This thoughtfully designed 5-bedroom home provides plenty of room for families, groups, or friends traveling together. The house was perfect. We were here for the high school girls state competition. We had 2 girls and 3 coaches and the house was ideal for sleeping and team breakfast before each day of competition.

I had booked quite a few VRBOs for a wedding in Montrose. Great location but I thought it was a little expensive. I had another VRBO, brand new on the golf course that was cheaper but didn't have as many bedrooms.

Very clean, lots of room. Kitchen was nice. Large bathrooms. Didn't realize it was a manufactured home with a basement. Inside stairs were too steep for one of my guests, and had to access the basement bedroom from outside stairs. Back patio was very nice.

The Walker Ranch property was perfect for our large group. Plenty of bed space and room for everyone to both gather for meals and spread out for fun. The board games and card decks were perfect for entertaining, as was the pool table in the well-appointed finished basement. There was room for everyone's vehicles - even some shade trees to park under. The backyard was perfect for our large Malinois doggo to get lots of exercise. We're all about cooking for crowds, and kitchen was well-appointed for our needs. The one downside was the wildfire smoke - the swamp cooler required some windows to be open for efficient cool air circulation but this allowed choking smoke smell in as well ... That said, the cooler worked really well at keeping indoor temps very comfortable. Interactions with neighbors were mixed - some informative, and some not so much, but that didn't detract much from our stay. Communication with property management was helpful and respectful and made our stay enjoyable. They warned us about damage caused by previous tenants due to improper grill use so we knew what to expect when we arrived. We loved Montrose, especially the equine experience at Metaphorse, the local fishing, and the drive through Black Canyon.

We loved our stay at Walker Ridge! The house is very comfortable and well-maintained, the beds were fantastic, everything in the home was top-notch. The host reached out to make sure we had all the information on arrival and check-in that we needed as well. There's a notebook in the house with everything you need to know. The location was great, just far enough out of the busy areas to be relaxing and peaceful but close enough for a quick run to the store. The sitting areas in the back and the front were both comfortable and relaxing for morning coffee and evening sunsets.
