifth come to visit and there is more than enough room to park close. That made it so easy to load and unload every day. Coffee and breakfast on the porch every morning with Barney (the kitty) was the best way to start our day. She is precious and we miss her already. The house is fully stocked with all the essentials of home. We would definitely stay here again.

Ranch house with an epic view

This property was amazing. The views of the San Juan mountains are breathtaking. The house is very cozy and relaxing. Sitting on that porch and enjoying the mountain air with that view is unbeatable. You have so much privacy with the size of this property. We felt all alone in the mountains. We made trips to Telluride, Silverton, Ouray, Ridgway and the Black Canyon all from the ranch house. Just a great place and a great spot.

Peaceful Getaway in Ouray

The property is charming, clean and well-outfitted. The view and peaceful setting were restorative during our busy road trip around Colorado. The property is well situated to explore beautiful Ouray County - Telluride, Ridgeway, Ouray and Silverton. Our family loved the affection of sweet Barney the cat!

Hi y'all! My husband and I purchased Chimney Top Acres in April of 2019. The house underwent a complete renovation in 2019 as my family and I resided in the basement. We ran a very successful B&B until June of 2021 at which time we sold the property to a lovely couple, Mike & Amy, from TX. We are now renting the property exclusively as a vacation rental. My husband and I built a home on the adjoining 35-acre parcel. I serve as property manager for the new owners. We have a few goats and a barn cat on site at the barn. I frequent the barn a few times per day to check on them!

This property is truly magical. We searched near and far and have been blow away by what this property has to offer. The views are AMAZING!!! We have no light pollution therefore star gazing is optimal. The main house deck and Alpenglow guest room balcony face the West. You will enjoy spectacular sun sets as well from the Edelweiss room.
